Wow! been doing one of these for a week and finally found YOU!!! I just got mine completely apart and I am trying to decide the condition of my belt. Glad to find this!
You are a good master! You have a very good and detailed video, it helped me a lot. Thanks for your work! I know how difficult it is to work and shoot quality videos, it takes a lot of time. Carry on, good luck, friend!
Man I love your attention to detail and you are a saint for sure. I buy Alot of em and sell em and I'm tired of spending the jack for a used good unit when I can spend a fraction and rebuild em myself.
@7:42: How sure are you that the flat side facing up? I'm doing the same s**t actually and i'm pretty sure that the round side of the steel plates facing towards the big ring gear on top. I looked at the marks on the rings and i saw tooths from the gear ring on the rounded side of the plates. I'm not sure, but i'm nervous now if i assembled it correctly or not. BR from Switzerland, Matthias
Well i believe i have found the culprit the feed tube seal is not even in the plate at all it is M.I.A tested everything and swapped out valve bodies finally split case and was looking at everything pulled plate out tested reverse piston it works fine then noticed missing seal going to put her back together this weekend and see what happens feed seal should be here today thanks for making a great video. Did you have to do any relearn or have nissan flash it?
If you are replacing the valve body, make sure to swap over that EPROM chip on the valve body, so you wouldn't have to relearn. If you use a new EPROM, the relearn process will have to be redone at the dealer.
@@TheLaborService i swapped the valve body from my old transmission into this one to try it before pulling it out so do i just leave that valve body in it or swap out to the new one?
@@acrophobiar1 That works. If you want to use the new valve body, swap the EPROM on the old valve body, onto the new one, then install the valve body. You see next to the TCM connector? there is a green plug, its plugged in the black square, that black square holds on the ROM. You'll have to swap that onto the new one. Here's a photo: at-manuals.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/jf015e_solenoids-1024x655.jpg
question about the forward clutch pack after both snap rings and clutch plates removed theres a gasket at the bottem does this come with the master rebuild set?
Hard to say how long it will take. I had to order parts mid way, also I was filming the whole process wasn't in a hurry. It took me a month. I think if you did it yourself. Might take you 1 day to take everything apart then take out the transmission, depending on what you are replacing inside the transmission, cleaning it, replacing belt can take a couple of days, and then putting everything back into the car will take another day. Sooo... maybe a week of commitment?
I need you help!! If the transmission is slipping do i need to work on the clutch and disc ?? I already replace the solenoids and keeps slipping in 2 gear while i pass 2,000rpm the idle and tranny feels weird then it goes, when im driving 30plus i dont feel it just when i stop and 1 and 2 gear work together im guessing is the clutch and disc since i dont hear or feel another fail in the tranny please give me your point of view im about to open the trans again
Do you have a CVT or is an automatic non CVT tranny? CVTs don't really have gears, the speed and rpms adjust by themselves. How many miles on the car? If you have replaced the transmission filter, trans cooler filter, transmission oil, solenoids, and problem still exist... Depending on the amount of miles you might be close to that CVT belt dying. There are also clutches in there you should also replace along with seals and the transmission oil pump. The Nissan CVT is an awful design flaw.
I rebuilt my Nissan Sentra 2016 transmission e, the car doesn’t start because the gears aren’t starting, and on the dashboard it only shows an R, no D or N or any other gear. Please reply. Thank you.
I have the same problem...going forward in reverse but I think the piston or the small seal that feed the piston is leaking but when I shift from drive to neutral or reverse to neutral feels like it bumps after 1 second while in neutral..forward gear are just fine
@@geoffreykidder5694 found my problem, linkage in prnd manual valve wasn sitting right on valve body, I jus put in plce and now is working like it should
Hey, my brother, your videos are very is instructional and very cool to watch. Also is I will let you know you have save me plenty of money by watching your videos I was able to fix my transmission. Also, it would be great if you put on your videos your contribution link so if somebody like me, that is grateful for for your help to send you a little bit of donation as a the we could 👍👍🙏🏻
Andres, we got these transmission master rebuild kits, pulley, and belt from alibaba.com, and some off ebay such as the oil pump, LOCTITE, NS-2 oil, and solenoids.
my 2012 nisan versa throws this code p0846 it is the pressure switch sensor.and i don't know which one it is if it goes inside the transmission in the valve body or out side the transmission if someone can help thanks
P0846 involves switch B on the valve body under the transmission pan. It is possible to the switch just the individual solenoid. I have a video here: ruclips.net/video/yPGI_Jlb-h8/видео.html The easiest possible way is to swap the entire valve body. But when you do make sure to swap out the EPROM from your old one to the new one. Also, before doing anything make sure your transmission fluid isn't low. Also, if you haven't changed the transmission filter, and transmission cooler filter, now would also be the time.
Did your transmission works fine after you finish I open my transmission looks like so I only replace the oil pump and I still have the same problem code p2859 where the clutch A&b is located please help
Yes, everything is working perfectly. I recently drove it up to Fresno and back for work which was a total of about 530 miles, but I did do an entire rebuild. P2859 could possibly be one of the solenoids on the valve body. Have you replaced the solenoids on the valve body? There are pressure solenoids there. One of them might be malfunctioning/stuck open or closed. I also have a video on replacing the solenoids.
If I am able to successfully rebuild the CVT, how long can it last. I have done 126k miles on my Nissan Sentra 2015 model. The transmission has broken down. Isn't better to rebuild or buy a used one. Please advise

At 14:26 incorrect installation of the thrust bearing. It is necessary to turn the bearing over with the other side.
Thanks, I noticed it too, and started to worry that I am wrong :D
