An interesting twist here is apparently copilot cant make sophisticated coordinated changes to multiple files. Copilot can only make repetitive pattern edits to multiple files. Thats nice but not in the same league as cursor, windsurf, aider, or cline. Otoh for $10/mo thats a good deal for unlimited completions and requests. Great video thank you!
Im loving the google idx set up, powerful with cline as well. Seems to do better with gemini 2.0 flash than claude. Sure you did a video on this. I Love that they made this free for everyone.
I install many AI coding extensions. I observed they will compete each others during auto completion. So I disable all others and enable only 1 AI coding extension at a time.
Files are not being created automatically for me. Instead, the Explorer keeps opening repeatedly without actually generating the files. Is this normal?
When i used windsurf, it was unusable to the frequent Error: "resource_exhausted. If that problem still persist, any AI Editor will be better than windsurf.
That progression has been made for long time. We used to program on punched card -> binary code -> assembly -> C -> Python. The pattern is clear, programming language it more and more similar to natural language. LLM maybe is a new type of compiler.
@theairaccumulator7144 Yeah. Great for small side projects you want to spin up quickly. It gets used some for web services with Django, but it's painfully slow.
From a business/privacy point of view is Copilot the only one which offers privacy? Copilot is the only AI my employer will allow because of it's privacy.
The fact that it refreshes every month is a game changer
What I like about Cursor is the ability to scrape and store in local db the most up-to-date online documentation and refer it in the chat.
Nice feature, didnt know it
thank you. nice to have the free version in my pocket if i run out of windsurf credits before the end of the month...
Cline is the king 🤴 anyway
Not for developers who know what they're doing, I felt like
Gemini flash 2.0 for me atm. Will probably change any day again. Crazy atm

Yo.. that is surreal that no one commented YET!

personally prefer a combination of aider, windsurf, and cline depending on use cases 😊
In the free version, who is the best Copilot or Codeium?
I have the pro copilot. Best thing ever.
I can`t afford it Claude\4o. Can it run Gemini 2.0?
Can I use it alongside codeium? Both will call the Ctrl/command + i, I believe

Hello i am a beginner in coding and i was asking if you can create a detailed step by step guide to set up git and GitHub repository in vscode
Is it better then windsurf?
When i used windsurf, it was unusable to the frequent Error: "resource_exhausted. If that problem still persist, any AI Editor will be better than windsurf.
I don't know. We have so much alternatives now. Basically, it's Copilot's fault why we are now relaying on AI on programming.

@@John-sd5li bruh python is only used for data science and AI, all of which calls into C libraries

whoa, incredible
i wish claude was available free forever
Aider is the king

Nah, Cline is King! 👑 All I need is Cline Autocomplete n' that'll be great.
2000 code completions is nothing. I stay with my cline and continue.
What's cline
Better than cursor ?
Why free just pay some money to get desend results 😂
Github Copilot is not available in my region! Omg
Where are you living, in Tora Bora?
@cscs9192 nah.
@@behruz_developer cant use VPN?
@@behruz_developer Where exactly is nah?
Would be great if i could add some local llms to it.
Lmao I thought it is per DAY, per month? Well then back to Cline/Continue then.
Id only use microsoft copilot on my deathbed
lol... you like not?
Exhausted gemini 2.0 in an hour. Need to make codestral work in cline
lmfao but it’s free though :) can’t afford to be picky when you want free guys …
Gracias its gif you use translete vocal thank😊
❤❤❤
Nah, cline and windsurf are better.
It will be hard for them stay better as they are basically VSCode extensions or offshoots.
