Hey Ben, Just found your videos. Love what your doing. I am travelling from Southampton on Dec. 3rd, on the NCL Encore. This is my 5th cruise in 3 years. Maybe someday I will spot you on board a NCL. You are doing a great job at what you are doing is encouraging me to continue doing cruises.
You're absolutely right about the solos program on NCL. I haven't seen any of the other lines offer prices or activities as good for solo cruisers. I'm already a fan, but I recently (late May 2024) took a 9-day cruise to Alaska for $400 ... I booked it about 10 days before the cruise sailed and got a fantastic family inside cabin all to myself ... it was huge. I wasn't technically solo, I was traveling with 2 other friends, so I didn't make use of the daily solo gatherings, but I've met a lot of cool people at those gatherings on other cruises. It's nice to have that option ... it's nice to find people to maybe have a meal with or share an excursion when you're traveling alone. I enjoy your channel and would love to see whatever content you choose to put out.

Hi Ben congrats on your 10k ..We messaged you recently to tell you we were going on the prima and to walk to waterfall you did in Gerainger...We did it and on the way down we met an American couple who asked us how far to go ....we said 30 mins but well worth it ...we told them one of our fav vloggers said it was very worth it after initially thinking not ...they said ..was that Ben ?....we said wow yes it was .so what are the chances of meeting a random couple on the side of a mountain in Norway and we both watch you !!...you are. Hi Ben. This is such a pure and honest post (like all your other posts). I am really inspired by you. Love your absolute "childlike" enthusiasm when you board a ship. Unfortunately living in South Africa (beautiful Cape Town) we don't get that much opportunity to get on a ship hence we have to fly loooong hours to get to a mediterranean cruise etc. That adds to costs. I have never been on a cruise but guess what, in January I will be doing my first 4 day cruise (just around South Africa) and hopefully that will inspire me to do the Med and Europe. Keep up entertaining us. I just love you as a person, honest. To the point and speaking out whether it is good or bad.

Not just cruising which I love. I as well would love to do a route 66 road trip. I did do a road trip this past summer through 7 different states part of which was on route 66. I have 3 different cruises booked through the end of this year. Then 3 more next year so far booked. I love your vlogs as your a regular person, not posh as most of the travel channels. Hi Ben! Actually I believe people will watch whatever you choose to film in the future. I have been on one cruise in my life! ( Celebrity). I did not particularly enjoy it but I know lots love it! The ship, staff and people I met were lovely and I was very well treated. It’s just not for me. I know how you feel about people asking you about your accent! I am English born and schooled but both parents not British born. Mum Canadian and Dad born in Penang of British father and Portuguese Chinese mother (Eurasian). Both had lovely accents but as children never noticed. I’ve lived in Canada now 50 plus years. I believe I sound English. All my friends here also love my British accent but I land in the UK and no one knows what I am! Any keep up the good work. I look forward to your next video!💕🇨🇦

Parents settled in Lincolnshire but they sent my sister and I to a private convent school so really don’t have a Lincolnshire accent! My eldest granddaughter loves my accent and recently I flew up to visit them inCanada’s Eastern arctic (Iqaluit, Nunavut) and she proudly invited her friends over to meet me and hear tales of my many adventures!

I don’t think it was meant to be rude but there are better ways to ask that question, even though imho it’s not relevant to travel videos. Hopefully your channel will continue to grow and you can get to tick off your bucket list which btw, sounds exciting! Are you able to drive on ‘the wrong side of the road’?? (My apologies to Americans and Europeans for that terminology!😬) Where I live we drive on the same side as England and I don’t think I’d ever be able to ‘switch’ easily! I’d become a road hazard so that’s a big no-no. Would be cool to see you do a road trip in the US though! I love it when you show the different types of food too, and you do show that, so it’s great. I agree with you that we don’t need to see you eating it. I do like watching some channels on food reviews - Gary Eats is my favorite! You're absolutely right about the solos program on NCL. I haven't seen any of the other lines offer prices or activities as good for solo cruisers.
I'm already a fan, but I recently (late May 2024) took a 9-day cruise to Alaska for $400 ... I booked it about 10 days before the cruise sailed and got a fantastic family inside cabin all to myself ... it was huge. I wasn't technically solo, I was traveling with 2 other friends, so I didn't make use of the daily solo gatherings, but I've met a lot of cool people at those gatherings on other cruises. It's nice to have that option ... it's nice to find people to maybe have a meal with or share an excursion when you're traveling alone.
I enjoy your channel and would love to see whatever content you choose to put out.

Hi Ben congrats on your 10k ..We messaged you recently to tell you we were going on the prima and to walk to waterfall you did in Gerainger...We did it and on the way down we met an American couple who asked us how far to go ....we said 30 mins but well worth it ...we told them one of our fav vloggers said it was very worth it after initially thinking not ...they said ..was that Ben ?....we said wow yes it was .so what are the chances of meeting a random couple on the side of a mountain in Norway and we both watch you !!...you are. I'm here for all travel content, not just cruising. I've never been on a cruise myself but have been getting more curious about them which is probably why the algorithm put your videos in front of me. I love hearing where other people's travels take them, places I haven't been or that I didn't even know about. Their perspectives on places I have been or even where I live. Hi Ben. This is such a pure and honest post (like all your other posts). I am really inspired by you. Love your absolute "childlike" enthusiasm when you board a ship. Unfortunately living in South Africa (beautiful Cape Town) we don't get that much opportunity to get on a ship hence we have to fly loooong hours to get to a mediterranean cruise etc. That adds to costs. I have never been on a cruise but guess what, in January I will be doing my first 4 day cruise (just around South Africa) and hopefully that will inspire me to do the Med and Europe. Keep up entertaining us. I just love you as a person, honest. To the point and speaking out whether it is good or bad.

I love all travel as well. Not just cruising which I love. I as well would love to do a route 66 road trip. I did do a road trip this past summer through 7 different states part of which was on route 66.
I have 3 different cruises booked through the end of this year. Then 3 more next year so far booked.
I love your vlogs as your a regular person, not posh as most of the travel channels.
I like your enthusiasm about all of your trips and places you show us.
You're helping me chose which itinerary/ trips I want to do/go to.

Hi Ben! Actually I believe people will watch whatever you choose to film in the future. I have been on one cruise in my life! ( Celebrity). I did not particularly enjoy it but I know lots love it! The ship, staff and people I met were lovely and I was very well treated. It’s just not for me. I know how you feel about people asking you about your accent! I am English born and schooled but both parents not British born. Mum Canadian and Dad born in Penang of British father and Portuguese Chinese mother (Eurasian). Both had lovely accents but as children never noticed. I’ve lived in Canada now 50 plus years. I believe I sound English. All my friends here also love my British accent but I land in the UK and no one knows what I am! Any keep up the good work. I look forward to your next video!💕🇨🇦

Parents settled in Lincolnshire but they sent my sister and I to a private convent school so really don’t have a Lincolnshire accent! My eldest granddaughter loves my accent and recently I flew up to visit them inCanada’s Eastern arctic (Iqaluit, Nunavut) and she proudly invited her friends over to meet me and hear tales of my many adventures!

Hi Ben! Great video! I love your honesty about budgets and current constraints ❤. I love the Q&A but I have to admit my jaw dropped when I saw the question “Are you educated?” 😱. I don’t think it was meant to be rude but there are better ways to ask that question, even though imho it’s not relevant to travel videos.
Hopefully your channel will continue to grow and you can get to tick off your bucket list which btw, sounds exciting! Are you able to drive on ‘the wrong side of the road’?? (My apologies to Americans and Europeans for that terminology!😬)
Where I live we drive on the same side as England and I don’t think I’d ever be able to ‘switch’ easily! I’d become a road hazard so that’s a big no-no. Would be cool to see you do a road trip in the US though!
I love it when you show the different types of food too, and you do show that, so it’s great. I agree with you that we don’t need to see you eating it. I do like watching some channels on food reviews - Gary Eats is my favorite!
