That doctor will never admit he’s wrong. I would contact a Lyme disease expert and get a recommendation for who to see in Alaska.
Same! I would also do a parasite cleans. So many health problems are caused by parasites.
Yes I'm sure you know much more about Lyme disease than your doctor does. He most likely knows next to nothing about it, that's what it sounds like. I would definitely give up on him and find someone who deals with that disease in Alaska.
Yes primary care MDs are few and far between that even believe in Lyme disease. I have been through this whole process and as a nurse I was very ashamed at how the medical field make people feel about their disease. And since Covid it is even worse. I was lucky to have a holistic MD who started my care but it still took years to get to the bottom of it all.
Tina i will do the test get results, them get the records and move to another doctor for better help.
@rondar960 I am a retired RN too and yes, since covid I'm very ashamed of the medical industry. I am happy I'm no longer attached to it. I'm upset with my pri.ary care doctor for wanting us to take the poison shot but neither I nor my husband would. So happy now that we didn't though many in our family did. I warned my family against it but half the kids took it anyway. My husband's daughter works for Cooks Children's hospital and they mandated her to take it so she did. Also my older daughter thought I was crazy and took the shots as soon as she could. So far everyone is OK but we know they are ticking time bombs.
I lost faith in medical doctors in 2020. I think they are brainwashed in medical school and it’s hard to change their minds. I would see if there is a Lyme disease specialist somewhere nearby.
My personal experience with doctors made me resort to eating a no sugar, low sodium, no processed foods, and as organic as possible, diet. I was taking medicine for diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. For the last year, I have been off all prescription meds. I use foods for medicine and it has worked for me. By the way, I refused the Covid shot. I was exposed several times but never got the virus. I am 77 years old and feel better than I have in years. 💕🙏🏼
I am a Lyme disease survivor. You are 100% correct. My recovery was due to being blessed with the right people on my team. Don't give up.
This is what is wrong with many doctors in this country. They do not listen to their patients and think they know it all based upon medical degree. So annoying. Glad you are advocating for yourself. Ugh. Praying for you!

I am so sorry your doctor's response was terrible. I hope the second round of testing provides the answers the doctor needs! If not, maybe it is time to find a new primary care doctor. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Wow Tina. You’re not alone in things like this these days. It’s sad is what it is. A darn shame that we have to fight for what we know is right. I’m to trying to see the good in people that are supposed to help you when all they do is say you’re wrong. I’m so sorry. You’re super strong my friend. You’ve got this! If you’re not happy. Probably need to consider changing PCPs. I always told my patients they need to feel comfortable with their primary and have good communication with them. Nothing wrong with "shopping around." It's incredibly important when something is impacting your quality of life in a significant way. You're strong Tina, you'll get through this. Dock looks awesome. Has Parker every gotten a leach on him? UGH.
I worry that their insurance or location in Alaska may have them locked in to certain medical practices.
@@saravaneerde6164 Usually with insurance you have "in network" providers. You can shop within that group.
It is sad that the medical community does not want people well. Most want your insurance/ money. It's disgusting! To you, Tina, and family, may the Lord bless you and keep you always. Keep walking in FAITH. God is faithful! Nothing is impossible for those who believe. ❤
Nothing beats a holistic doctor! I had a routine colonoscopy about 10 yrs ago. I had 26 polyps. At a follow up appt the doctor suggested doing surgery to remove that section of the colon ( keep in mind they were not cancerous). I immediately found a holistic doctor who has treated me ever since. I now have ZERO polyps with his treatments!! Stick with your holistic doctor who immediately knew what your issue is! ❤

Hi Tina, Joe and Parker, hope you’re feeling better Tina from the last video. What a beautiful day there the wild flowers are so pretty. Little dock on the pond will be nice and handy for swimming for Parker and the dogs. That’s the problem doctors don’t believe in the holistic way at all, I have the same problem here. It’s a shame, both sides could really help in a big way if they could work together. I think the natural way is fantastic. I keep my sugar in check the natural way and it works good. People that are Celiac, need to get new cooking pots and utensils, etc, etc, etc.... and be super more careful with cross contamination and so forth.
For the gluten sensitive, none of that is needed. Just to avoid eating gluten.
I am super duper, gluten sensitive. My step-daughter is Celiac.
It is a big change at first, but then it will be a lot easier and becomes automatic.

Tina my husband kept having diarrhea and losing weight. He lost 60 lbs in 6 weeks. After a few months I threw a tantrum in the doctors office and told them something had to e done. He never did the stool sample test but said he didn’t have C-Dif. I requested the stool sample and it came back positive. He put him on strong antibiotics for 2 months. The doctor apologized to me and my husband is a much better man. Stick up for yourself because they are humans not God as some of them think. I have 100% confidence in you girl. Love you and your family

Tina, I'm assuming you have military insurance, Tricare. We have Tricare Prime, when we've had medical problems with doctors, or techs giving tests we've immediately contacted Tricare (our insurance), and explained the situation. They immediately sent us to someone else. Maybe calling your insurance company would help the situation. Just a thought.
I'm proud of you for standing your ground with this doctor. Don't let him intimidate you in any way. You know something is medically wrong because you haven't been feeling well. You have the blood workup, and tests from your Natural Medicine Doctor. It will be interesting to see what results the Alaska doctor comes up with. I'd compare the results from both doctors. Keeping you in my thoughts, and prayers.

I have Hashimotos Hypothyroiditis and Celiacs. and would like to give you some advice. The first is that if your doctor isn't on board and not working with your other doctor, he never will. You honestly need to find another doctor and leave him because he will not work for you but against you.. I was diagnosed by my gyno of all places, I was having hellish periods. I was given thyroid medicines immediately and sent to a endocrinologist. I was told that upon filling my medication to only fill the brand name not generic, because each manufacturer has a slightly different process and recipe and that difference can affect my thyroid. The last is after cleaning your system of the gluten you will feel any trace amounts of gluten in your guts so it is that important to get rid of it all. Mrs Tina I know this is hard and over whelming but you'll get there as you said baby steps and you'll know your gluten sensitivity as you said everyone's tolerance is different. I'm super exhausted all the time, so if you figure out how to eliminate that and the brain fog please share. Until then hang in there sweetie, we love ya
As an ER nurse, I was not surprised at this Dr.s reaction. Sorry to say that I have seen this a majority of the time. Keep searching for a Dr. that is open and willing to discuss integrative medicine- I know you are limited with your location. I now seek alternative and holistic treatments whenever possible. It is embarrasing to be a part of this profession at times, especially since 2020. I have a child who has been permanently damaged by "medical treatment" and that has opened my eyes to the pitfalls of Western medicine. I applaud you for taking the alternative path and healing yourself. I would recommend watching Justin Rhodes channel as he has chronic Lyme and discusses his journey and treatments often. I wish you all the best on your healing journey!

I always go to a DO instead of an MD. Because DO's accept natural remedies.
CHICKPEA BREAD -2 c chickpea flour, 3/4 c club soda, 1/2 tbs yeast, 1 tbs sugar, 1/2 tbs xantham gum, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 1/4 tsp baking soda,3 egg separated,1/3 c oil, mix all dry ingredients together, now add oil, yolks and club soda, whip egg white to stiff peaks and fold into chickpea mixture pour into your bread pan, allow to rise but just a bit above the top of the pan takes about 1 1/2 hours. bake from a cold oven to 350 when the bread's internal temp reaches 190 remove takes about 50 min. when done remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 min on rack then remove from the pan and allow to cool. texture is similar to white bread. (either grease pan or use a parchment I use a ceramic pan if the bread starts to get too dark tent it with tin foil until done. this can also be used for buns I use an ice cream scoop, scoop place into the pan side by side once bake at 350 f. Once they reach 190 internal they are done.
Tina at the time that I was diagnosed with Diabetes I was so devastated. That was 2 years ago at 77 years old. Never been sick except for minor things. Went to doctor once a year for my annual. It was so hard to accept. Total life style change at an advanced age. I was so down. A friend said to me, you never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. How true. So I put on my big girl panties and have adjusted so much in my life but all is well. In January 2024 I had surgery for melanoma. Again I’m dealing with it. I’m so sorry about all you are going through. But be strong and don’t let anything or anyone win. Kick butt and stand tall. You are awesome and one of God’s children. He’s always there for you and me.
Tell Joe to screw a block of wood onto the top of the posts to hammer them in. The block gets the damage instead of the post. Then you remove the block when you're done!

Hi Tina like many have suggested find another doctor. Medical care is about listening to patients & a partnership if the doctor was so dismissive. It’s clearly a sign to look for another.

TIME TO FIND A NEW DOCTOR! I hate doctors that don't listen to patients! I'm a person who is allergic to many medications, so I do natural remedies when possible. When you look for a new doctor ask them how they feel about natural treatments. Best wishes on your medical condition, hopefully things get better.
You need to FIRE your doctor. He is definitely not on your side. Unfortunately, most doctors have this I'm much better and smarter attitude, and how dare you question me and my abilities. You need to find a doctor that talks with you and not at you.
These doctors are just awful. It's just a way to make money. Keep the people sick brings in more money. I'm sorry you have to deal with it. Just makes me mad. I seriously hate the health care system

If it's like Ireland its impossible to get a new doc. Docs are now the same the world over unfortunately. Ivwould rather not go at all to my local doc and just attend the hospital
@@lorrainebrady4814 I just changed PCP it was a pain but I am glad I did. it sad to me as someone who works in health care. no one should have to go through this. Herbalist and PCPs can work so well together and make a word of different to a patient.
@lorrainebrady4814 Here in the United States we can change doctors whenever we like. however being in AK I'm sure her options maybe limited. it also can depend upon the insurance they have and what providers are available in their insurance network.

My daughter is gluten free as she has celiac disease and she has figured it out. It did take time but it can be done and you don’t have to use two sets of pans that’s crazy. She doesn’t and she is totally fine. You will get there it’s trial and error. Best wishes!
Tina, as a healthcare professional, I am concerned about one of your diagnoses. You said you were diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism. This can be cause for severe anxiety among other symptoms. Also next time you need labs from a naturalist, bring the orders to your primary care provider, if the will not order them then it is time to seek another provider.

I had a tragic brain injury and all the doctors kept telling me that they didn't know what was my problem until I paid for everything thing myself and then the doctor finally said they had done all they could and said that there was nothing more they do finally got connected with a doctor in the VA health care system and that is the only place that I can go when my constant headache gets so bad and none of the regular medication doesn't work
If you don’t feel comfortable being able to have a conversation with your doctor I think it’s time to consider getting a new one. By the way you described your appointment with him it didn’t sound like he is willing to have a conversation with you and keep an open mind to what you are saying/feeling. Sounds to me like he would rather be in a peeing match over right and wrong!
Although not necessary, it’s pretty common for doctors to run their own tests. I have no idea why. It’s almost like they don’t trust other labs. I have pancreatitis. Since Memorial weekend I have had 4 sets of blood tests. Emergency room over Memorial Weekend in Maryland, Family doctor in Florida ordered more tests, Results indicated I needed to go to the emergency room who ran more tests. Their tests were not conclusive so they sent me home with a recommendation to see a Gastroenterologist who has scheduled more blood work. I feel like a pin cushion. I hope you do not need to convince your doctor after his tests come back positive. He needs to specifically ask for the Lyme disease test. Hang in there sweet Tina.

Tina, I truly believe that God has provided everything we need to heal ourselves. We have just gotten lost by being misled by big pharma! I don’t know if I could deal with an MD that wouldn’t work with holistic healing. Still praying for you 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼

Tina, it will take you up to 6 months to go completely gluten free. And, my family eats what I eat, very rarely do they eat regular gluten. My husband does, it’s bread because he takes a sandwich everyday for lunch, other than that, everything else is gluten free. And, once you get the hang of it, it’s easy. When you go out to eat, ask for a gluten free menu. On Facebook and instagram, there are many groups to join to help you. You are going to have no issues at all. I have a lot problems, Hashimoto’s is one of them. I take something for it, I’m allergic to wheat, and I have cut my sugar and carbs way down. That has helped my thyroid tremendously! I’m praying for you, Tina❣️🙏🏻
So many of us leave our doctors feeling less than satisfied. It’s infuriating that want to do their own tests now, after you begged for help all this time. Wishing you luck on getting them to help you.
I don’t know how easy or difficult it is to get a new primary doctor but based on the way that one talked to you and questioned a labs results I’d be looking for a New primary doctor!!! I would have told him if he wanted to question the lab results why not call the lab and get his questions answered!!! Putting you through all that testing again is not only unnecessary it’s causing you to live longer without treatment! I’m outraged how you were treated by that guy! Unreal! Tina, first let me say my husband and I enjoy your channel and look forward to your “new releases” 😉We have also noticed how Joe has come to life in the last few videos and is now showing us who you see behind the camera and we are loving it. Also, I am sorry for how you were treated by your PCP, no one should ever have to feel degraded by anyone especially when they have proof in hand that they are physically ill. I suffer from celiac disease and living gluten free is not as difficult as it used to be. You would be surprised to know that Walmart now has a rather large selection of gluten free products from pasta, breads, etc. Nabisco makes a rice cracker as well 😊 You got this girl, the world is your oyster ❤

We love you, Tina!! In 2004, I fell ill. There were so many problems I was experiencing. After several months, he started a lot of testing. Everything came back negative. But yet I could not function. He said I swear you have MS, Got tested for that, negative again. Finally, they came to the conclusion that I'm one of the rarest, that test negative for MS... Nothing they could really do for me, but help the symptoms. Yes, I got to the point of not being able to feed myself, and so on. By the grace of God , I went into remission. I've been there ever since. I, too, would rather take the natural road. And I do with most things.. I found that telling my Dr about it, I just hit a wall with him. So I take natural organic supplements, lol. After a year or so of testing my levels, they are perfect. One day, he asked me what brands I use. When I told him I'm strictly herbal, he looked at me weird, then said no more. Of course, one needs to do research on their medications to make sure it's safe to take with your regular medicine.. I've learned that saying nothing is better. With you, you have your herbal Dr to help you with all of that. I'm hoping and praying that you find instant relief, whatever works best for you!! I think the problem with most doctors is that they leave university with their medical qualifications and that's it .they should be learning and keeping up to date with new medical knowledge and changes
I know Justin Rhodes has lymes too and his wife does all natural treatments for it with the naturopaths i believe so she may be able to give some advice too as hes been dealing with it for some years now. Its absolutely worth checking you dont have Alpha Gal with it, although i believe some of your symptoms would be issues with red meat. So glad you're advocating for yourself and yes, you will become more informed than your regular allopathic PC. Don't allow them to gaslight you. Most PC docs will only test for the basics because of lab time and insurance. It's truly a sin that many are sick and feel there are no solutions because of 💰💰.

Siete makes GRAIN FREE CHIPS / Tortilla Chips, Crispy Taco Shells etc etc…. There are great gluten free noodles - Jovial Brand at Walmart and Costco. Rice has no gluten (remember you are not keto,,, just gluten free). Lots of choices these days.

Definitely I will ask for that. It has been a struggle with the ups and downs of each new treatment- sometimes feel great and other times cannot get out of bed or breathe! I have a friend that has to eat ONLY Gluten Free products AND TINA, its best to make sure, that where you go out to eat, you can actually eat at. If that makes sense? 🤔 If my friend wants to go try a new restaurant, she has to research their menus 1st. Better to be safe then sorry, you know, id hate to hear, that you ate something while out and it made you real sick.

Good afternoon my sweet girl. I am going to pray that those new labs come back negative, my husband was paralyzed in a car accident and what I learned from that incident is that no matter how many Dr.’s went had to see they NEVER take other Dr.’s labs. They will make you redo them through their own labs.
Due to all the things that are affected from spinal cord injuries and also depending on where the injury is (meaning how how far up the back or in my husband case neck) the injury is it effects so many aspects of your body. So 9 hospitals in 22 months and countless Dr.’s everyone and I do mean everyone of them had us rerun the test. It is totally ridiculous. Just a way to milk you of more money from the insurance companies. I do have to say that a lot of them would take the report from others but in order to get the money insurance to approve of a new med or new procedures the insurance wanted it from them. Insurance unfortunately is a necessity evil at least it was in our case and probably in most cases.
My sweet girl I am praying that they can work together to help you and also find a new Dr.’s remember you have to be your own advocate. We had some wonderful Dr.’s that work well with homeopathic Dr.’s and some that didn’t. Fire him and keep looking forward for what is best for you.
That doctor is arrogant and abusive. He has a "I'm god because I'm a trained doctor" attitude. Drop him right away and find some who is compassionate and caring...and not such a jerk...

Being GLUTEN FREE you will find is not as hard as it once was, I have been GF for 10 years and don't miss my old lifestyle mutch. Meals out and about is a different story. You are so resourceful you won't have any problems.
