J-Hope is a rapper and member of the group BTS, which consists of 3 rappers and 4 vocalists (7-member group). He always pours his everything in his lyrics and music. The subtitles (CC) work pretty accurately on BTS/Solo videos, especially the ones from recent years, so have them on next time you check his work or any BTS music video. They do not disappoint, their discography encompasses many genres. Thank you for a great reaction!
J. Cole is J-Hope's idol. He was so honored that he wanted to work with him....he let him have all the bars. There is a story about the first time they met & how J-Hope was SO in shock. Also, J-Hope has a solo album called Hope World because of J. Cole's influence. Loved your reaction! 💜
For additional context, this song was J-hope's final release before leaving to serve in the South Korean military (for approximately two years). Not only was this a song dedicated to his fans, but it was also a way to honor and show respect to his biggest musical influence growing up, J. Cole.

This song truly touched my heart because first, he released this song right before entering the military and line “it’s always for us” hits the BTS Army in a whole other way and because JHope has so much respect & luv for J Cole he let him hv the spotlight in this song which shows what kind person our Hobi is. 💜🫶🏼💜

Definitely check out JHopes other songs. Everyone says More and Arson and you should bc it’s too good but also check out What If, Hangsan and Base Line. He’s heavily hip hop inspired with a bit of rock and obviously rap ! Then check out RM of BTS !
