40 year old TV is the greatest new thing on the internet
Something about the footage quality is very calm and soothing. Plus a lot of talk shows were very low key back then ; not a bunch of colors blasting out at you in 1080p like rn.
Hank had what you could call "Confident Modesty."
"I didn't get there quick enough!" LOL.
On the low he was a no show
Humble and a true hero.
Hank was such a national treasure
An excellent interview involving two of my favorites. I miss you Hank and hope you're enjoying your birthday today in a better place.
Hank and I have the same b-day...
Scoop Letterman did a superb job, and who can't like Aaron!
Hank Arron was the man. So humble
Real life superhero.
This is... living again, Dave. Thank you.
Legends!
Fun interview!
Still the homeowner leader as far as I'm concerned.
Hank seemed like he was a great guy with a great sense of humor. Didn't take himself too seriously! As a player, he was a blue collar guy. He punched in, worked has az off, punched out and did it again the next day for years! That resulted in 755 HR's! No matter what profession, he proved if you just work your az off everyday, you will be respected and maybe even adored for your efforts after you have a body of work! RIP Hank.🙏✝
He never struck out more than a 100 times in a season
Welllll Pete was a fantastic hitter. One of the best. But Hank was clearly a notch above that. The Hammer might be the best ever. RIP Henry.
Whoever said a ballplayer shouldn’t be looked at as a hero forgot about Henry Aaron
lol "I don't make as much money as Pete"
That Al Albert bit was really clever
I wonder who the 9 writers were that didn’t vote for Aaron. Also what their justification was for not voting for Aaron
Simply the BEST 👌 Tina Turner 👌

Awesome guy. It’s sad that David letterman and Hank are no longer with us
I don't think that Dave would be too happy that you said he's already dead because he's still very much alive.
@@montrealsports29 I agree - he would be sad. In a way, it's good that he has passed so he doesn't have to be.
Uh David letterman having a long beard doesn’t mean he’s dead dude
Back when David Letterman was still clever
Pete Rose will never be in the Hall of Fame
They'll put him in after he dies.
If you really understand the context of this interview and what was going on (which I don't fully) then this will blow your mind.
Hank seems to be cocky and charismatic bus also funny and soft.
