    Arguably the most consistent vocalist today.

    Her belts these recent years have been thick and solid. Well done Kat!

    Katrina's techniques:
    1) She's vocally consistent and healthy. She really knows her placements kaya hindi siya NAMAMAOS/NAGCCRACK even though na vocally challenging mga kinakanta niya (obvious naman sa mga performances niya). Chesty/Balanced/Heady mix name it.
    2) Katrina's vocal agility is impeccable (sa Little Big Stars pa lang maririnig mo na riffs and runs ni Whitney).
    3) Master of vocal transitions, dynamics and can even change her tone and style (Voice Impressions).
    4) Breath support is second to none (it's very obvious c'mon).
    5) Wide Tessitura (comfortable vocal range).
    Hindi naman po siguro siya maiinvite sa World's Best, America's Got Talent, Singer and Ellen kung hindi grabe vocals niya like fr.

    *Althought the video is about her belting....what makes me think she is possibly in her prime is, and we know she is self taught, that she can now easily whistle as well. Previously she did but never really wanted to much, but in the last few years she has done so and can confidently pull out a whistle note anytime. Not forgetting her range on low notes too...not easy even for top singers.*

      @@shawnstylesmendes4986 Jona has a stronger coordination than her if we refer to pop standards she has very little stress in the 4th octave and her vowels are also very good in this area. She is able to create a fully and well openes note is consistently.
      Mori also had a lot of moments in this area.
      If you've got enough grasp of the singing technique, you'll hear Katrina having a slight throat tense even during Bb4-C5, and from the compilation of her performances in this video,I really don't hear her having a good vowel.
      When we talk about Musicality/Musicianship,of course for me all three of them did it well, at least more than many I've heard from Kpop but I wouldn't say Katrina better than Jona and Mori, coz both of them had a great time in their musicality

    • @hallaur31
      @hallaur31 Год назад

      @@tty5317 lol legit vocal coaches like Yazik, Rebecca, and Katriinka will disagree with you. Morissette's technic is awful that's why she goes flat in the upper belts. You can search for a compilation here and Jona is too nasal lol. The way you confuse vocal freedom vs support just shows how ignorant you are.
