I have been into motorcycles all my life and I am 70 years old and I have never seen anyone take the tire off the rim like you just did..... but it makes perfect sense ! when you can get the Rim inside the tire it gives you just enough room to just pull the rim out... no need to try and force the bead over the same side as the other bead... plus you are taking the bead off the easy way each time .... I don't think putting the tire ON that way would be a good idea because of the ease to catch and pinch the tube.... but who knows it might be even better. with a little air in the tube it would tend to stay away from the tire irons.... thank you you taught this old man something new today !
Floats and leaking needle jet. It's so nice to learn by watching what you are doing and so on. I just bought my first bike and doing a restoration project on it. It's a klx650 c1 and somebody transported her to finland so not a bad deal.
Loving the videos man. I'm new to dirt bikes but I've been working on things my whole life. I'm doing a full teardown/rebuild on a 2003 yz250. Your videos are like gold for that. Keep up the good work!
The Petrock / petrol tap was leaking and the floats / forward stroke stopper in the carburettor were not shutting off the fuel hence fuel was continuously flowing into the cylinder head making a rich mixture. Excellent informative videos keep them up. 😆
Love your videos cam. Watch them every time a new video is out. The petcock seal was worn out on one side making loads of fuel going into the carburettor and it made a lot of fuel leak. Which was making the bike run rich and not good. It wouldn’t idle at the proper idle rpms. And the float height wasn’t at its perfect height
Great vid as always love how you go in to detail in all your vids keep all the great work up. And the problem woz that the float bowl needle valve was not working and petcock woz not shutting off and allowing more fuel in.
Damn! You guys get snow early! Its still like 60's here in NY. No wonder I hear northern guys say riding seasons... In like whaaa we ride all year round! Never winterize our bikes.... Lol no time to!
The ttr needs a needle vavle seat in the carb. If i win the sprocket ima see if it fits on my buddys bike because he needs a sprocket so it will be put to use!! Thanks man if u read this, keep up the good work!!!!
I know you cleaned and adjusted carb. And jets were cleaned and clear, but I would highly recommend buying the $5 jets and switching pilot jet to a 17.5 and main to 110. Solves known starting and warming issues, as well will rip more responsive. Stock jets are geared towards emmsions and not performance. Best $15 you can spend on the bike.
my crf450 went from starting in 1-2 kicks to like 10 kicks the moment it started snowing here, i'm gonna have to start bringing it in every night or give it a blanket lol.
The float needle valve has small dirt particles which didn’t allow it to seat correctly, therefore the float wasn’t stopped and gas continues to flow into the engine even with no throttle. Spark plug got soaked and the engine wouldn’t run well, I’m surprised it even started.
Very interesting video, funny, great as usual, with winter coming now, you will make "only" indoor videos, hope that the time will pass faster to the spring, your channel is Great, it's always a pleasure, keep going !
There was too much fuel coming into the carby which was causing the bike to bog because it was getting more fuel than air. This was due to the float needle and seat being damaged/old or worn out which was not stopping the fuel from coming in, this was also causing the carby to overflow. With the lack of a clean air filter to add to the issue the bike was running badly.
the float level was not correctly set, therefore letting too much gas in the engine. Also the valve opener for the fuel was in bad shape if I remember correctly :)
initially it wouldn't rev out due to the needle in the carb wasn't doing its job and the floats werent stopping the gas from flowinv in to the engine, and the fuel tap was leakking due to the seal
The TTR was fine at low revs then as soon as you asked for the throttle it just bogged out and wouldn’t rev, something to do with the carb and the float
The carb was getting too much fuel from the float level being to high and the needle valve wasn't cutting off fuel flow and the petcock wouldn't stop fuel flow to the carb. The bike would idle just fine, but revving it, it was bogging like crazy.
Petcock was leaking fuel when turned off forcing fuel into the carb so you flipped the rubber seal around and it worked, also the float height was wrong
Cameron Niemela got a question if u have time to answer. I have a 06 crf 450r, engine had following work done by a experienced local :new valves, new inner left crank case, new piston, & new water pump seal. After 20ish he’s riding it started smoking and backfiring like no other then wouldn’t start. He adjusted the auto decompressor, and leaked coolant out of the weep hole. So decided to pull motor for him and coolant was in motor. He said head didn’t look warped and crank might have broke a barrings and tore seal. What’s your thoughts? Got over 4K into rebuilding this thing and little hrs on it 😒
The petcock would not completely shut off and the float height was set too high not shutting off the fuel flow which allowed more fuel to enter the engine causing it to bog down
I've personally found the plastic used decades ago was much better than what's used on bikes today.....i have a few bikes that are 40 years old and the plastics have spent their fair time in the sun and yet they still flex and bend with out cracking and aren't brittle
The floats were not correctly positioned in the carb therefor making the engine run too much lean or rich I had a TTR 125 to and the same thing happens but then the engine blew and to fix it it would cost more than the bike is worth so now it sits outside rotting away for the past 4
Hope you are doing well! Have you considered doing a plastics restoration video? Would be nice to see your take on it, may be a how to and how not to do a proper restoration 👍 ruclips.net/video/n5JLhBEcROc/видео.html My Tusk crankcase splitter & puller arrived today, you have definitely been a good advertiser as you give honest reviews, not the first items I have bought on your recommendation either!!! Also love how you started beating the fender against the cart

I use that same ratio converter. I love it. It's so easy to read and use a mixture.
Initially it was the seat cover, plastics and carb. Carb not allowing engine to rev out.
Go and ride on the snow. Its so fun
Loving the videos man. I'm new to dirt bikes but I've been working on things my whole life. I'm doing a full teardown/rebuild on a 2003 yz250. Your videos are like gold for that. Keep up the good work!
Awesome!! Glad to hear you enjoy the videos and are putting them into practice.

Love seeing how you can clean things up, great videos!
Thanks for checking out the videos!!
I'm so happy you watch Ronnie mac he's my fricken hero man
Looks like you had alotta fun breaking the front fender Well Done Brother
Haha I did!
I've notice your editing skills are improving good work
Hey Cam. Float height issue, needle and seat needed replacement....also petcock not sealing but a ghetto fix solved it.
Greetings from Donetsk! It was not work needle valve in carb. Good job! Glad to watch you videos. Thanks!
U and the fender were not friends LOL
Nope I don't like blue fenders haha
Great vid as always love how you go in to detail in all your vids keep all the great work up. And the problem woz that the float bowl needle valve was not working and petcock woz not shutting off and allowing more fuel in.
Ronnie mac would be proud of that front fender !
4:22 love this rage 🤣😅
Damn! You guys get snow early! Its still like 60's here in NY. No wonder I hear northern guys say riding seasons... In like whaaa we ride all year round! Never winterize our bikes.... Lol no time to!
4:32 I thought the same😂👌
Mxrider2stroke Braaap 4:22 is he how to basic 🥚😂
it wasn't reving high it would just stop and act up which you found out it was carb issue!!! love your videos
The ttr needs a needle vavle seat in the carb. If i win the sprocket ima see if it fits on my buddys bike because he needs a sprocket so it will be put to use!! Thanks man if u read this, keep up the good work!!!!

Thanks for the heads up! I'll check into that man
Carb wasn’t getting fuel due to a stuck float valve, sounds like a Chinese moped problem ;) live the vids bro
The problem of the ttr was the carburetor. The needle in the carb was leaking !! :D
the float needle in the carb
love ur vids man
my crf450 went from starting in 1-2 kicks to like 10 kicks the moment it started snowing here, i'm gonna have to start bringing it in every night or give it a blanket lol.
Carb float and needle, also petcock was leaking but you turned the seal over and it fixed it
How's that pellet stove work for the garage? Heat it up pretty quick once you crank the thermostat?
I love your videos man! I feel the quality :D Nice job!
Thanks!!
Love your videos , watching from Spain!
Thanks!
I love winter just means I get to ride my sled to hockey and play some outdoor games lol
Dude, hope you took out all your frustration on that Ronnie Mac fender! Feel better?
Nice video man!
And you are the best RUclipsr in the world
Thank You!
just got a utility cart i love those things.
When in the high rpm zone the engine had feeding issues because the float valve did not work properly making the mixture very rich.
The float needle valve has small dirt particles which didn’t allow it to seat correctly, therefore the float wasn’t stopped and gas continues to flow into the engine even with no throttle. Spark plug got soaked and the engine wouldn’t run well, I’m surprised it even started.
Float height was messed up, and the peacock valve was "looked like a Chinese one" lol. @Cameron Niemela
Fuel petcock gasket wasn’t sealing it shut so it was constantly sending fuel to the carburetor and the the float needle wouldn’t seal right.
Your edits used to be so bad😭 now there gooood
Bad petcock and the float height was way off in the carb allowing fuel to constantly pour in
Great video keep up the good work man👍👍👍
Thanks!
Needle valve seat and fuel petcock was leaking but a quick turn of the seal fixed that.
Hey Cameron I have been eyeing that pressure washing cabinet I was wondering where you got it thanks👍
I built the pressure wash cabinet actually. Not sure if anyone makes something similar.
The fuel injector gasket thing under the gas tank you flipped it and it stopped the leaking in the hose.
Overflow issue in carb, caused by the float level, the air filter, and the fuel switch was leaking
The floats in the fuel bowl we're probably sticking and we're letting too much fuel in, also the petcock valve was leaking.
There was some carb issues. The floaters didn't work so the engine would get flooded. I want that sprocket
Very interesting video, funny, great as usual, with winter coming now, you will make "only" indoor videos, hope that the time will pass faster to the spring, your channel is Great, it's always a pleasure, keep going !
Thanks for watching! Yeah safe to say I'll be spending most of my time out in the shop this winter.
The floats were stuck in the carburetor and pouring gas out the overflow. Also the gasket inside the gas valve on the tank was leaking.
The ttr was not idling properly and when you gave it throttle, it would not rev properly due to the carb float.
Hey what's up man your garage is great. Ad love a set up like that keep up the good work . How often do u change your pitbike oil
Thanks for watching! I'd guess about every 15 hours.
Love your vids keep up the good work

With the lack of a clean air filter to add to the issue the bike was running badly.
The carburator float level was off. So it could idle but it was getting weird when you gave it gas
@Cameron Niemela The needle seat was worn out and u had to buy a new on it also kept feeding to feul and making the engine run rick
the float level was not correctly set, therefore letting too much gas in the engine. Also the valve opener for the fuel was in bad shape if I remember correctly :)
Wasn't the gas petcook or fuel shut off valve leaking and the carbarator needle not sealing properly were the gas comes in
i know it is 4 years later but where can i find a plastics kit for a 2005 ttr
Hope this thing looks sweet
initially it wouldn't rev out due to the needle in the carb wasn't doing its job and the floats werent stopping the gas from flowinv in to the engine, and the fuel tap was leakking due to the seal
The float height!!
The TTR was fine at low revs then as soon as you asked for the throttle it just bogged out and wouldn’t rev, something to do with the carb and the float

The floats was not in the right position, which was letting too much gas in, some cases if its bad then it will let gas in non stop
Petcock was leaking fuel when turned off forcing fuel into the carb so you flipped the rubber seal around and it worked, also the float height was wrong
that 2015 SJ tho😍
Going on a ❤️ spree lol love the vids man. You got a awesome job brah
Thanks dude!

Cameron Niemela and cam chain,I noticed it was leaking oil in some of the new gasket areas.
The carb floats where not set up right and the fuel tap was leaking lots of fuel into the carb as it wouldn’t shut off
The float valve was toast and it sas bogging the engine plus almost no air going coming from the air filter from its very bad shape
Nothing better than Ronnie
The petcock would not completely shut off and the float height was set too high not shutting off the fuel flow which allowed more fuel to enter the engine causing it to bog down
The thing that was wrong on the ttr was the petcok and float valve
the fuel float valve was allowing fuel through when the float was up, Also the fuel tank petcock was leaking when switched off
The problem was that the carburettors float needle wasn't doing its job and it was flooding the engine with fuel.
The tank peacock and caborator nidle valve problem
I remember you said something was wrong with the floats.
I hope I can take a third guest but it is the needle valve it wasn't stoping the fuel from coming into the carb making gas come out the over flow
I've personally found the plastic used decades ago was much better than what's used on bikes today.....i have a few bikes that are 40 years old and the plastics have spent their fair time in the sun and yet they still flex and bend with out cracking and aren't brittle
Same here, I have an old DT175 rotting in the backyard and its plastics are fine
The carb had float problems and it would not idle also the Petcock was leaking.
Love you're vids dude keep it up
😏👌
GaMer ExposEd your*
I like the gopro parts of the video you should do more project videos with the gopro on.
Thanks! It's been working out pretty good so far.
HEY BRO...WHERE DO BUY THAT SCISSOR JACK...??? TNKS....
Wasn’t Reving above half way due to carb issue
Do you make more money parting bikes out, or selling them complete??
Bikes are worth much more in parts.
Yamaha 2002 ttr 225 I need plastics and graphics where to buy them thanks cam
the needle would not seal causing gas to leak and this caused the floats to mess up as well, hence making the bike run badly
Where did you get your plastics?
Laughed my ass off when you beat the shit out of that fender
jetting and carb and float, i think plastics or seat or something aswell
What are your plans with the ttr?
The floats were not correctly positioned in the carb therefor making the engine run too much lean or rich I had a TTR 125 to and the same thing happens but then the engine blew and to fix it it would cost more than the bike is worth so now it sits outside rotting away for the past 4
Leaky patrol tap u turned the seal around and it stopped leaking
Hope you are doing well!
Have you considered doing a plastics restoration video? Would be nice to see your take on it, may be a how to and how not to do a proper restoration 👍

Bead Buddy, tyre irons, Cable Lubber and can not to forget Scotchbrite wheels & pads (I know you have shares in Scotchbrite) 😂
Quick question? what lense do u use for ur 80d? is it just the kit lense or something elce?
Canon 18-135mm. Sort of kit lens
What tyre spoons do you use ?
