how is this kid not more popular on youtube and all over the world in general!? Hope he gets global recognition that his supreme talent deserves soon, literally haven't heard a voice like this before.
Since this comment I have seen Davy live 4 times in the UK. Once in 2017 (that gig hooked me, if I wasn't before) and 3 days in a row in 2018......Bloody hell he is fantastic live. I can honestly say there is no other artist I would rather see live. If he is ever playing near you go see him, you will not regret it!
I saw him live 4 days ago, amazing show! He has a fantastic voice and I love the way he plays the guitar. I would pay gold to see him again! Ahah. No words for describe him. I wanna be like Davy (: .
The last time I caught him was the second to the last show opening for Chckenfoot, and he was solo doing acoustic. Place went crazy for him. I can't believe the composure this dude has. He is just absolutely unbelievable! What a talent.
Where in the hell have I been? This kids is fantastic! Like I needed ANOTHER reason to sell my rig and take up bowling! Well done! I'll be buying his stuff as soon as I'm done posting this.
Quality Quality Quality. I have been listening to this track at least once a week for the last 2 years. It's superb stuff this lad should be fecking huge, Steve Hughes should add Davy to his list!
Whoa! Davy Knowles is the best thing I've heard since the Deep South blues. And working with Peter Frampton will bring out the best in them both. Brilliant.
Saw them with Chickenfoot a few days ago here in Houston. Most crowds can be a little hostile to warm-up acts but Davy had the crowd up and cheering after the opening song. His new CD is brilliant, too!
Hauled from the wreckage Dragged to the side of the road There's a man, standing alone Live by the moonlight Blown by the wind Nothing there, but the road in front of him Chorus: So tear down the walls Storm through the barricades There's fight in every corner And a night to everyday Verse 2: Drawn here by circumstance Led here by fate Some kind of misunderstanding, Led the soul astray Went down on his knees Reached up to the skies Said Lord I followed your way, won't you show me mine Chorus (2x): So tear down the walls Storm through the barricades There's fight in every corner And a night to everyday Solo: Verse 3: They say at night You hear him plead With the devil below, for his soul's release Chorus (2x): So tear down the walls Storm through the barricades There's fight in every corner And a night to everyday
also the next paul rodgers never heard a rock singer as good , for a long time now. he his a natural musician. very keen. wont be long till he is topps. i wish him all the luck.
That was by far the best solo I've heard/seen in a looooooonngg time. The people hosting that radio show must be pop fans or something, because if I was in that studio and I just heard/saw Davy and the band play like that, my mind would have been blown.... On second thought, maybe that's what happened, and it left them speechless??
Just saw him live for the first time in Dallas on July 2nd... what an incredible live performance. Everything live music should be. Class act guy as well. No need to debate who is better among him, Joe B. or any of the others that might belong in that list...doesn't matter. They all kick ass.
@GuitarAddiction7 It's a testament to how the company is run. If you are talented and work hard, you will be rewarded with a company that backs your every move with some of , to me, the best instruments in the business. Davy is one of the nicest people I know.
Saw them open for Chickefoot last night. They were amazing. This kid can play. Honestly would rather have heard them play a full set and Hagar's band open for them.
Check out the solo on What in The World Pt 2 from the Prairie Dog Blues Festival. You may have to revise that "1000 guys" estimate a little. Its off the charts.
joe satriani meets ronny milsap ps: my god this is the best band post 2000 that i have ever seen. lyrics that will make you think and spine tingling, tom morello worthy guitar solos!!! wish they were on the radio
how is this kid not more popular on youtube and all over the world in general!? Hope he gets global recognition that his supreme talent deserves soon, literally haven't heard a voice like this before.
Davey just rips it up and Bob and Tom sit there like a couple of oafs.
I still can't believe that Davy Knowles isn't a household name yet.
He's very well known in my household :D
Davy is absolutely amazing. I just wish that more people even knew who he was...
He's played Charleson SC a couple of times.

Hauled from the wreckage
Dragged to the side of the road
There's a man, standing alone
Live by the moonlight
Blown by the wind
Nothing there, but the road in front of him
Chorus:
So tear down the walls
Storm through the barricades
There's fight in every corner
And a night to everyday
Verse 2:
Drawn here by circumstance
Led here by fate
Some kind of misunderstanding, Led the soul astray
Went down on his knees
Reached up to the skies
Said Lord I followed your way, won't you show me mine
Chorus (2x):
So tear down the walls
Storm through the barricades
There's fight in every corner
And a night to everyday
Solo:
Verse 3:
They say at night
You hear him plead
With the devil below, for his soul's release
Chorus (2x):
So tear down the walls
Storm through the barricades
There's fight in every corner
And a night to everyday
I went to the same high school as Davy, even at the age of 16 this guy was amazing. Gutted I missed the gig he played when he came home last :(
