this is a great video. thank you. I just need to get illustrator as i remember working with it and enjoying doing so. I mostly use firealpaca for drawing if not ms paint since illustrator is pretty expensive. I wanna have custom fabric as I like to design custom witch hats and some of my hats will have patterns on the fabric, especially like planets or flowers and stars. so this is a great tutorial and would be a boost for my business

Hi, Affinity Designer is pretty good and one of the only vector softwares on par with AI and it's a one off purchase. Also there's Gravit Designer which has a free version but the Pro version also comes with a subscription however, it's still way cheaper than AI! Hope this helps.

What an inspiration!!! I do love the sample you showed in this video...which fabric did you choose to print your flowers on I like the fabric. My goal since I do not have illustrator is to design stripes that are printed on a 45°..
angle ..in other words...stripes on the bias grain of the fabric...I want to create a bias binding in color stripes that I choose the colors. I don’t own adobe illustrator but I do own an iPad Pro app called Art Studio... I’m not sure you would know this app... I think it is vector. I know I can send it in a TIF, JPG,GIF I don’t think I know how to create the repeat that you speak about....is there a way I can use illustrator without having a computer...which I don’t have... and just sign up for it online and use my iPad? Crazy question I know...🤪. Really any advise is helpful. Thank you, great video, I will watch all your linked videos and subscribe
