You took it off-road and gave it an easy time. You should of really put it through its paces on our British pot holed roads. Might be just what you need for popping to the shops.
I work at Isuzu Struandale plant Port Elizabeth...I do Maintenance on the Robotics in Body shop...Good to see a thorough test of the Artic and what it is capable of!
Fabulous video Ped! The Isuzu looks fantastic in the AT35 setup considering the amount of rain we’ve been having and the amount of flooding on the roads it might be the perfect daily
Epic! Just epic truck Sir Pete! This truck review was right up my alley! So cool to see ya do a review like this. Loves all the emotion in the video! I’d love to have one of these.
What a great bit of kit that truck is. I wonder which off roader between that and the Defender you would have? I used to run an Isuzu Trooper from the Mull of Kintyre Scotland to Dover and back with a trailer to pick up generators from the Del Monte ships for refurbishment as a favour for a friend as he knew I loved driving and it was a real joy to just sit and cruise up the Motorways and could easily haul the two tons without any bother. I have a real soft spot for that marque. I do like the roof tent.
Ah now your are talking my kind of wheels. The AT35 is a little over the top but very desirable. My sort of country sees more loose stony surfaces and sand (can be very dry) to deal with. Range is also important too and perhaps a trip to Wales could find different conditions to play in. You haven't mentioned cost (I think) compared with the toys you play with ie. Boxters, top end Land Rover products etc. More of these practical work horses please. Off road can be good fun and you can still exceed the speed limit in these wagons as well... what more can you need. Cheers from OZ and thanks again.
Great vid👍😊. I live in Norway , around 50 km from the Arctic Trucks facilities. Previously owned 2 Hilux's AT37 and one Isuzu Dmax AT35. Now you can get Isuzu with AT37 package here😃. Great trucks but the 1.9 ltr engine, 163 hp/360 nm, is not quite up to the task, Hilux with 2.8 ltr and 205 hp/500nm is way better engine wise. But Isuzu Dmax is the most popular AT here, its cheaper than the Toyota.
Interesting you say about not being bothered about having the manual for the road driving. Guess the reason we all prefer manual is for the control it gives us in the environment the vehicle was designed to really excel in. Are you and Tracey going to get one for some adventures?
Great video, and the Isuzu is one hell of a machine 👍🏻 I’m not 100%, but where you went off roading, I’m sure I did a trail race a few years back🤔 Is it old gravel pits???
Ha ha Extreme test track...used to do worse than that in Series 2 Landrovers. They might even take this comment off...Because my wife bought one of these...here in Eastern Poland.....after the local branch of Arctic Trucks had delivered her AT 35 (Orange)........about 2 weeks later a truck turned up at the gate with a pallet on board..??? We hadn't ordered anything?? Opened it up and there were 4 alloy wheels and tyres, 2 coil springs, 2 leaf springs and lastly 4 shocks. I will bet that the UK Artic trucks people nick all the stuff and sell it on??? Poland is a very honest country. (I,m originally from Banbury...what a co-incidence).
Excellent video, wouldn't expect a truck to be that capable, in amongst all the beeps though you did forget to bleep out the "fk'inell" though that slipped out when you started the First Extreme Test 😂
Is this venue open to the public Pete if so where is it that truck looks absolutely amazing and the mechanicals are bulletproof unlike the ranger raptor could you let me know the address please I would love to go there
That looked a lot of fun and what a Beast of a Truck, but I wished you could have turned off the Morse Code Beeping, that was really annoying Peter, that spoiled the video a bit for me to be honest, sorry.😞
They actually went to the Magnetic North Pole, not the North Pole - at the time it was in the Canadian Arctic. Arctic Trucks do make more extreme pickups, you can buy a Hilux AT37.
"If you go out of your lane in this thing you will go over the top..ha har ha", or words to that effect . This is a public road and you go on about your road safety skills. Think about what you said here Pedro. That was appalling. I come from Australia and these things are everywhere and the attitude is the same. The worst actively aggressive behaviour on our roads is from lifted and typically poorly maintained vehicles. It's it's lifted give it a wide birth and avoid overtaking the fragile ego behind the wheel if you can possibly avoid it. Seems the disease has made its way to the UK

😂😂😂
A good friend of mine bought an Arctic Trucks HiLux last year....but a complete oneoff build. Awesome kit
Nice 👌
Isuzu make brilliant vehicles.
Have found memories of an old trooper
Beats the Land Rover range.
Take that Ford, Land Rover and Grenadier! Isuzu is a great brand. These 35's and AT35 setup suit the car just right! Great video again!
Thanks 🙏🏻
That beeping would kill me !
Why not just switch the parking sensors off?😂
There's a big button to turn them off😅

That thing is an absolute off-road Beast, Pete!
Sure is 👍

Absolutely 👍

Yeah. Loved making this one 👌

I would have loved to take the Defender to that proving ground 👍
I enjoyed watching the Video. A great looking Truck 😊
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Though the North pole to the SouthPole in a modified Nissan Aryia was interesting. Especially as its base design isn't even as an off road vehicle.
Spent yesterday driving the Ariya in Finland. Very impressive 👌

Fantastic vid, really enjoyed that one.A great truck and very nicely filmed too.More like this please.
Thanks, will do!
Great video something completely different wasn’t expecting this 👍 the D-Max here in Australia are quite popular people who own them really love them
Glad you enjoyed it!
Greeting Sire, let ye all off road in thee slush of British weather 🙂🙂👍🇬🇧
Just wonderful. 😎.
Many thanks!
Love that roof rack!!! What make is it?
Cheers mate
My friend has a oneoff Arctic Trucks HiLux about a year old. Its awesome

Are you and Tracey going to get one for some adventures?
Great to see proper off roading. You can keep the tent, nowadays I go for the hotel!
Good choice!
Not me because I will buy a fully loaded Isuzu D-Max AT35 anyway.
Very cool
So tell us then Ped, did you enjoy the day? Because you hid your emotions well...
😂 😂
Yeah…it was a tough day at the office 😂
Ummmmm ....those that own one call it a TRUCK, well at least here. This is your best video for me in a loooooong time.
Great to hear 👍
My current D-Max came from Crawford, very good to deal with 👍
Nice 👍
Evening all! Hope everyone is doing well and have a great weekend.
Hey there!
I can imagine that young Tracey has not encouraged you to get one as a daily driver….the tent would not be her style!! 😃😃😃😃
You know her well 😂
Great video, and the Isuzu is one hell of a machine 👍🏻
I’m not 100%, but where you went off roading, I’m sure I did a trail race a few years back🤔
Is it old gravel pits???
Sweet machine, just missing a couple of Michelin men mounted on it for a more beefy rugged look 😀
That would be cool!

I would have no use for one of these, but I would love to own one just for the fun value.
Exactly 👍
The Icelandic would be my choice. Didn’t know Isuzu built the specs from the boat. 👍👍🇬🇧
I’d love an AT-35
Me too 👍
That's better than my kitchen!
😂😂😂

Oops 🙊
@@PetrolPed ah it's refreshing 😂 too much QC online and RUclips's DMCA etc lol
great video, that's some proper truck
It sure is!
See plenty of the izuzu trucks here and some really classic old pick ups
How does the sink handle parking on a slope?
Not well 😂
Really cool
A brilliant vehicle for someone who doesn’t really care about the atmosphere!! Should be nice for camping in, but not for me, thanks!!
It’s a Euro6 clean diesel 🤷♂️
But it is for me because I will buy a fully loaded Isuzu D-Max AT35 anyway

Here you go 👍

That looked like ace fun :) :)
It was 👍
Great truck and great intro.
Thanks 👍
Did you really camp out?? How was room service??
No. It was freezing 🥶
Ok, nice video and a great car. But, no mention of the price for this complete set up.
Sorry. It’s around £73k
Looks like the ultimate boys toy still should have gone down that dip to prove it's versitilty off road 👍
Not without a winch 😬😜
How about tractors next. 😊
Watch this space 👍
1. How much ? 2. I would choose a bit of level ground to camp on if I were you. Great fun though !
I managed to find a 7 year old one today, for £30k.....
They start at 60k though+the back+the tent+ the kitchen.
That looked a lot of fun and what a Beast of a Truck, but I wished you could have turned off the Morse Code Beeping, that was really annoying Peter, that spoiled the video a bit for me to be honest, sorry.😞
A Lot of fun ,, Me like
👍
Close, but no cigar!! I like the look of this vehicle, but I don’t think I’ll ever have one because it’s not electric!!
And I am happy because I will buy a fully loaded Isuzu AT35 anyway.
Hi all
Hi 👋
Hi Peds
Hi 👋
Ped, no snorkel?
Nope 👎
They actually went to the Magnetic North Pole, not the North Pole - at the time it was in the Canadian Arctic. Arctic Trucks do make more extreme pickups, you can buy a Hilux AT37.
The government u-turned on that recent legislation, so all is good again! 😊
And this vehicle is awesome!! 🦾😎
@@MrCreamPyegood point, have deleted that bit!
Hello mate
Hi 👋
You would never sleep on that slop. Rookie error. Look at the off rd set up here in Australia.
You are right. I didn’t sleep on that slope 😂
Try a Rivian EV
Hi
Hi 👋
How could you put up with that stupid beeping noise.
Camping would be better on a level surface Ped
Yep 👍
Boys and their toys…lol
Yep 😂
😆
Powerpack
Bloody big lump lol

I was called humour. Clearly I wasn’t being serious. Obviously went straight over your head 🙄
Beep beep beep so annoying....turn it off!
What a shame that the govt back tracked on taxing these pickups the same as cars.99% of these vehicles are bought as a tax dodge.
