I feel like this storm is not talked about enough. One of the most strongest if not the strongest to ever hit the Florida Keys. Dorian and a few other hurricanes rivaled the 1935 hurricane. Thanks for his vudeo🎉🎉🎉

I just found out about this hurricane while doing family research on Ancestry. My cousin, Samuel Emerson, a World War I veteran, was killed in the hurricane. His wife and young son were also killed. I wonder if they could be the mother and son that were blown 40 miles. Do you have the names? His wife was Dolly and his son was Douglas.

I do not know the names from memory, however, I’m certain they could be found in the archives and research I did for this video and for a research paper I did ages ago.
There were so many families decimated by this storm it is incredible to think of how few people know about it.
