Great idea. I actually play far too quiet because of my four children. I´ll look around here in Brussels for it.

I'm making one of these. Good point on replicating the feeling of having a full guitar while using this.

Tis a great idea Scot. I didn't know those guitars could be folded up. I am very lucky with my neighbours. I can play whatever way I want and no complaints, but it would be handy to have a fold up yoke like that for visiting people. Good advice man.

Absolutely a real idea. Unlike a banjo here is no mue for uisr and playing a electric unplugged may be the same?

A *solid body* electric would be the equivalent but for nylon string players we need something like this

Totally agree I have the Yamaha slgn it’s brilliant only one issue you can’t do the double golpe rumba technique 😂

I’ve seen people modify it for golpes, I think I saw Jason McGuire do that in his instagram (great flamenco guitarist)

Great advice! It's an idea I always had in the back of my mind. It was always the question of whether it's worth investing in something more expensive, like the Yamaha you mentioned, or simply getting something that's inexpensive yet built well enough to be a useful practice instrument. This video certainly sold me on the idea of adding one to my collection. Thanks!

I like this (cheaper) one over the Yamaha because it’s much more compact and it still has all the electronics you would want

I'm curious if there are any manufacturers producing carrying cases for these. I managed to acquire a similar item from Hong Kong, but unfortunately, it didn't come with a hard (or soft) case.
I suppose I may need to craft one myself.

I haven’t seen any, the ones I have come with zippered bags but are definitely not going to protect it too much… When I travel with these I usually stuff the bag full of socks and T-shirts that I was going to pack anyway which helps pad everything 😃

I have a Yamaha SLG130NW which is great but it's too long to carry as hand luggage on flights in my country.
I am interested in the Harmonium that you have because it is shorter, I will see if I can find one.
Can I please ask you if it has a full 650mm scale length and full 52mm neck width at the nut?
Thanks so much for this video.

Hi thanks for the comment - I can check the actual measurements when I get home (currently I am on the road but I didn’t bring that guitar!), But I believe it is a standard nut width for classical Guitar; that is, nice and wide
