I've never felt that the safety chain is holding me back. I buy multiple chains, and when the installed one doesn't feel grabby enough, I file it, then throw it in a cup of gasoline while I rotate to the next one. I have yet to file one down to the wear lines, so I feel like I'm getting my money's worth, and I'm happy about this new 3-pack - although, at this rate, it's going to be awhile before I buy another. I don't know why I would try anything else.
Wow, this is nicely done, even though I don't understand a word of it. Would be great if you or "somebody" would do a series of illustrated repair videos on these Chinese chainsaws. (even better with translation cc subtitles) Hope I never need to replace the rings, yet learned a lot watching this one. I'd especially be delighted to see such a detailed videos on carburetor replacement, and even more, on the function and routing of the various fuel and vent lines. (wildly confusing subject. These Chinese carburetors, esp. the HLiC, involve more tubes, for which there are no english manuals anywhere that I can find....) Maybe you can help us all?
This video will come in handy to watch again if I ever do need to change and clean my piston. But I couldn't understand what you were saying about the piston just after the new one was put in and I couldn't see quite well when the camera had just corner piece looking at it. Other than that I could see everything else pretty good.
