It almost feels full circle. I think the first time I became aware of the Try Guys was years ago during one of the summer breaks Rhett and Link would take and have other people host an episode and they had the Try Guys come on. Or they might have been regular guests? Idk... but I know it was through GMM that I was introduced to the Try Guys lol.

I never thought two chaotic personalities mashed together would work so well. They're both so chill but insane it's like taking hard drugs just to read an encyclopedia

Got to roll my eyes at people objecting to KFC using leftover chicken for their pot pies. Ask any home cook and they will tell you leftover chicken is perfect for gumbo, pot pies, tetrazini or any chicken based comfort food. Heck, do a whole chicken right (or get a pre done rotisserie bird from the grocery store) and you can get multiple meals and damn good chicken stock from one bird.
ffs just like Wendy's uses leftover patties and chop them up to use as the meat in their chili. Is that really so gross?? It's waste management and recycling!!
And then if they didn't use the leftover chicken they'd complain that they're throwing it away

Sometimes leftovers taste better the following day. And I often use leftover cooked salmon for quiche. It works well if you have a fridge/freezer. If you don't, then probably not a good idea.
Chicken salad, too, surely no one is using fresh chicken for chicken salad... there's a million uses for a rotisserie chicken and lord does it save time.
I LOVE that Keith said "it's not garlic" when Josh contemplated a palm-heel-strike on the chicken...he knows. He knows.

So when are Keith and Josh going to have a whole series together. They vibe really well. Think Try guys food fears would be a fun mini series as well. 10/10 Great episode

The KFC Pot Pie is a hidden national treasure. My family used to literally count the days until this seasonal item would show up on the menu every year.
I worked at a KFC as a teenager and had a pregnant woman break down and cry because we didn't have them

I worked in a KFC/Tacobell for 2 years. Idk if this is how it is for all KFC places, but at the end of the day, any left over chicken that wasn't sold was shredded, and bagged to like 1lb. Given a color coded sticker to correspond with the day, and tossed in the fridge. Next day i would take a bag of chicken, not normally from the previous day, but a few days prior, and pour it into a pre made pot pie mixture, measure it in the pot pie tin, and place a premade crust on the top. After that it would go in the fridge and stay until we needed to cook them. Wed have trays of these ready to cook Pot pies just waiting to go back into the oven. My location normally had 3 cooked up at the start of the day, and when wed get to 1 left, we'd pop in another tray of three. Once they were done theyd go in a warming container. Honestly if there were left over pot pies when we closed, I ate one. We cant save fully cooked pot pies for next day, so they were gonna get thrown away.
My mom and I actually like to buy KFC pot pies and freeze them for when we don't feel like cooking, they really are super delicious. Also this was definitely one of the most entertaining videos I've seen.

This explains why I (a long time Try Guys fan) discovered only recently that I love watching the Mythical Kitchen channel. Josh’s energy and Keith’s (and really the rest of the guys too for anyone who watched Without A Recipe Cinnamon Rolls) are so similar and synergistic. Josh really needs to hang out with the Try Guys more often

one of my favorite things is watching these videos with the subtitles on, because who or whatever is transcribing them CANNOT keep up, and it's just stream of conciousness madness.

This episode introduced me to the Try Guys and I've been addicted to their stuff and had to come back and rewatch this one and just comment on how awesome (not only) was this guest appearance, but how awesome both of these great channels are for providing such genuine entertainment that always makes me smile!

Josh said “brown powder” and I didn’t even question it. My brain just said “Yeah, brown powder” it wasn’t until someone off camera clarified what it actually was that I realized “brown” isn’t an herb or a spice.

Zach has so many dietary restrictions that I'd love to see Josh make a fancy meal that Zach would be able to fully enjoy. And I'm pretty sure Josh's energy would scare Zach and that'd be fun to see.
And Ned... well... he and Ariel have a cookbook, it'd be fun to see Josh fancify one of those recipes with Ned just for fun lol.
I'm not sure how well Josh and Zach would present on camera. They're both verbal ramblers. No one would understand what was being said!
I think Josh would completely overwhelm Ned. Ned needs a space to talk and Josh barely pauses. It would be amusing to watch, though!

The goat in a trash bag story reminded me of my first job at a restaurant/bar as a dish washer when the Greek family that owned the place kept their whole skinned goat for a big Easter spit-roast in the back for half the day.

Making a pot pie with Thanksgiving leftovers is one of my favorite things ever! I just use the leftover turkey and gravy, make a pie crust, throw in some potatoes and veggies and yum!
I was a ketchup sandwich kid, too. My brother, sister, and I would raid the spice cabinet to Doctor it up! Hot sauce, garlic salt, etc. it was horrific. 😂
