Great build.. My dad used to have a vespa, around 95-98..And almost same color as this one..thanks for bringing back all those memories. Love from Kerala,India❤
I just found this video, super! I'm Italian and my brother owned a VESPA PX 125, it was the first model with the direction indicators. I think he bought it on Aug 1980. From 1990 to 1996 I used the vespa each day to go to work. Little bit emotional when I listened at the engine at the end of the video. Thank you so much. I'm going to look at the other videos of the channel.
Amazing. In 1984 I was 17 and my friend bought a brand PX while I bought and restored a 1965 GL 150. I remember thinking at the time that mine was ancient! But it was just 17 years old of course. That the PX is 40 years old!! Wow. It brought back so many great memories of my restore, seeing familiar parts. All done in a family shed in the back yard with basic tools and no manual. How I did it I do not know. The GL became my first ever bike. One I took my test on and today I still ride but am now on a Triumph Thunderbird 1600. Great video.Thank you!
Da muss man so manches anfassen.
Excellent work. This is the best engine tear down and rebuild I have seen for the Vespa engine. Fascinating to watch and so different from a regular motorcycle engine. Always been curious about the mechanics of the 'wasp' and all it's secrets were revealed in this excellent video. Thanks for creating and sharing - and bringing new life to old things. Danke!
Good job... nicely done... this is much newer than the one I used to cross North Africa, from Egypt to Morocco in 1966... I had only one spark plug spare and one clutch cable spare... one day I was so tired I fall asleep on the road... woke up driving up and down on the dunes of the desert.
Super Arbeit!
I really enjoyed watching it all your Veapa restoration video, I had one as young man 👨 in karachi Pakistan 🇵🇰 40 years ago, thanks for sharing .AA Slough England 🇬🇧
Amazing memories about 55 years ago as a youth, . I am sure we had more bits left over I bought a seriously old (then) Lambretta LI 150 for £6. I took it back to my (RAF) camp and we stripped it down and rebuilt it . I am sure we had more bits left over than went back into it LOL. All my friends had stripped down (chopped) scooters and we used to go scooter surfing down the main roads at night. This was before you had to have Helmets. Scooter surfing was great fun. Basically you got your bike up to speed put a matchstick into the throttle handle to lock it and then stood up on the running boards and let go the handlebars and road the bike like a surfboard - anybody else remember this craze back in the early 70’s? or am I the only survivor. LOL.
The 80cc variant was popular in Germany because in the 80s there was the possibility to drive this with your normal driver licence. Nowadays it is not possible anymore so you doesn‘t find new 80cc bikes in Germany anymore. This one got a 150ccm Engine because 80ccm is really slow 😅
XD
Wonderful job! The color is perfect....the seat color is nice, but being a light color, stains & scuff marks would be seen...a black seat might have been better...wish you had shown more of the scooter being put through its paces...thanks! 😊
Just go for it, Did that when I was seventeen, probably not that perfect in every detail as shown here, but it is possible. Had no experience at all, I bought it disassembled for 400 DM, only the engine to be complete. The exploded drawings in the "Rollershop" catalogue was all I had to see, where which part belongs to...
I really enjoyed the last 37:12 minutes my friend. That really was a beautiful build. Your customer must have really wanted that... or maybe that is your personal Vespa? You have a beautiful and well equipped shop as well. Danke from America.
I had 1964 B reg GS 160 which I got when I was 16 (now 75) loved it, was just after the height of the mod years, ended up in hospital after guy pulled out on me and bike was not repairable due to down tube crack. This rebuild is a later GS 180 i believe. Older bikes weren't badged Piagio.
I have the highest respect for this level of craftsmanship. Bravo!
Thanks a lot! 💪🏻
This is a gentle, peaceful craftmanship job. That vespa born again. Also loved the color.
Great build.. My dad used to have a vespa, around 95-98..And almost same color as this one..thanks for bringing back all those memories.
Love from Kerala,India❤
40 years old and thanks to your brilliant work, it’s ready for another 40 years. 😁
The attention to detail, the color combination, make this better then new. Well done Sir 👏

The engine sound is iconic. Greetings from Germany 🇮🇹🤝🇩🇪
I never thought I would be saddened by someone restoring something that is 5 years younger than me ;) But this is great to watch! :)

Every single part oozes perfection! The attention to detail is unimaginable had it not been Germany! Massive respect!

What a fantastic job you did on that scooter. Thanks for showing us how it's done :)
🇧🇷
Highest quality of work, well done! Beautiful job.
Klasse Farbe.
Good job... nicely done...

Really ,fantastic restoration, am a fan of Vespa Scooter,Java bike. Thanks a lot for visual resoration...🎉🎉🎉.
I learned to ride one when I was a kid in the early 60’s. Dad had 2. A beat up 150 and a new blue one.
Ohne Musik und Sprache, sehr angenehm! Einblendungen auf Deutsch wären schön. Super gute Arbeit!
Danke für das Lob! 😊
I really enjoyed watching it all your Veapa restoration video, I had one as young man 👨 in karachi Pakistan 🇵🇰 40 years ago, thanks for sharing .AA Slough England 🇬🇧
The colour was an excellent choice - great refurbishment ❤
Boring color and invisible towards dark...
Love the colour.

Bravo! I’m restoring a 1964 VBB 150. Great work! Thank you for the tutorial. I will watch this several more times. Cheers from Florida!!
Esto si es restauración... excelente trabajo!!!
That turned out beautifully and I love the color!
The best among the best !!
Master of restauration. Congrats from Chile.
Oh man the Monet u started it, brings out all the memories. Bravo
Sehr starkes Video.

Happy to see you bring back life to Vespa. In my country we only have px 150 and px 200. Nice to know there is a 80 cc variant ❤
Super work! And super video; relaxing, informative, artfully presented. The bike is beautiful. Bravo 👏
this is the most perfect vespa restoration video that i ever watch🔥🔥🔥 please keep making video like this👍👍
greetings from Indonesia
Thanks a lot!
I had one of these in the period. That is: a P200e. Great machine!
Absolutely outstanding! Not his first restoration!
Complimenti!
My compliments!! I envy your skill!! Great great great!!
Absloutely superb quality workmanship, well done chaps, lovely colour too

Tolles Ergebnis.
Wonderful job! The color is perfect....the seat color is nice, but being a light color, stains & scuff marks would be seen...a black seat might have been better...wish you had shown more of the scooter being put through its paces...thanks! 😊
Great job...looks better than new!!!
Thank you a lot! 😊
Brilliant resto. Better than new!!!!!!
Very good , perfect restoration like a brand new.
I love that these old scooters came with a spare wheel. It's a shame they don't still do that. Get a puncture and you're pushing it home.
What such an amazing job guys. Thanks.
Amazing work, great video and so satisfying to watch. Thanks for sharing. I wish I knew how to make the same to my PX125.
Thanks a Lot! 💪🏻

Piaggio bikes are incredible. Great restoration!

Beautiful. how many memories.
Hut ab, perfekter Job.
Danke dir! Wir geben unser Bestes ❤️🛵
I love this 🙏🏻 Good job guys 🙏🏻
👍👍ganz großes Kino, habe selbst noch ein ganz originale PX 80 auf 136ccm mit erst 4tkm Gesamt-km Bauj 94.
I love the new color solid gray ❤
Super tolle und Perfekte Arbeit!
Vielen Dank! 🙏🏻
Oh wow. A legit restoration project. Not some vespa found in a wet, muddy bog.
Brilliant, wish this place was closer to me!!
Thank you! 🛵
une restauration magnifique !
Superbe restauration !!! 👍👍👍
Thank you 😊🛵
¡¡Buen trabajo!! Fantástica Vespa.. :)
Such excellent work, very impressive!
I liked the color It's easy on the eyes
Nice! I got a PX myself, I need to bring it back to life.
this is a real restoration, not just a new color
Fantastico ! Bravissimo !
Wunderschön!!!
Awesome rebuilt, thx!
Amazing work! ❤👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I owned and restored several Vespas in my late teens in the early 80s, but must say, they are a deathtrap in modern traffic.
Bokap urang baheula boga vespa ieu, jd inget almarhum bapak 🥺
Bravo
Just Perfect!
Love the colour 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
I had 1964 B reg GS 160 which I got when I was 16 (now 75) loved it, was just after the height of the mod years, ended up in hospital after guy pulled out on me and bike was not repairable due to down tube crack. This rebuild is a later GS 180 i believe. Older bikes weren't badged Piagio.
Excellent!
perfect looking like showroom vehicle
Great job guys!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Great restoration job!. I preferred the original colour though.
Bro Exlent work, enjoying video
