i think it’s important to know, the curly and coily hair bases are silicone free! i have curly hair and make sure to avoid silicone, and i got them at target to try out before making the jump to the real deal if the target one works well. also, i think it’s kinda fun to mix your hair goals in, it’s like making a special hair potion!

I got it tonight and totally didn’t notice that the boosters were shampoo and conditioner specific. I guess there is a 50/50 chance with each booster that I got it right. Lol.

Okay I just stalked the Instagram page. They said “The 2-pod blister packs are exactly the same, we just labeled them ‘for shampoo’ and ‘for conditioner’ to ensure it’s extra clear how to use them and put one in each!”
Fallon Duelly Oh thanks for telling me this. So actually I could put both in two separate conditioners then. I would think it would work better in conditioner anyways since it stays in your hair for a few minutes before being washed out.
Is it bad that I don’t use boosters?
i love the function of beauty from target! i’ve been using it for almost a year and i’ve seen a huge difference! i have thick, dry, curly hair and it’s really hard to keep it healthy, but using f.o.b from target my hair has been so healthy! my scalp isn’t oily nor dry anymore and it’s been so much easier to brush! i 100% recommend
I also have thick dry curly hair and I’m about to use it soon omg
Love FoB haircare! I'll still be ordering mine directly from their website, but it's great to know if I'm running low and forget to place my next order in time, that I can grab some from Target to tide me over. I don't do the automated shipping because I change my formula to match my hair needs and don't go through it the same amount at the same time consistently. Curious why they say to only add 3 from the Target selections yet we can pick 5 on the website. Also, wish we could pick up their hair mask at Target. Even though I have curly hair, I do get the silicone formula since FoB only uses water soluble silicone and there's definitely a difference. Good review, thanks!

I was definitely tempted to put in 5 hair goals, but the instructions seemed to stress that 3 was the maximum 🤷🏼♀️

I buy function of beauty on their website and mix in the booster shots from target. I know it might not be made to do that but I am getting the best hair results ever!!!! ❤️ My hair is the best ever especially with the mixed in booster shots! Been using function of beauty for two years now. Yes if there was an extra strong scent I would do the same! lol I read that the volumizing and anti frizz goals both have corn starch in it which also is good for oily roots.
Color protection booster has rice protein in it which sounds similar to the rice protein water videos I have watched. I also love deep conditioning, thermal protection, strengthen, lengthen, and anti frizz. They are difference ingredients used compared to the same hair goals ingredients on the website I noticed.
I don't think it matters with the boosters... both the shampoo and conditioner boosters are the same formula, they just label them for convenience.

I don’t know… 2 of my boosters were labeled and one wasn’t.
I just bought these and tried them out and I’m hoping for positive results!! Most people are discussing allegations and what not, but I believe every hair company has an allegation against them. I have tried so many brands of hair products and I’m pretty positive all of them had bad reviews. (Unless they were extremely high end)
Not to mention I grew up using really bad hair products and my hair survived just find. I guess it simply varies. Great review!
I’ve been using the wavy hair shampoo + conditioner for about 5-6 months and honestly it’s made my scalp super itchy and irritated lately
I’m a guy and I started growing my hair out in December of 2019. I appreciate this review because I’ve been getting sick and tired of having to reorder my product but it’s so great to finally have it in a store nearby.

I feel like they should make a few more scents like peach medium, peach strong, etc. plus make purple shampoo. But I guess for a cheap product that’s what u can expect

I’ve been waiting for this video!! I think they do only 3 boosters because of the potency. I love function of beauty but definitely prefer the online order because I’d rather not play chemist at home lol

It’s actually fun pouring it in and mixing it up in the shampoo and conditioner. I put my booster shots in the online products and have the best hair ever now! 😀
I got the mask today and I saw on tiktok it makes ur hair fall out? I’m in the military and after my training I’ve noticed that my hair was definitely falling out and thinning out. A. Ton. I stopped using shampoo and conditioner to see if the breakage would stop and it did. I just bought the mask to use like weekly to kinda give it a little bit of care.
Covid (which we've probably ALL been exposed to) can cause hair loss. Is that a possibility?

@@Taters_Precious ofc! if you don't like the smell of peach, i wouldn't recommend. she says it has a light smell but i think it's actually pretty powerful! i have a sensitive nose though... 😂😂😂
Can somone please tell me if the shampoo works with only 2 boosters? I didnt know u needed 3 boosters so i only got 2

I don’t like them, I got shine, non friz, and strengthen. It didn’t do anything different from the normal brand I already had. So I would still use my old brand because in my opinion it doesn’t work.
I buy function of beuty products from target because getting things off line is just not an option for me. But when I'm older...

Could you put essential oils in it for fragrance?
I would not recommend using essential oils on your skin directly and especially the scalp. This can damage your scalp.
They already have a fragrance.
I did a bit of digging (Btw I love your energy and I'm just as clumsy as you, which is why I watch videos. 1, they aren't meant specifically for Shampoo or Conditioner. They are the exact same and Function Of Beauty just puts them on their as a reminder "Just incase you put one in a bottle, forget which bottle, then put 4 or 5 in a bottle by accident". 2, They only say to put 3 in the bottle because 4+ shots do not mix well unless you have an impulsion blender shake. Again, love your video. I will definitely be subscribing!

I’ll say it’s definitely not has hydrating as their products from their website
I would try mixing in the deep condition, thermal protection (hydrating) and strengthen boosters then. Hopefully that helps your hair.

oh noo im so dumb lol im just a clumsy girl so when i got this at target I didnt even get the booster shots. im new to this product so when I got it I never knew I had to get the booster shots for the #hairgoals but now im scared. what would happen now? :(

@@pixie._5203 it's just extra serum ingredients. It says on the bottle you can use it alone. You can also buy them later on and just mix them in.
