    I tried this example out . I was successful at the first attempt on the first example, but at the second attempt i was just getting a rectangular cut on the curved surface. Could you explain where i have gone wrong. Will be very much appreciated. I tried several times but was unsucessful.

    I would really appreciate if you could make a video showing how to add windows and door to a morph... for example, I created an abstract mesh in 3ds max and import it into ArchiCAD, converting it into a morph... but adding doors and windows gets a little tricky... can you please help me out?

    Well done 456, the second method it is possible but is not correct because we can not see the windows in the 2D view.

    YOU MUST NOT FORGET TO PUT "WALLHOLE" into the ID.....so typically ArchiCAD hidden hints :-)

    Nice trick with the window, I think I had jumped on the solid operations, since I come from 3D studio, A-Cad and Rhino, but what worries me is suddenly you end up with a heavy model because of the solid operations. Do you have any knowledge as to how the methos differences regarding polygon counts ?
    AND You really .. really you need a laptop or a new less noisy machine.. ;)

      Like I did at the 2:10 mark, you must change the ID of the slabs to '' wallhole''. If you skip this step, the window appears as you described. Hope this works and I answered your question.

      hi , it's really nice, but what is the trick 'wallhole', why other name is not working?

      Look at the settings "renovations status", make sure its the same, I also had the same problem and fix that and it work.

    In my opinion the tutorial could have started at 7:00, the rest is just you modeling your scene. I think most of the people that are getting started with archicad and are looking for tutorial on how to do this already have their scene and they only need to see whats the tool for that :)

    • @januzportz7367
      @januzportz7367 4 года назад

      Then make your own video for that and publish it.

      @@januzportz7367 I've tried to be as polite as possible and give you a constructive criticism so you, as a publisher, could take something good out of it. No need to be whingeing about that.
