- AHHHH THIS EPISODE WAS AMAZING!! Mitsuri finally here and fighting at last and omg I am utterly obsessed with her fighting style, it's beautiful the way it's like she's dancing! And her love breathing too! Not to mention her special strength. And we got her backstory which I'm glad was not as bad as the others but emotional still and I really liked how realistic it was. Mitsuri best girl! Can't wait to see her and the trio take out upper 4 for good next episode!

I loved seeing everyones reaction to Obanai's treatment of Mitsuri. I absolutely love Obanai as a character, can't explain why cuz spoilers, but I can't wait for the anime to get to that part.
Cute fact, the Data books explain really great information that isn't seen in the main story such as what every Hashira thinks of each other. Obanai's opinion of Mitsuri states: "I love her. She's so cute. I'm unable to speak logically sometimes and I worry because of it."
and Mitsuri's opinion on Obanai states: "He's a very kind person! The letters he writes are wonderful and he compliments me a lot! In addition, he always waits for me with a friendly smile when I'm slowly eating."

Lol I was thinking the exact same thing as Tanjiro the whole time, MITSURI IS SO COOL!! and her backstory was really beautiful in my opinion. She never had anything terrible happen like the other Hashira, she actively chose to dedicate her life to help people out of pure love, and when she followed her heart she found true acceptance. God I love this season 😭
THIS! Have been reading people say "what a shitty backstory" but this is what makes it amazing, she never got hurt/traumatized by demons and she still chose to risk her life to help others and even became a hashira!

Yesss I love the fact that her backstory wasn't majorly traumatic with family all killed by demons or anything like that. She just possessed a special quality and wanted to use it to save others. I think that's really special compared to the others we've seen a lot of

[these won't be included in the anime most likely as it's from manga narration and data books]:
- Mitsuri was trained by Rengoku , they have a close student-teacher relationship and both have similar personalities.
- Rengoku taught her flame breathing , but it wasn't adapted to her body and so she created love breathing on the spot in one of her fights. Love breathing embodies the emotion of wanting to protect others and to save human life, which represents Mitsuri quite well.
- Mitsuri's techniques have been said to be faster than Tengen's.
- Her white haori was a handmade gift from Rengoku.
- Her uniform was made by perverted tailor. Shinobu, Kanao and Aoi got the same , but Shinobu burnt them all and got normal outfits. Mitsuri was too kind to do so and just kept the uniform.

I love how Mitsuri is pretty real compared to the other hashiras. Guy's like Muichiro and Rengoku out here assessing the situation in 0.2 seconds and knowing what to do, and does the move accordingly. While Mitsuri gives an "WAIT, Can i deal with this?!" as she deals with the thing
Mitsuri's💕 story is one of love & finding a place where she belong (I love it). Also her being so strong explains why a ribbon-like sword can slash through demons and their spells. Her dancing creates intricate slashes, while her unnatural strength does all the work.

Tangiro's extra bit of stress when he screamed at Hantengu is giving him ptsd from Akaza. Dude can't stand demons who do evil, and get away with it like it was nothing. Another fun thing I noticed, Tangiro smelled Zouhakuten (the hatred demon) ate over 200-ish people... That was the same number of passengers inside the Mugen train.
Didnt zohakuten said that he only ate powerful people?, especially demon slayers, so not just 200 average people btw

I was cussing at the man from the bottom of my heart and with every word i knew when he said only a boar or bear will marry her.....Like, I'm not a simp or anything fir mitsuri but as a man with respect towards women thats a terrible thing to say...If you dont like her just reject her I would've been fine but to say only an animal would would marry her is just down right disgusting as a human being..I do realise that this is early 1900's in a eastern country where it was mostly a patriarchal society and having different hair colours is seen as a freak,but still thats a bad thing to say... Also its refreshing to see how theres a back story which doesn't include a demon attacking and killing family and they became demon slayer for revenge...she wanted a place where she can be accepted and loved when the society is rehecting her and as a demon slayer she can help people who appreciates her strenght so it really fita her "love" aesthetic so much!!

little thing that i notced is how Mitsuri fights. In the begining she fights using dance moves and using her sword like a ribon, but after flashback letting her true self out she uses the sword like a wip puting her whole strenth. and i love it. ( sorry for bad english.)
Her muscles are super dense so she's super strong despite looking very thin. Kind of like how chimps are strong enough to rip your face off despite looking weaker than humans

Mitsuri's voice actress is Kana Hanazawa. She is one of the young super-selling voice actors active in TV, movies, stage, songs, and commercials.
Career

Mai, Rengoku was Mitsuri's master and the white haori she wears was a handmade gift by Rengoku after she passed the final selection😊. Also, Rengoku and Uzui didn't get the mark bcz Tanjiro himself hadn't unlocked the slayer mark yet, as hinokami/sun breathing users act as a catalyst for other slayers to open their marks. Tanjiro attained his mark at the end of the Gyutaro fight, thus Muichiro and Mitsuri attained their marks while Rengoku and Uzui couldn't as they couldn't interact with Tanjro afterwards.

yeah.. it does feel short.. :/ 11 episodes even though first and last episode are over an hour long.. would love love 26 episodes.. like season 1 :D buut still very good, great even season^^ also about Genya.. i wonder if his being able to eat demons and turn into one ish is like a technique and mutliple people can do that.. or if its Genya specifically and if thats the case if there were others that werent happy about it something like in Nezuko case :O

@@OtakuMai Obanai despite being so harsh is actually a good. With demons (upper moons specifically) I cannot say who will have tragic backstory or not. But with Hashira every one of them has reason for being the way they were when we got introduced to them in season 1 during trail for Nezuko, Sanemi has reason for what he did. And Obanai is no different... but I can't say more.
