Very well ended. The congress is today cannot be compared with the party of 1947. Today they are looking to break up society via caste census, bring in policy paralysis. Honestly in such an important 25 years for India, it is no less than a national security issue and voters must realize that by looking at the situation in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.
These projections are conditional to India sustaining its present groeth till 2047. Dr. Panigrahi is positive about his numbers and let the nation too be positive about India and its dreams.
Very good informative discussion. Frustration of one family can become biggest throne in growth of nation. Unless they are convicted for their wrongdoings in their past they will not give up.
Middle income today is $10K-$25K as per IMF. By 2047, Middle income levels might be revised to $20K-$50K. Today we are at mere $2.5K, If we manage to reach middle income level(ie $20K-$50K) by 2047 it will be great. Today we are stuck in low income trap. Let's start talking about middle income trap once we reach middle income level(ie $20K-$50K) hopefully by 2047.
Our GDP grew by 2.83 times during Manmohan Singh's tenure, which Modi could only double. Even our GDP per capita grew at a faster clip during the UPA decade than it has under the BJP era.
In GDP per capita terms, Bangladesh has increased from 40 % less than India during the last decade to matching that of India. Is the Jahadi government performing better than the Manu Wadi government?
Our trade policies have encouraged China to export to India in the last decade. I wonder if our government is encouraging and following policies that encourage our trade deficit with China to cross 100 Billion dollars.
India needs administrative reforms more than economic reforms,as we are still governed & administrated by the same Bureaucratic structure that made India the poorest state in the world from the second-largest economy we were during the Aurangzeb era.
With a GDP of under $2500 per head and ranking 141 globally, why are we even discussing the middle-income trap at this stage? On ease of doing business, we rank 63rd in the world. Moreover, a decade ago, manufacturing contributed 18% of GDP; today, it has come down to 14 %. The net FII inflow in the country in 2004 was 0.7 % of our GDP, which went up to 1.7 % by 2014. unfortunately, Modani has brought it down to 1.47 % today. In the last decade, when the world followed the China Plus One policy, we missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to boost our Manufacturing output. Why does this propaganda channel not bring out these facts in economic discussions?
China, Russia, Brazil, Argentina are already in middle income and can afford to talk about middle income trap but India have long way to go to reach even that level.
These geniuses are talking with each other like a married couple discussing what name should be given to their baby long before the wife becomes pregnant or even before confirming whether the wife can ever bear a child at all. With the cowbelt states like the U P, the M P and Rajasthan and other states in the north like Bihar, W Bengal and Punjab all with huge populations registering uniformly low GDP growth rates year after year, the country attaining even the Middle Income country status is likely to remain only an aspiration and a dream for decades to come. Hence, it is too early to discuss and worry about the country falling into the so-called "Middle Income Trap"!
Upto 2022 modi government doing double income of farmers, plz gives this scheme data, To hide present situation of country , let's only talk 2047, at present 55% population below age of 25 . What modi country have plan for this at present
India has unique needs
They will provide new homegrown solutions
Don’t underestimate China
They are investing in new technologies a lot more than any other country

It won't become a number game
It is time to have some reservation for talent. Without talent at least at critical ninimum level, competitiveness will be a huge casualty...

Make Rahul Gandhi the PM and all u discuss has no meaning
Congress winning s doom to India
Modi is incompetent and inept when it comes to managing economy..
