My Dad passed away today🥲He was 94. A wonderful Dad. Retired Firefighter. You are never prepared. At this moment I’m relieved he’s no longer suffering. My best friend and her hubby took me to lunch. When I got home, I settled in with some hot tea & blanket and seeing your new video gave me calm & peace. That’s how much I love you guys🤎 Words cannot express how much.
Oh friend. I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. As you know, I lost my 90 yr old Grandpa this year and he was the closest thing I ever had to a father. You’re right, we’re never prepared.🥹 I will be praying for your heart. Your father sounded like a wonderful man. I’m so glad that our video could bring you some peace even if just for a moment. Hugs. ❤️❤️
U know what, I just think Kelin loves you so much that helping you and seeing and feeling your joy makes his heart explode with family pride and love and all the wonderful gifts of God. I bet his love language could be words of affirmation ❤
Thank you. We try to make them a part of the homestead chores as much as possible. I tell them what my mom used to say to us kids, “You live here too!”🤣
Oh man! That plow is a thing of beauty!!! I love power tools and implements! When I was younger, one year on my birthday Hubby gave me 750 feet of irrigation pipes. I thought that was the best. Then for our anniversary, he bought me a used tractor at auction. I was over the moon!!! Never been a jewelry or clothing freak - just give me useful things in life. Use it in good health and may it last you forever.
LOL. I have a neighbor that buys his wife ATVs, Guns, Boats, Tools, etc. She can barely walk and nearly lives in her recliners, but she must love them cause he keeps buying her the gifts that she cannot use and probably hasn't even seen. LOL.
Yay! I am so glad you received the book successfully! And even better that the boys were looking at it. SO important that younger generations learn about the sacrifices made so we can live the life of freedoms we currently have. That is why I wrote it! Thank you for letting me see that. My heart is full.
Hello friend! Oh, we had no idea that the book Parker was reading came from a viewer. The origin address said something like, “Dept of Interior” something. We had no clue why it was shipped to us but immediately knew who to give it to! Parker loves to read & loves history, so it was perfect for him. If you sent this to us, thank you! I apologize we didn’t give a shout out, we had no idea who it came from. Thanks for thinking of us!❤️❤️ P.S. That’s so neat that YOU wrote it?! That’s awesome!👏🏻👏🏻
I apologize, I thought I had written I was sending it in one of the million Christmas cards you received (haha.) I am just so glad it arrived into the perfect hands. I wrote this book for the Aleutian WWII National Historic Area which is managed by the National Park Service (who is managed by the Dept. of Interior hence the address.) Part of the role of Park Service is educational programming, even military history in this case! 12 years ago I began retracing my grandfather's WWII footsteps through Alaska in an effort to bring honor to his service and the service of those who served along side of him. SO MANY people do not realize there was conflict in Alaska during the war and I made it my mission to tell their story. It has truly been a Godly journey that has allowed me to do the most unbelievable things all in the pursuit of this history. My latest is after years of contemplation, I just stared my own channel that will document their stories and my mission (past and present) to tell them. The book is a product of my efforts and the best thing is, it's FREE to the public! Again, it just filled my heart with joy to see the kids reading it. That is exactly why I do this. Thank you. BTW- My Papa spent 8 months on Kodiak during the war flying out of what is now the USCG Air Station Kodiak. Love Kodiak. Bless you both for your service. @@HomeFreeAlaska
@@FloridaBeachesToTheBeringSea wow that is wonderful!!! I didn’t have a clue that Alaska was involved in the war either. Yes, we got so many cards, I must’ve forgotten that you told me about it. So sorry! 😬 Parker is really enjoying the book. He has a fascination with war planes & everything history which I think is very cool! Thanks again for thinking of us!!☺️
I love that Parker has a love for history- they are the next generation to keep it alive. My daughter sat in her first warbird when she was 8. You know, there is a warbird group I am part of in Anchorage, Commemorative Air Force Col. Hunt Alaska Wing. We often have events, the boys would love it.. and I believe Parker is now old enough to fly in one! I'll keep you posted on when our next event is. @@HomeFreeAlaska
Youre a lucky Mom to have those two young men helping you with that fence! Having my kids help with farm chores was one of the best things I did. Life isn't always easy, but we've always got to take care of things no matter what. Its good they see this.
Your Pets are so lucky to have you. They respond to your loving voice and loving demeanor ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ you’re the greatest mom to the boys and to all your inside and outside babies!
Hello, dear hearts! I'm so glad Samson has his own space. I was worried that he would hurt any of you. Job well done, Tina. 👍👏👏Parker and Kellen, thank you for helping Mom and Dad. You are the best! God bless you all!!!
I have had a good hearty laugh many times in this video...this was a video of happy animals and happy people!!! Looks like Samson has calmed down since he does not have to protect his women!! Love the handsome boys haircuts! Love seeing the cats going at it and having a great time!!! Thanks again Tina for all your hard but satisfying work!!! Love you all!
Joe and Tina, I really have a hard time finding the words to express how much we enjoy your channel. Just know, your family is so loved by my husband and I. ❤ Vicki
Joe is warming up to the camera. It's fun to see him smiling and having a good time. I think retirement has really sunk in. I don't know why but when I saw the puzzle of the dogs I started crying. Maybe because I lost one of my babies a few months ago.
I hope you get the shelter ready for Samson soon, that 's a lot of work, Love Love the snow, when I was living in SC we got no snow it is so pretty when it is coming down. Look at you Tina you did a great job , the scenery is simple beautiful there , I know Joe is going to be a happy man getting a plow truck , I can see he is trying to hide how excited he is but I can tell Joe .
The nice thing about the black and white scenery and the cold of winter is that come spring, the glorious colors and warmth are so much more appreciated!
Absolutely awesome and amazing video. Tina your editing and hardwork on these videos really shows through. I bet that new laptop is making it a lot easier on you. So glad Joe got the plow for the truck. Time is so valuable and the time saved with that plow will more then pay for itself. Thank you for taking us on a little glimpse into this awesome life you guys are building in Alaska.
Your videos are always so heartwarming, Joe excitement of getting a plow for his truck was priceless. And those handsome boys, they are so appreciative of all that you and Joe do for them for all their hard work. So clean cut in their hair cuts. I can’t say enough about your parenting skills. God bless you all!🙏🏻💕
You have an amazing place that you guys have built up for yourselves… I loved watching the cats play… little tri-pawed can hold his own. You are just so refreshing. Thank you for sharing with us. 🥰
Thank you so much! It makes my heart so happy to see Asher living on as if nothing ever happened! He’s strong and learned to adapt to the missing leg.❤️
Great job Tina and boys on the fence for Samson! Great job Joe on the pipes. So glad that’s taken care of. You all did a great job! This will be safer for everyone involved! ❤️. Can’t wait to see the new babies this spring! Take care guys! See you all on the next video!
Bulls, rams, and other male livestock cannot be trusted. It has nothing to do with your family - it’s his personality i think. I love how you all work together to solve problems on the homestead. Awesome team work! Your animals are well taken care of.
Tina your video is good as always it warms my heart that you make me feel like I am part of your family in my lonely feel alone world. What a blessing you are to me. Love to all of you u til next time. Stay safe and well all of you. ❤
So much gets done on the homestead, because no matter what all of you do, you still work together. You and Joe have a loving marriage. It shows in everyway. I know you had to end the video, but I could have kept watching. I enjoyed it so very much. Thank you
These ppl blaming you guys for Sampsons aggression are clueless. Going to bet they don't own live stock. You guys have nothing to do with Sampson being aggressive it is simple nature and hormones. That is his job in nature. So good to see Asher and Rusty playing like old times. Asher is a very lucking boy to be so loved by you guys. I absolutely love the slow-mo videos of Brandley and Gunner. Those dogs are so amazingly agile. Great job on the Sampson pen! You had no choice but to separate him otherwise your ewes would not get the attention they need to be able to milk them. Great drone shots. You are very talented navigating it in the trees.
Awww Joe was so happy..i could tell Tina❤ I think you guys are such wonderful people and I really have come to care about you guys 💓💓 even though I don't personally know you..i kinda feel like I do. Thanks for sharing your family with us ❤ love you all
I'm glad ya'll got that woolly bully his own pen! Good job and what a fun day in town waiting for the truck..Joe deserves that plow for sure!! Great video thank you!
Great video today. Love being part of your life. Thank you for sharing. So happy for you Joe with the new plow. That should make cleaning up a little easier. Take care all. God bless ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸
Hi guys, loved todays program. When we had a snow plow put on our truck which was a 3/4 ton ford 4 wheel drive, we ended up having a lot of problems, as it really is hard on your rigs. We had front end problems and transmission problems, you name it so we took the plow off our good truck and bought an older pickup to do the plowing and left the plow on it and used the old truck for plowing only. We ended up with some pretty big repair bills on our regular truck. As far as rams go they are all like that . I had raised sheep for awhile but because of the ram and getting beat up by him all the time I sold them all. It did not matter what I did he was one which would sneak attack you when you were not looking. I did nothing to make him that way, they just get like that and never can be trusted.
I love the beauty of your family unit and how you all work so beautifully together! I think your family is awesome! I look forward to your videos every week always wishing that there was more than one to watch a week. I enjoy them so much and I enjoy your family. You are raising two beautiful young men, Tina. So excited for Joe, that he got a plow. It’s a beautiful one. So glad Lexi has a channel of her own. It’s so nice to watch her as well. She is doing a great job taking after her mom. Alaska is such a beautiful place and I just want to say thank you for sharing your homesteading life there with us.
I like your new coat. Green is a great color on you. Brings out your eyes so nicely. I'm glad Sampson has his own space now. The girls will be so much calmer and the lambs will be safe.
I would suggest using a power strip with individial switches (extension cord - outlet surge protection) to save energy. I have several throughout my house. In the kitchen for the microwave and toaster. My son uses one for all his gaming stuff. It is only on when in use. There is one in the office that I use for my desktop computer and printer. I also use a single switch on my washing machine TV, and every lamp that is plugged in. It makes a difference!
Loved this video, thank you. I enjoy seeing the dogs get a good work out with Joe, the dogs have a lot of energy to burn, Asher looks good, love the play segment with the cats, and family time, whether, at work or play, thank you for providing great content when it comes to your videos. God bless you all.
I loved this video. As a bookworm I totally get Parker sniffing the new book. They have an awesome smell. Joe looks so happy in this video. Love his smile. You are all adorable. Such well behaved children. I love how you care for your animals.
I love you guys….such a great video….well…ALL your videos are great💕 Samson better appreciate all the frick’n work you’ve gone through to keep his butt happy! The “girls” I’m sure are so much more calm now that Samson is confined in his own space. So glad Joe got a plow for his truck….this guy works his buns off and deserves something that makes things a little easier. Tina…you two make such a great team….you work side by side and sometimes solo…..I’m sure Joe appreciated all the hard work you and the boys did to put up Samsons fencing. So much work….but lots of laughter too……like I said ….I love you guys💕💕💕💕
I'm sitting here in Virginia thinking it's cold watching what real cold is. You ALL amaze me and I'm always anxious for the next video to show up. Hearing what I'm hearing about schools, you are so wise homeschooling and those boys are real workers. Living Proverbs 31. 💖
I'm so glad you got a plow that will make life easier for Joe. Great job on the sheep pen for Samson sometimes the boys have to be separated you did nothing wrong. Hope the weather breaks up there for you all.
Hi Tina, Kellen is a great kid, helping you shovel a trench through the deep snow!!! I know Parker will be outside, as soon as he can, to help shovel snow too! Great Job on the ram enclosure! Joe, the new attachment to the front of your truck looks awesome! Enjoy! Hopefully it will take a lot less time to snowplow! Thanks for sharing your adventures!
It's ALWAYS, such fun, watching your channel ❤ So very glad you got that separate bed down place for that ram, you did a fantastic job on that area Tina, kudos to you 👍 You sure do get a variety of different types of birds at your feeder, it's always nice to sit and watch them feed. Congrats Joe, on your new plow, very cool 👍 Blessings to you all, Laurel 😁❤️
Another great video, thanks for sharing your day in your life with the boys, animals and all the rest of your life. Take care and stay safe and warm ❤️ 🙏 👍

There’s a device called a ram shield that keeps rams from charging by blocking their forward vision. Might help during breeding season.

Aw thank you so much friend. And thanks for watching Lexxy’s channel too!❤️❤️
I'm with Parker. Nothing better than the scent of a new book!!
😂
The smell of new books is amazing. I am Team Parker on that one! Sniffing new books should be socially acceptable.
Hahahaha! This is awesome. Parker feels so validated!🤣
Thanks for another great video! 😃 I totally understand Parker's sniffing in the book 🤭 New books smell so good!!! 😁😍 Have a fabulous Sunday! 🥰💗
FINALLY a fun clean FAMILY to watch! Your living my dream! Be safe and GOD BLess you!
Thank YOU!
I like your new coat. Green is a great color on you. Brings out your eyes so nicely. I'm glad Sampson has his own space now. The girls will be so much calmer and the lambs will be safe.
Thank you!!
Another beautiful video that kept me smiling from start to finish..
Love from Ireland ❤ 🇮🇪
You are so kind, thank you!
Loved this video, thank you. I enjoy seeing the dogs get a good work out with Joe, the dogs have a lot of energy to burn, Asher looks good, love the play segment with the cats, and family time, whether, at work or play, thank you for providing great content when it comes to your videos. God bless you all.
Our pleasure! thanks for your positive feedback, we appreciate that!❤️❤️
Go Tina you rock!
I think you did a wonderful job on the fencing. Love your videos.
Thank you!
I loved this video. As a bookworm I totally get Parker sniffing the new book. They have an awesome smell. Joe looks so happy in this video. Love his smile. You are all adorable. Such well behaved children. I love how you care for your animals.
Thank you.☺️
I cant believe how much Kellen has grown and changed over the last year.
Us either. The transformation has happened right before our eyes. It’s incredible. He is so special!❤️❤️
Great video ! You have a wonderful family .
Thank you so much!
Thank you! Yes, Samson better appreciate all that hard work!🤣 It’s been about a week now, it’s wonderful having him separated! Bring on the lambs!👏🏻👏🏻
So many cool things happened in this video. Thanks for sharing a little part of your lives with us. ❤
I'm sitting here in Virginia thinking it's cold watching what real cold is. You ALL amaze me and I'm always anxious for the next video to show up. Hearing what I'm hearing about schools, you are so wise homeschooling and those boys are real workers. Living Proverbs 31. 💖
Thank you! I see the headlines and I thank God everyday we pulled Parker out of PS after kindergarten!❤️
It's ALWAYS, such fun, watching your channel ❤
So very glad you got that separate bed down place for that ram, you did a fantastic job on that area Tina, kudos to you 👍
You sure do get a variety of different types of birds at your feeder, it's always nice to sit and watch them feed.
Congrats Joe, on your new plow, very cool 👍
Blessings to you all,
Laurel 😁❤️
Hi Laurel! We absolutely LOVE all the wild birds out here. They’re a pleasure to watch & listen to.☺️
Another great video, thanks for sharing your day in your life with the boys, animals and all the rest of your life. Take care and stay safe and warm ❤️ 🙏 👍
Thanks, you too!☺️
Great video nice to see you all enjoying yourselves ❄️☃️
