@@DisInfluence I just discovered your videos, great work! sad to see that you stopped uploading, I think you should have gotten more subscribers for the work you put in
Putting aside how and why they happened to be there.. could it not be the case that these different groups all happened to be a collection of random parties of people who walked across the lake and fell through the ice? At times only a single member happened to fall through and remain in the depths, and other times numerous members of the same party all fell through in one event likely through failed attempts at rescuing members who fell in before them? Just my thoughts..
I feel awful for the poor victims. Dying in a remote location in a violent way. Not even remembered. I hope scientists and historians can unravel the mystery a little and help these people get some of their humanity back. As intriguing as this is (and I love a good mystery!) I think that we can't afford to forget that these people were fellow human beings, some very far from what may have been considered home to them, who died in violent circumstances. We must remember that.
*There must be a legend associated with that area.* *Perhaps people were looking for spiritual or financially beneficial things there, but a cult in the area had more nefarious plans for those unsuspecting visitors.* *It certainly is an interesting case.*
Certain cold parts of the world have glacial movement. You can find bodies of people who died in one area and move by ice from the place of death to another. I was thinking specifically a story I read of mummies in South America on the side of a mountain. My be these people died higher up the mountain and the forming and melting of ice brought their bodies into the lake.
I always assumed some sort of settlement was near the area where some thieves/bandits lived, and all the skeletons are the victims of robbings and stuff like that
The north eastern tribe called garos word about roopkund which which is past by Thier forefathers, and they have even folklore of roopkund , and and book about roopkund that they stayed there but because of enemy attack and unsuitable soil to farm they have to move on to habitable place which good for crop... I heard that when I travel there ....
Your subscriber numbers are growing fast; a testament to how interesting & well done your videos are. Congrats
Thank you, thank you. Tbh, I am always thinking that about what can I improve after every upload.

7:28 Speaking of which, I've heard that it's apparently pretty common for tourists to walk through, dig through the bones, and take some as souvenirs.
Imagine getting caught with something like that by airport security and having to explain why you have human remains in your luggage 😬

Apparently it is cursed land anyone who crosses it dies brutally.

I love both your content and channel name.
I think they need to analyze more samples with newer methods.

Doesn't happen in Himalayas.

Well, the Greek thing is easy. One of the largest Greek settlements in history was relatively nearby in what is today Afghanistan. (Alexander's crowd)
Yeah except that’s 2000 years too early.
The people from Crete died in the 1800’s
Oh! I have the answer to your question.
Why is this lake full of skeletons?
Because it's awesome.
I don't know why a pretty girl like you would want to cut off all her hair, but I'm sure whatever it is, it will get better.
I just like how shiny my head is now.
How many of these mysteries are there? Are you ever going to run out of things to talk about?
I hope not! That would mean that I covered every mystery in the world and that would be very sad.
@@DisInfluence Well not necessarily. But somehow I think the mystery of what the hell I did with my keys isn't going to be the best viewing.
