@@Seemsayin You are right. I'm sure John would say the same about himself. John has always advocated for guidance by our own experience, not by books or religion. That speaks for his beliefs. Good day.
John, you talks here has given me a path to peace from an Angry older man. I quit drinking and started meditating to allow my self some peace and to be a better father. I have both now and your talks help when I need to focus. God has used your voice and wisdom to help many. Blessed be sir
One of the many things i thoroughly enjoy about listening to John is when listening to him, you get a good sense that he once was filled with all of the feelings and worries that we all carry with us but has now just given in to the stillness and doesn’t seem to carry the burdens and worries anymore and is at total peace. Much love. 🙏🏼
"Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" Matthew 6:26
I fell asleep with John speaking, and hard his voice through my sleep. When I woke up, I had a spiritual awakening. Every word he spoke, through my unaffected state, spoke to my soul.
I've had a very busy day and just settled down to rest, so feel very grateful to see this new video up. Thank you kathy for a great question and thank you as ever to John and Phil
Would love to see John talk about the journey to self love/growth/happiness. I find many people, including myself, struggle with this so would be great to see this subject being discussed :)
Well done Phil! I want to thank you for your effort to make this wisdom available throughout the world. Great quality video's, very good questions and your attitude is very, very pleasant.
This particular talk was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. John Butler is one of the wisest and most enlightened and redeemed human beings I’ve ever encountered. So much wisdom packed into such a little space. I’m BLESSED beyond measure to have found your videos. Please keep them coming!
Thank you, Phil for asking my question and thank you, John for your response. I'm deeply touched by your acknowledgement. This video provides some perspective for me. It's a beautiful, mystical answer to an awful reality that we as humans now face. Gratitude for your wisdom and presence, Kathy
Kathy Shanahan I’m glad you asked Phil about such an urgent problem that humanity faces. The truth is, we really have only TWO YEARS LEFT until the Polar icecaps melt and the oceans boil away!! We are frying the Earth and I for one am terrified! I have nightmares almost every night. The world NEEDS to be talking about this before it’s too late! I’m okay with India and China not talking about it. But the rest of the world NEEDS to be talking about this!! God I’m so nervous and scared!! Some nights I can’t even sleep because I’m so worried about it! ONLY TWO YEARS LEFT!!!!🌎🔥😱😨😰
Brian Parks What are you, some kind of skeptic or conspiracy theorist? Are you a Science denier? I was being generous with ONLY TWO YEARS LEFT!! The reality is even worse!! We have ONLY 18 MONTHS!! nationalinterest.org/blog/buzz/bbc-says-we-only-have-18-months-save-planet-climate-change-69247 Stop being such a whacko conspiracy theorist and accept Science. Science says so and so do the scientists in the scientific community! Who are you to question Science?
Brian Parks Science denier! The BBC is smarter science than your are. Only gullabull people beleave capitalism propaganda from Big Oil the companies. Everyone else smart people knows the temperature is rising. See? www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-48964736
God I’m so stressed out! I didn’t sleep at all last night because we are destroying the planet and climate changing seasons is REAL and we NEED to be talking about it! We humans are destroying our planet and time is running out!😱🌎🔥😨😰😢
The most important thing I've learned about forgiveness, is that you cannot, and should not, ever force it. It actually comes as a natural by-product of forgiving yourself. To understand all, is to forgive all 💛
Wow! This is such a beautiful point of view to answer the question of climate change. I love your answer John! You are so right! Everything in illusion changes and nothing in illusion is permanent. So true!🙏
I have no doubt but what Grace brought me to your offerings of such deep wisdom and radiance of silence. I find myself resting as much in the space between your spoken words as in the words themselves which so clearly arise from that very silence and stillness your presence exudes. No separation - the perfume of wholeness - such a sweet blessing. Such profound gratitude.
Very enlightening as usual thank you, John. I'm looking forward to my next level of consciousness. the one I'm in now is full of envy, regret, and worry.
John - I'm so appreciative that you kept the focus on God despite the human tendency to get wrapped up in the latest drama. Indeed, priorities and politics change, people and planets come and go, but God is always here and now, everlastingly and unconditionally. God bless you, John.
"John, what time is it?" John - "Well, it's always here and now isn't it?" "No, seriously man, I have an appointment at 9, it's important." John - "Well, if we access the stillness...." "Jesus christ I'll ask somebody else"
This earth is not our home and will be destroyed by God (2 Peter 3). Jesus is preparing our new home now in New Heaven and New Earth (the Summerland) Rev 21. Satan and his followers want us to live in comfort zone and defending this world by climate change and global warming issues. So, how can we prepare for the Kingdom of God? Be holy and sin no more
It seems that the climate change debate has inflamed not only Siberia but our viewers. Good. let's see if we can keep our cool shall we and respect each of us has an opinion (while accepting that few of us will have actually studied the data but probably rely on the media and social media to inform us). One of the challenges of climate change (and indeed Brexit for those of us in the UK) is to maintain a healthy dialogue with those with whom we disagree. It depends on good communication which depends on good listening. And then honest thinking. Someone once said "For most people, thinking amounts to no more than re-arranging prejudices." Guilty to that. Even this morning I had a double mis-communication with my Pakistani taxi driver. "Northern College?" he asked as I got in. "Yes - Barnsley Road entrance." After 20 minutes we were on the way to Barnsley. "Are we going to Northern General Hospital?" I asked in a panic. "No sir - you said Northern College, Barnsley." I was cross and ABSOLUTELY SURE I had given him the correct destination. Reluctantly I checked my app. No - I had selected the wrong 'Northern'. My fault. Not paying attention. When he asked "Northern College?" I only heard "Northern General." My fault again. Yet I was ABSOLUTELY SURE I was right and he was wrong. So, I promise I will tread carefully in this debate, read the recommended alternative views (and videos) and come back with my considered response - as I hope you will. One thing puzzles me though - if it is a hoax ... who benefits? If it is not a hoax ... we're all losers. Phil
Thank you for this Phil. Public interest in mutual respect and healthy dialogue is definitely weakening in today's world. You are puzzled by the hoax claims because they are illogical. They will say something like it's about money or power. The gap in this logic is that you can say the same thing about things that are clearly not a hoax. The fear of cyber and real-world crime, for example, generates a lot of extra power for governments and money to private companies. Is crime a myth too? How about the health effects of smoking, or transportation accidents? Of course some people will see climate change as an opportunity to profit. People try to profit from everything, it would only be suspicious if this mysteriously were *not* the case from climate change!
Thanks, Phil. Its such a challenge for all of us to listen openly to different views, and we humans fall so easily into confirmation-bias and polarization, myself certainly included. I don’t think there’s any serious disagreement that climate change is real but there is quite a bit of disagreement about how dire it is, whether it can be slowed down enough for humanity to survive, and if so, how best to do that. Having leaned toward the more dystopian view myself, I’ve been reading serious thinkers who are more optimistic lately for balance. Anyway I appreciated very much hearing John’s perspective on this. The whole concern is very much weighing on many people’s minds and there is much fear, angst and grief, so it was helpful to hear John’s more transcendent perspective. Love you both. 🙏
It was not my intention to discuss climate change, since as I made clear, we face far more grave problems. But if you're earnest in wanting to hear the other side of the argument on climate change, Julian Charles, a Christian based in the north of England has some very informative interviews on his website. Links below. www.themindrenewed.com/interviews/2017/1015-int127a www.themindrenewed.com/interviews/2017/1016-int127b www.themindrenewed.com/interviews/2013/238-int-19
Phil. Thank you for addressing this most urgent issue! I was one of those nutcase, looney tunes, climate denier, conspiracy theory skeptics before I actually “listened” to some of the global climate greenhouse cooling change points of view here. Now I realize we have only TWO YEARS LEFT to save the planet!!! I’m terrified! The ice caps are melting at an alarming rate and scientists say by January of next year both London AND New York will be under water due to rising sea levels!!! This is a climate emergency that the world NEEDS to be talking about! In just TWO SHORT YEARS our Polar ice caps will be 100% melted and the rising seas will have boiled away! I’m nervous and terrified by this fact all the time. When will our governments DO SOMETHING!?!? We need a communist World Government to take over NOW and control our lives for us because we’ve proven that we can’t do it ourselves. Communism will heal the planet and make everyone equally wealthy beyond our wildest dreams. Forward together we can make sure the profit motive, evil, greedy capitalists will be locked away for good! We need to save our Planet NOW! Before it’s too late!! “ONLY TWO YEARS LEFT!! The clock is TICKING!!!! Get WOKE people!!! God I’m stressed!🔥🌎😢😱😨😰
I have been led to encourage many to this channel from my Facebook page Meditation Heals the World. Words can’t express my gratitude 🙏 Thank you John and Phil😊
Closing one’s eyes and listening to your heartbeat, breathing or the sounds around with a quiet mind on a regular bases is, to me, a very powerful expression of love . Present moment awareness, to me, is vital especially NOW! Creating quantum space for greater things to come and naturally becoming more and more grounded is a priceless benefit and gift this practice gives. This gift 🎁 is a gift that keeps on giving that benefits us all. My whole life has been transformed because of it. Clarity is priceless Thank you John
nice words x.not passing judgement on someone's experience, but people have to watch they're not merely getting too involved in mindfulness, which is more for stress relief and personal gain is to feel better for self which can be ego again or the devill.
Iv'e been listening for about 2 years now and love his gentle voice and demeanor. This is one of my favorites. I do want to address a logical inconsistency in his statement about countering the negative effects of modern scientific practices. While science may be demonized, the truth is that industrial processes are the real problem. Science is simply a tool that can be used positively or negatively, depending on the intentions of those who wield it. In many cases, science is the solution to the problems that over-industrialization has caused. Our understanding of organic farming, for example, has improved and become commonplace thanks to the scientific method.
Been watching you off and on Mr John, watched you originally because I appreciated your voice. Was calming, and I did like hearing a different point of view from my own- my own view being mostly secular, that of an atheist-agnostic. Someone who may not necessarily reject the idea of a god, but I won't bother with worship- let whatever entity there may be judge me for how I lived my life, not by my proclamations if that makes sense. Found as I've watched you- while I may not agree with everything you say; I do have to say that there's a down to earth sense of realism to what you say; for those who listen. Whatever the beliefs one may hold, humanity is very fragile and temporary... but there is some things, the nature of the world, of humans as a species even that is a constant. The means of expressing these patterns may be different: For instance, the farmer of yesteryear might've gone to a market, heard a town crier talk of news and maybe got his mates riled up at a local tavern during their day of bringing their crop to market. The person of today will hear things on the news or online after their day at work or school, and will also get motivated to speak about it, to talk about it. The difference is not the behaviour- the actual "spirit" or a person/animal as one could say; but the mental approach and the physical approach has evolved and changed over time. I genuinely think that you've done a lot in the front of trying to farm in a natural way, avoiding pollutants and overly damaging methods. And approaching the mentality of food production as well is a very interesting premise... we've become so industrial that we've made literal slaughter factories, made fields of palm oil trees in parts of the world to supply a consuming hunger of commerce. I do wonder though; in your point of view you mentioned how the "Almighty," how fossil fuels and the cycle of human industry and existence is part of the "Almighty's" order. Do you see the "Almighty" as something more of passive thing- something that desires one to fix themselves rather than directly influence? In an analogy sense: It is a teacher- but like any teacher they cannot force a student to learn- it is up to the student to learn and embrace the concept? I do also wonder, regardless of the case- is with the "Almighty," that perhaps are they not flawed themselves for having made life that does its own evils? Or does this entity just see all that happens as "natural" and not good or evil, such human concepts of morality being devoid from it? I also feel that in a lot of cases in nature, and with ourselves there's so many things that seem more like experimentation in life: creatures being overly acclimated to an island habitat for instance, but then horribly dying out as soon as competition- naturally introduced or otherwise- is made, evolution of creatures that simply is not an efficient path or "upgrade" in a linear sense of things. Life seems more like a chaotic sprawl of roots attached to each other; intertwined and dependent but not a direct sense of "planning." I feel like if there is an "Almighty" that they've definitely taken a hands off approach to the development of life- there isn't much of a direct sense of evidence for intelligent design in my point of view; and I am not sure what your thoughts are on this matter. But at the same time, ecosystems do also have a sense of balance with each other and that in and of itself is rather remarkable. Such questions I've asked myself. For me I am honestly not certain of anything regarding the spiritual despite having looked into many different resources regarding the subject and seeing many different points of view. I've done sweat lodges and seen people do hymns and other sorts of things, seen ceremonies of different faiths ranging from Christians to Native American tribal beleifs, Muslims during Call to Prayer and as well as my own far more familiar outlooks of scientific method, I do feel there's... something of a sense of power behind people's faith. And like any sense of power it can be utilized for both great and terrible things. Its a driving force that can take a hold of someone almost like a drug- which I mean in both the good and bad sense of the implication, depending on the usage of faith. I did really love the statement you made though that "humanism is a false god" because I do feel like regardless of one's beliefs- whether one's a follower of scientific materialist method or a religious Abrahamic follower (Christianity, Islam, Judaism), a Hindu or Buddhist or whatever faith or ideal: Arrogance over nature has caused a lot of misery and problems in this world. Rivers dammed for the sake of progress. Animals fished and hunted to be put in a can for a novelty commercial food. All of this sense of self importance. I'm not a vegan or anything of the sort, but there's a point that we cannot deny: the way human society behaves at large, some societies more than others, act far beyond the means of natural resources and act with a very destructive self importance. And we are acting as a catalyst for climate change to the point that the world is undergoing such drastic climate change that we are at a serious issue of not being able to cope with the changing conditions. Boiling our own pot so to speak- the pot itself will survive the boiling... but we, as mere ingredients? Perhaps not. I do have a question directly for you though; because you said that if you were a young man you would be ripe with anxiety with the state of the world, how climate change and other things are affecting the conditions of society and that of the Earth. My question is two fold: If you were young again; what would you do- what would you personally do; in one case with the knowledge and experience you've garnered over the years- and in the other case, as a young man who has grown in the present era. I imagine the mentality formed in both cases would be very different. What would you suggest for a man or woman of this era? What can we do better to do better by this Earth; what mental and physical changes can we make and if I may be so bold, spiritual changes? What specifics can we do? I ask with an open mind, as a clarifier. I know my write up here has likely espoused some strong opinions- but I am open to suggestions and I mean that earnestly. And my 2nd part of the question- do you feel due to your age and outlook of being still, of being at "peace" with the world that you are somewhat detached from the consequences of the world, that you feel you are soon leaving it and there's not much left you can do that you haven't already? Or do you feel some sense of responsibility still in some form, or perhaps with death, whatever sense of spiritual aftermath may enable you to help in some other form? Not asking to make judgement mind either way; I just am genuinely curious. I apologize for the very long written spiel here, but I would sincerely appreciate if you answer even any of this. I am rather curious as to your thoughts.
I don't know if you've ever received an answer from John to your questions but let me ask you a question back. The answer cannot come from anybody else but from you only and when you have it then you'd also have the answers to your two questions- who/what is that 'I' that you use throughout your comment so many times [the same 'I' that is common to all speakers of English when they refer to themselves]? The world evolves around this 'I' and without it, the world, the universe and God have no purpose. The entire human civilization is constructed on 'I, me and mine' ' [very often opposing it to 'you and yours'], the 'I' that wants to know everything about the world while is still confused about what itself is in reality, beyond the hearsay concepts learned from others and used freely and skillfully to construct a world of concepts. Look at that which you know, that which you were taught by those ahead of you- that you are a person with the nucleus in the body, you have a name and a history, own some stuff, have a social position and are in relationships with others... what is that which claims all this- are you any of them/what/who are you when you sleep and where do all these go?! Take them one by one, using the power of logic and reason developed over a lifetime of practicing how to think [the others taught you]. See the false behind the facade of concepts and discard it- the truth will reveal itself by renouncing the false.
@@d1427An interesting response, thank you. Breaking down things to smaller and smaller components in life has seemed to, if nothing else, make life easier to cope with and digest. I suppose the whole I, me and mine mentality stems from the sheer fact that we are self preserving creatures, and while not thoroughly self serving, we are indeed, selfish. Thank you for your response. I know John and his friend has read my comment- its definitely a lot written there so I reckon they are mostly doing as you said: breaking it down logically and thinking on it for themselves. And that'll definitely take time. Cheers, Ki.
Thank you John and Phil for this, you thoughts on this subject are very helpful to me and I think I'm going to have to listen to this video a few times to let it all sink in. I feel these are worrying times and your perspective helps. I've been reading about Thomas Traherne recently and finding his meditations in sympathy with mine, with his deep love of nature.
Definitely food for thought when he says " which is worse, a few chemicals or our evil / negative thoughts" , suppose they are like a pollutant in the world,
One of your best videos! I suspect what you said was over some people's heads but sometimes the truth - simple as it can be - can just be hard to grasp. Not only did you say what I know to be true in my heart and soul, but you went beyond and really informed - in particular when you spoke of the world as manifested. Loved this!
How does one contend with feelings of emptiness? Most days I find myself floating between anger and absolute apathy. I hide in sarcasm and humour but as I’ve aged that veil has been getting thinner. I don’t know how to handle anything else.
Slam_24 yes a creeper just blew up your house and you lost hours of work. but what matters is kindness. and the heart and soul. and that we reflect upon all things. or something. That's what he'd say. =)
Thank you, John. Im starting to uncover the stillness inside of me. Meditation is becoming a part of my life now, thanks to your teaching. You are the greatest teacher of mediation there has ever been in this world, Im sure. Im in the invisible world you so often talk about on your RUclips vidoes. I know now, thanks to your teaching. Ive also discovered time in the wide open spaces I never knew existed. I'll be the greatest pupil you could ever imagine. Im sure you will be able to guide me in the unchanging stillness inside of a prophet like you. It will be a great joy of mine to meet you, and walk with you day by day into the invisible stillness, the other world that has been opened to my eyes. The ebb and flow of time. Time. It'll be time to talk. But not anytime soon.
signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific auditory or visual stimuli, and less commonly by intentional attention control.
I would probably never have been saved by Christ if it hadn't been for you. I owe you more than you'll ever know. Im at a loss for words for what I really want to say in the deep, deep stillness that are in the wide open spaces that you so often travel to. In the Andes, Africa and in Australia. I hope you are able to open up about the adventures youve had in the desert with no water. Its not easy without a canteen. I used to have one of those that was from world war two. I miss that canteen like you would never know right about now. Im sure we will meet again in the timeless wide open spaces in my mind and in Space itself. I can't wait to see what happens after my mortal life. Im just going to read the Bible and trust in God and the spirit world.
John, do you think that by harming the environment and the animals in it, we are harming ourselves? You have said before that everything is part of the stillness and there is really no separation between you and me. So by harming animals, are we really just harming ourselves?
@Mr. Meeseeks Why do Christians always feel the need to tell everyone about their faith? There are few things people enjoy more than giving their opinions on things, that's just how it is. No need to put a label like only "atheists" do it.
Haven't seen LotR yet (I want to!!), but if I had to imagine a voice for trees, it would be something like this. Calm, stoic, thoughtful, pausing to consider the weight of every word.

I wonder what John’s thoughts are on spirits. Are there any spirits roaming earth, has he felt them? Is it possible to connect with ancestors as some people do as a practice? Has he ever encountered an evil spirit? How did he handle that?
Hi John, would love to hear your thoughts on the book 'A conversations with God' by Neale Donald Walsch. The inner peace you speak of is almost exactly how it is expressed in those books.
@Scott VonSwestenhousen...indeed...'Secular Humanism' is a false god....particularly when The Left is involved. Thanks. PS...in the USA, we are dealing with the One World Media prior to the 2020 elections...talk about false, chanting prophets!
Peruvian Tree Productions Do everyone here a favor and take your question elsewhere. There’s plenty of other places on the internet for communists to form their hive. How about you try to find one of those hives somewhere else and disappear.
I agree, we have cut ourselves off from the spiritual world and the results are dissastrous. John admits that it appears that we are headed for the collapse of civilization, because of all the terrible things we are doing to nature. I agree, and I also agree that the spiritual world is the only true refuge and spiritual practice is the true work we should be doing. It appears that the runaway greenhouse effect and abrupt climate collapse have now been triggered by our extreme atmospheric pollution. The damage is so great that we almost certainly stand almost no chance of saving this planet from the ignorance, hatred, greed and anti-natural activity of a massive overpopulation of lost human souls. However, we can still do the work of saving our own souls and of being a positive example for others to follow, and so that should be our focus and our efforts should be strong and steady.
Our souls is the natural man. When we place our faith in Jesus He gives us his spirit. If it is on my heart I will care about climate but if not i am fine. Jesus after all cares so much for me and you far far beyond nature. God says we are worth many birds. John 3:16- For God so loved the world He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. Me again- The world meaning us sinners.
You dude at the beginning who does the introduction has the most relaxing ASMR voice too aswell as good old John Butler the king of ASMR,,, always helps get me off to sleep every night,, sooo thankful for your voices but that guy who introduces john needs to do longer narrative speaking videos please
Anthropocentrism = "...so that they [man] may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground." Gen 1:26
John Butler says, "I don't know what to do. God knows." How true this is. There must be a plan on a higher level, that will be made manifest, because no man has a solution for this existential crisis. No one can show us the path forward mainly because mankind will not listen and cannot see, being steeped in a deeply materialistic, unspiritual, and yes, unsustainable lifestyle. A few see, feel, and understand (like John Butler and those who have ears to hear what he says), but sadly most have dull, selfish, closed hearts.
Wise elder, yes. Certainly not disagreeing with John on this wide universal perspective. There is a statement we would would once chant inwardly..."Everything will be alright..." Along with "All Praise to the Lord of Worlds." The All and Everything. I also see the Union in the eyes of the children who may have a saner and cleaner future if we could make a stronger effort to keep natural resources more beneficial to organic life on Earth. I see it as a kind of price to pay for those who live beyond our lives. Wanting them to be inheriting a greener world. This is happening at the same time as the forces of entropy exhaust their efforts to spew out stuff to accumulate what does not profit souls. It's a striving that gives value to my time on Earth. The urge to conserve what is in our power to do so rather than destroy. Along with The Jesus Prayer. Thank you, John and Phil. This was our Prayer of Grace and individually still is. All Life is One. And everything that lives is holy. Plants, Animals, and Man-- All must eat to live and nourish one another. We bless the lives that have died To give us Food. Let us eat consciously, Resolving by our Work To pay the debt of of our existence. JGB
Is it just me, but it seems like Phil is trying to coax a certain response from John about climate change, but John stays focused on the spiritual side rather than the physical side.
My cat loves John's voice. Every time I play one of his videos she comes near and falls to sleep instantly.
I love that. Cats know it all.
😊😇
he must like the bass in his voice.
This is the finest example of elderly wisdom being passed down, something we really need to appreciate more nowadays. This is pure treasure ❤️

It's not elderly wisdom as I see with many elders I know of. The talker here is himself attributing his wisdom to years of trial and error with meditation.

One of the many things i thoroughly enjoy about listening to John is when listening to him, you get a good sense that he once was filled with all of the feelings and worries that we all carry with us but has now just given in to the stillness and doesn’t seem to carry the burdens and worries anymore and is at total peace. I love John Butler. He is perhaps the most innocent man in the world. Keep him safe!!!

Real relaxing thank u
The sound I make when my Dad asks me a car related question that has a very complex answer
That was a good 17 solid seconds of thinking.
Oh wow lol
I fell asleep with John speaking, and hard his voice through my sleep. When I woke up, I had a spiritual awakening. Every word he spoke, through my unaffected state, spoke to my soul.
I've had a very busy day and just settled down to rest, so feel very grateful to see this new video up. Thank you kathy for a great question and thank you as ever to John and Phil
John, I love you. Thank you for these talks. They open up my heart and eyes more and more.
Would love to see John talk about the journey to self love/growth/happiness. I find many people, including myself, struggle with this so would be great to see this subject being discussed :)
One of John's best relaxing videos.
Well done Phil! I want to thank you for your effort to make this wisdom available throughout the world. Great quality video's, very good questions and your attitude is very, very pleasant.
This world needs more John Butler's.
I listen to John at work and it makes the day shorter. Absolutely lovely, sincerly thank you
This particular talk was wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. John Butler is one of the wisest and most enlightened and redeemed human beings I’ve ever encountered. So much wisdom packed into such a little space. I’m BLESSED beyond measure to have found your videos. Please keep them coming!
This video helps me draw out the wisdom that's been with me all along.
I feel like I'm just melting away when I watch these videos. Probably the best asmr ever.

Beautiful. Thanks God for John in this world 🌎
Fiends are great. But I want John as my friend. Just listening to him makes me a better person.
Thank you, Phil for asking my question and thank you, John for your response. I'm deeply touched by your acknowledgement. This video provides some perspective for me. It's a beautiful, mystical answer to an awful reality that we as humans now face. Gratitude for your wisdom and presence, Kathy

The truth is, we really have only TWO YEARS LEFT until the Polar icecaps melt and the oceans boil away!!
We are frying the Earth and I for one am terrified!

Would it be possible to discuss forgiveness. What's your thoughts on this topic John? Much, much love. ❤️
The most important thing I've learned about forgiveness, is that you cannot, and should not, ever force it.
It actually comes as a natural by-product of forgiving yourself.
To understand all, is to forgive all 💛
Sometimes forgiveness is just not possible.......
We are to forgive as Jesus told us to forgive. Matthew 18: 21-22.
Maybe for you but it is what it is
Thanks for another video! Glad to see the channel is constantly growing.

So inspiring John, thankyou from the bottom of my heart. You are a tremendous encouragement to everyone , God bless you .x
John - I'm so appreciative that you kept the focus on God despite the human tendency to get wrapped up in the latest drama. Indeed, priorities and politics change, people and planets come and go, but God is always here and now, everlastingly and unconditionally. God bless you, John.
An excellent video, thanks to John and Phillip.
"John, what time is it?"
John - "Well, it's always here and now isn't it?"
"No, seriously man, I have an appointment at 9, it's important."

Great, John Butler spilling a bit of the metaphysical beans this time !
This is a climate emergency that the world NEEDS to be talking about! In just TWO SHORT YEARS our Polar ice caps will be 100% melted and the rising seas will have boiled away! John Butler “Look here”
The world “Don’t look here look over there”
Mr.Butler,We love you very much,in Turkey.🇹🇷.♡♡
Life seems more like a chaotic sprawl of roots attached to each other; intertwined and dependent but not a direct sense of "planning."
I feel like if there is an "Almighty" that they've definitely taken a hands off approach to the development of life- there isn't much of a direct sense of evidence for intelligent design in my point of view; and I am not sure what your thoughts are on this matter.
I did really love the statement you made though that "humanism is a false god" because I do feel like regardless of one's beliefs- whether one's a follower of scientific materialist method or a religious Abrahamic follower (Christianity, Islam, Judaism), a Hindu or Buddhist or whatever faith or ideal:
Arrogance over nature has caused a lot of misery and problems in this world.
My question is two fold:
If you were young again; what would you do- what would you personally do; in one case with the knowledge and experience you've garnered over the years- and in the other case, as a young man who has grown in the present era.
Thank you, Ki, for this very thoughtful comment, relevant to many. I hope we'll consider it in a future video.
@@SpiritualUnfoldment Thank you for replying. I'll be tuning in for the odd video here and there with you guys, best regards.
Cheers, Ki.

We love it!

Certainly not disagreeing with John on this wide universal perspective. There is a statement we would would once chant inwardly..."Everything will be alright..." Along with "All Praise to the Lord of Worlds."
The All and Everything.

Resolving by our Work
To pay the debt of of our existence.
