As always, thanks for watching! x
EXCELLENT EXAMPLE of 3 sailors...remaining CALM...figuring out a great solution...executing it...and tying up.
Can't wait to see what was going wrong with the engine.
Guess: More impeller debris stuck in the heat exchanger?
Thanks go DP for being great sailing companions to those in need.
Thanks for this comment!
And I’d wager you’re right about the impeller debris… 😄
I'm glad you got back safely. There are some great people out there to help you. Let us know about the engine.
There really are! I will :)
Well that was an exciting day. Im glad you are okay. Hope you sort that engine out.
Sailors stick together when things go wrong. Good seamanship all round. Wishing your hand a speedy and complete recovery, Hazel! Thanks for another interesting and well-filmed episode. All my best - Chris
Thank you Chris!
Definitely get a windless, it’s horrible hauling chain .
Your friends are like guardian angels.
You have an alternative to a windlass, make yourself a long enough line with a anchor hook to attach to chain. Now use sheet winch to pull chain section at a time, makes a nice manual system. I've had to do when my windlass was down.
That’s a great idea, thank you!
Such great people, glad it went ok ✌️
They really are!!!
That was a nerve wracking day. Thank you Drake Paragon for your assistance. A true example of the brotherhood of the sea. Hope you get that engine figured out Hazel. Thank you for the video update.
Quite the little adventure.....But......all's well that ends well....Someone once told me "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"....😉 Anyhoo, thanks for sharing this very well put together video!!
Indeed it does
Phew! When things go wrong, it happens all at once. You came through it though. Every challenge is a learning experience. Well done for getting through it 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing your experience so we can all learn from it.
It really does! Thanks :)
As a suggestion for next time if ever, keep sailing as far as you can to stabilize the boat. Put a bridle at the bow so that it is easier to let go the towing line if there is still tension into it. Glad to see Paragon crew in action, it has been a while. Cheers
So wholesome and positive
Thank you 😊✨
Wow. That looked scary. We'll done for keeping calm.
Thank you 😁✨
that is so scary oh my god! you're an absolute rockstar though!
edit: now got to the end of the video, glad Drake agrees 😄
Haha, thanks ❤️ it felt like a dramatic sailing moment at the time for sure!
But that engine... what about the engine??
It’s been a bit fickle lately, but I promise usually it works. In the Marina I got a mechanic to come by and have a look at it
Maybe in 2 weeks video...we'll all see the details.
God you not having much luck
I notice that you have an English accent?
I do, somewhat at least. My dad is English so that’s probably where that is from 😄
