2600 gets hand-me-down shoes. At least they're from the same family. I think the tube will counter the possibility of a pitted or weak bead seal. Those older rims don't seem to be factory fresh, and the only way you'd have any confidence in keeping a seal would be to sand, fill and paint the inner seal region of each rim; tubes are cheaper.

I am amazed that you found the rims at Walmart. Did you enter the tractor model or did you put the rim measurements in? I need some new rims for my Massey Harris Pony so curious what they might have for that. I run about 10 psi in rear tires on the 8N. If it was me I would just run tubes in the front.
I don’t recall if I searched for Ford 2000 tractor rims or implement rims. Most of these 6 lug style wheels are the same pattern. I tried searching again and came up with some silver ones for $54. The look the same so maybe they’ve gone up or possibly sold out of the ones I bought? I’ll probably let some air out of these rear tires, 18 may be a tab much.
try and hold the video making device still for a few seconds ! One cannot study what you are filming, watch the TV nobody waves the camcorder about, pan slowly, hold still, then we wont suffer from motion sickness and can see what you are on about.

You can adjust the preload on those front bearings and repack them in like 15 min
Yes, I need to do that. The 2600 has grease zerks on the hub.
On our ford the other lever is gear range, hi/lo.
On the side by the lift? This one has high and low but it’s next to the other shifter.
