- DRUMROLL PLEASE... We have made a jewellery making TV show! Join us for Episode 1 of Jewellers Retreat Season 2!!!

This season, we have three new jewellers, all studying on the Advanced Jewellery Diploma (so lots of fabulous advanced jewellery making skills to share). Over three days the jewellers made three different jewellery projects with only a limited amount of time to complete the pieces....
Did they get done in time? We’d love you to watch and find out!
We’ll be holding watch parties during the premiere where the team and the jewellers will be watching along with you and chatting in the youtube comments. We’ll also have some prizes to giveaway for people who join us and comment live!

My favourite part of the show was seeing three fabulous jewellers make such unique and individual jewellery from design to finished pieces in just 5 hours the viewer interaction and learning events along the way, and the close ups were awesome xxx Thank you xxx

Finally, a show displaying talented "Fine" Jewelers. I'm a US based Jeweler and I started my jewelry journey just as the pandemic started. I was taking weekend classes learning how to manufacture when the classes were abruptly canceled, indefinitely. I was forced to rethink and come up with a Plan B due to multiple reasons of not being able to manufacture anymore. Last year I learned Jewelry Design (CAD/CAM) and currently a GIA Graduate Gemologist student. To learn more about Colored Gemstones, I spent a month's vacation in Sri Lanka last year to learn more about gemstones native to that land and watched gem cutters at work. Since manufacturing was the only thing I initially considered since that was pretty much the only thing I knew about jewelry, I never thought I'd learn about the industry top to bottom- the history, science and art, three things I absolutely love- let alone find myself being more intrigued by diamonds and colored gemstones. I am absolutely loving my jewelry journey thus far. All three pieces are exceptionally beautiful that these wonder Jewelers made. They all have their own unique spin on them. I wish them all the best in their future in endeavors.

So EXCITED about this show because it will help a lot of us to be better at making jewelry. What was the gauge of the metal for the flush setting demonstration? Thank you, and what a treat to see other artist creating because nothing on tv showcasing talented artist. WOOHOO!
So glad you enjoyed the show! The stones are 2.5mm so the metal sheet will be at least 3mm thick to accommodate the depth of the stone. Hope that helps x

Rolling Mill seems to be difficult to use. It the meantime, it was fun watching how the jewelers thought and brainstorm. I truly enjoy exploring the techniques; it never fails to intrigue me.
