This is a really interesting comparison!! I have both but they serve such different purposes. I always feel way more chic with the Chanel, but the PA is indestructible and doubles as a catch all. I say I get way more use out of my PA, but my WOC brings me more joy and adds way more to an outfit!
I loveeeeee my WOC. I got the trendy CC WOC tho. I didn’t like how the classic WOC doesn’t have gromets and the leather sides start to go upward eventually. Plus it’s super long of a chain so you have to get creative to get it to the perfect length. The trendy cc WOC is very adjustable because of the gromets. Trendy cc WOC tho is a few hundred dollars more than the classic so it gets pretty pricey. For the PA, I’ve never been a fan, let alone for the price. It’s canvas. At least for chanel it’s leather… but that’s for me personally
I got the PA back in 2020 when it was $630 😬 I keep all my essentials in it and what I like most is that I usually transfer it from bag-to-bag I use almost like an organizer or toiletry pouch. However, if I'm in a hurry, I can just stick a crossbody strap on it and run - definitely an essential piece in my collection.
LV Pochette for sure. Just got it January this year. Before the price increase. I feel like the LV one is more versatile with its strap. But I do still want that WOC either the black or red eventually. Great video as always 🧡

I think the LV Pochette Monogram is the all-time best luxury intro purchase. I've never regretted buying mine. As you've demo'ed, it stores a ton, but is pretty casual. I recently purchased the LV Pochette accessories . I had been looking at the Chanel WOC. I own a Speedy 30 that I purchased years ago from LV and have enjoyed it. I was looking to downsize to a simple bag for everyday and pulled the trigger on the LV Pochette. Even with the price increase I could see myself using this bag more vs the Chanel WOC. Very happy with my purchase
The pochette accessories is a must. It fits alot for a small bag, goes w everything, lasts forever and is an all season bag. U can also play w different chain and straps for it and really dress it up or down.
Both are pretty purses and 1 is more classy imo. I recently purchased my WoC Chanel 19 and absolutely love it. The chains are so pretty n yet it can be dress up or down with different looks. Absolutely love both I say :)

I don’t mind canvas because to me I could use either with anything I wear. It’s just difficult for me to justify 3000 dollars really just for leather and it doesn’t hold as much as the pochette. Such an interesting comparison! Between these two, I much prefer the WOC. And even though it doesn’t pack as much, I still think it’s worth it’s current price. I can’t say the same for LV anymore. I have a Neverfull in empreinte leather and that comes with a pochette that I use much like you use the PA. It doesn’t have much depth but it still fits all my essentials as it’s quite a large pouch. Unlike the canvas pieces, the leather version holds its shape better to be a mini bag and the zipper doesn’t get wonky when you fill it up. The leather stretches and accommodates most essentials (card holder, mini hand sanitizer, keys, lipstick and sunglasses) with ease and I can add a variety of chains & straps to change up the look.
Lv pochette accessories and Chanel wallet on chain I own bought of them. My lv pochette accessories is old version I had for 9 yrs I bought pre-loved for $120 i love it to death. MY CHANEL WOC I DONT REALLY USE IT BCOZ I DONT FIT All my stuffes I need it. I sold it one of my friend. My lv is my forever bag. Thank you for comparison both of them.
WOC for me. I am moving away from monogram pieces, but I do have a mini Pochette and I love it. I also have an Alma BB in Damier Ebene. It really packs a punch. I’ve promised myself no more vachetta leather, so I sold my Pochette Metis. I’m trying to simplify my collection and get classic bags only.

This is a difficult one. I don't think either of them are worth their current prices. I have the LV MPA so in a sense I already own the PA, but I would NOT pay the current price for the MPA - $2700+ for canvas is not worth it. However, if I had to pick between the MPA of the Chanel WOC at their current prices. I'd pick the WOC because at least it is all leather, even though it fits less.
I know Chanel WOC is much more expensive, but it’s totally worth the $$. Especially compare it with Chanel classic bags. This one has the classic look and fits a lot essentials. I just bought it from our NY trip last month. Loving it so much. Super versatile, from running errands to evening outings. Go with all styles and colors. Best value for $$😉

The PA hands down, probably not at the current price. So glad purchased mine several years ago. Personally not a fan of the WOC, though about purchasing one many years ago, but didn’t seem to practical.
Great comparison as usual! I think ultimately the woc is more worth it because of the material and compartments but the PA is easier to grab and go and not have to play puzzle as much when packing it up. Both great bags though

I like the Chanel one better. I am saving up for it, it's probably the only Chanel bag I will ever purchase, the price point is just too much I cannot justify buying the flap/ boy bags, etc.
I love both! To me they serve different purposes. My PA in DA I have an Amazon organizer that has a lot of compartments and it takes up less space than the Zoomoni one I bought. After switching out the Zoomoni organizer I could fit a bit more. The PA can be used as a purse or a catch all in a larger bag. I do have different straps to dress the PA for different occasions. I think the PA has multi use while a woc is a woc. I don’t own a Chanel woc yet, but I do have a Coach woc and a YSL woc. The YSL woc is the same dimension as the Chanel woc with 3 less compartments (back pocket, flap zip deep pocket, pocket next to zip pocket). I use the wocs as wocs and I love how cute it looks, simple and easy. I feel both are functional in their own way and it’s good to have both. I can’t wait till the day I can own a Chanel woc! 😊

Part of me thinks I should keep saving for the Chanel woc because I’ve settled for less before and I end up still wanting the luxury version. In the case of wocs, I do love my Coach Anna/Hayden and YSL woc, but I still want a Chanel woc. The price is outrageous for what it is, but it is sooo pretty! I have both. My woc is just like yours except with gold hardware and I bought it when it was 1400. I bought the pochette acc when it was around 400. I’m so glad I bought them when I did. I use my woc more these days. Chanel has my heart right now but I have a good collection so I would like to be done especially with the price increases. But I know it’s not true! 😅 not sure if I can say which is better. What I can say is that I would buy the woc first if I didn’t already have both.
It’s the chanel woc for me, my first beloved chanel piece and I’m happy to wear it causal or dressed up. Not so keen on LV but I fell in love with the PA Damier Azur, it looks like it fits more but I don’t like it when the overall shape and zip distorts when it’s packed. PA is summery and had to buy a new strap to make it work for me but it’s the WOC that gives me butterflies

Between the two I would go for the LV Pochette, which I have and love. At the current prices I would not buy it however. I would go for the YSL WOC which I also love.
I have several WOCs and no PAs. But I have something similar to the PA from LV that I use all the time, so I think that per use, surpass my WOCs that I do rotate depending on the season.

I really wanted the discontinued Favorite but I couldn't do the preloved for so many reasons so I've been eyeing the PA at the stores but it was always unavailable and at one time I was showed one but it's in DA so I said no I want the MNG😪. Last Mother's Day we went to a Gucci outlet and I fall in love with the Gucci Soho Camelia. It cost me $1,080 with tax. It has the functions of the Favorite but in all light leather and less casual than the PA.
I own both and use my pochette more. I was fortunate enough to purchase it when it was $500… I love my Chanel WOC but don’t reach for much… I’m happy I own both. I don’t believe they worth the current prices today.
The WOC is pretty, but is literally a wallet on a chain. It barely holds any extra items. My pochette holds my sunglasses, phone, keys, small wallet, lipstick and hand sanitizer. On top of that I don’t worry about shoving it into my travel bag or wearing it in the rain. I think a channel mini comes closer in usage to the pochette than the WOC.
I think the woc is more worth it if it works for you. I had the woc and sold it. It was beautiful but the functionality was awful. Chain too long ( wrapping around flap can make bag flip upside down when opening) and storage too limited. I need space for glasses and it's not practical squeezing them in. The PA though, fits everything, can have different strap options, love it. I have the original (paid. $250) and the NM ( paid $500) . I don't think I would pay the current price though.
I bought the Eva clutch instead of the PA in 2014, and I got the WOC in 2016. But if I had to choose between these two now, I would rather pay more and get the Wallet on Chain.
Well when you put it that way…lol I got my PA back in early 2020 I believe - I paid $560 or $590 for the monogram and was not interested in the DA and had several opportunities to purchase it back then. Once it went up to $700+ I decided I did want the DA and told my SA but time went by and nothing. Once it hit over $900 I decided it wasn’t worth it. When it hit $1200+ I just laughed and scoffed. That said, I’m not batting an eye at dropping over 3k on a Chanel woc lol - I’ve actually been back and forth considering if to just bite the bullet with the DA PA bc it will just continue going up and it’s available now. I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it, I guess it’s just the fact that just 2 years ago is was less than half the price so I feel like a fool now if I decide to buy it. Comparing it to the woc puts it in another perspective so now I’m thinking maybe it is worth it, it does fit a bit more and I am more of a casual dresser so it will be practical for me. I still want the woc though, I think it’s very overpriced but nothing comes close to it for me in terms of the aesthetics - I like that the logo is really small and love the chain on it plus the versatility and that it is leather. It’s all relative when it comes to price isn’t it? 😂 I think that’s why I received requests to do this video, because as much as we don’t like that the PA is now nearly $1300, compared to the WOC’s price, it FEELS more affordable. 😅
I got the chanel classic woc 2 times and decided it's not for me. Deal breakers are snap button, super long chain, limited space, and i don't need the card slots..

WOC hands down, so much nicer. The Pochette Accessoires needs a different strap than what it comes with, so you have to buy extras to make it work if you have no other straps to use and I don’t believe you can dress it up; save a bit more and buy the Félicie Pochette if you want it for evening. Even the Double Zip Pochette is nicer. People generally pay for everything via phone these days or have their driver’s license or train card on an App., so it doesn’t even need to hold cards. I get the mini version but I’m surprised this is still available.

Thank you for sharing. I have a quick question - it seems to me that the bottom of the LV PA could "sink" over time because the material is relatively soft. Wondering if you have noticed that? Also, does the pattern on the sides look symmetrical (like the logo appears to be in the middle, etc.) a few PAs i looked at in the store seem to have an issue where the pattern on the sides look asymmetrical. The LV PA is a pouch so it’s definitely softer, not meant to be hard or structured. I love how malleable and soft the canvas is actually. But that gives it a casual vibe, unlike the structure and polish of the Chanel WOC. As for the symmetry of the monogram pattern, I’ve never seen a PA with lined up monogram! 😂
I’m not sure if this a fare comparison. The wallet on chain isn’t as pliable as the pochette. I think it would be a far comparison the wallet on chain to the Felicie. It’s like comparing the min pochette to the o pouch.
This comparison was specifically requested by those who love both pieces but are having a hard time deciding. The Felicie is a great option too but that wasn’t the ask.

They used to make them in epi leather but they don’t anymore. If you search, you can find some on the preloved market for decent prices (often under $600).
I love how much the PA fits. I can actually fit a mini umbrella in it with room left for my keys, my asthma inhaler and a pack of gum. On such a day, I will forgo a card holder and just stick them in the inner slip pocket.
It would be highly unlikely for me to purchase another Pochette Accessoires because they’re absolutely not worth their current selling price. $1,300 for fancy plastic? I think not. If I were buying either one of these today, it would most certainly the WOC.

And for the Chanel WOC, I’ve bought 3 and sold all of them because there’s other Chanel’s I always end up grabbing instead. They are so cute but just don’t fit enough for how much they cost now.
Wonderful review!! I had both and chose the WOC bcz of its esthetic and dressy look. But as soon as I purchased the Chanel 19 I sold the WOC and it has been my biggest regret since the price has increased, since I last purchased it.. I am really considering rebuying at retail. I love the PA as well but IMO it isn’t a dressy bag and I have not used it as such.

Have the WOC and bought preloved accesoires as WOC can still feel a bit showy day to day. Love the strap ideas for the lv !

The LV piece is my favorite. But don’t get me wrong I love my Chanel WOC. It is one of my Davis’s well. Such a great comparison.
Between the two I would go for the LV Pochette, which I have and love. At the current prices I would not buy it however. I would go for the YSL WOC which I also love.

I have several WOCs and no PAs. But I have something similar to the PA from LV that I use all the time, so I think that per use, surpass my WOCs that I do rotate depending on the season.
Rotating our bags is a job in itself! 😂

I really wanted the discontinued Favorite but I couldn't do the preloved for so many reasons so I've been eyeing the PA at the stores but it was always unavailable and at one time I was showed one but it's in DA so I said no I want the MNG😪. Last Mother's Day we went to a Gucci outlet and I fall in love with the Gucci Soho Camelia. It cost me $1,080 with tax. It has the functions of the Favorite but in all light leather and less casual than the PA.
I have a DE PA that I feel is more casual … I plan on getting a WOC for more chic nights out

I want to add the pochette accessoires in my collection but gosh now it's so expensive and i don't know if it's worth the price anymore.

I own both and use my pochette more. I was fortunate enough to purchase it when it was $500… I love my Chanel WOC but don’t reach for much… I’m happy I own both. I don’t believe they worth the current prices today.
The WOC is pretty, but is literally a wallet on a chain. It barely holds any extra items. My pochette holds my sunglasses, phone, keys, small wallet, lipstick and hand sanitizer. On top of that I don’t worry about shoving it into my travel bag or wearing it in the rain. I think a channel mini comes closer in usage to the pochette than the WOC.

I think the woc is more worth it if it works for you. I had the woc and sold it. It was beautiful but the functionality was awful. Chain too long ( wrapping around flap can make bag flip upside down when opening) and storage too limited. I need space for glasses and it's not practical squeezing them in.
The PA though, fits everything, can have different strap options, love it. I have the original (paid. $250) and the NM ( paid $500) . I don't think I would pay the current price though.
The PA definitely fits more! Especially if you need to fit your glasses, I agree, hands down the PA! 👍

I bought the Eva clutch instead of the PA in 2014, and I got the WOC in 2016. But if I had to choose between these two now, I would rather pay more and get the Wallet on Chain.

Well when you put it that way…lol I got my PA back in early 2020 I believe - I paid $560 or $590 for the monogram and was not interested in the DA and had several opportunities to purchase it back then. Once it went up to $700+ I decided I did want the DA and told my SA but time went by and nothing. Once it hit over $900 I decided it wasn’t worth it. When it hit $1200+ I just laughed and scoffed. That said, I’m not batting an eye at dropping over 3k on a Chanel woc lol - I’ve actually been back and forth considering if to just bite the bullet with the DA PA bc it will just continue going up and it’s available now. I know I’ll get a lot of use out of it, I guess it’s just the fact that just 2 years ago is was less than half the price so I feel like a fool now if I decide to buy it. Comparing it to the woc puts it in another perspective so now I’m thinking maybe it is worth it, it does fit a bit more and I am more of a casual dresser so it will be practical for me. I still want the woc though, I think it’s very overpriced but nothing comes close to it for me in terms of the aesthetics - I like that the logo is really small and love the chain on it plus the versatility and that it is leather. It’s all relative when it comes to price isn’t it? 😂 I think that’s why I received requests to do this video, because as much as we don’t like that the PA is now nearly $1300, compared to the WOC’s price, it FEELS more affordable. 😅
I got the chanel classic woc 2 times and decided it's not for me. Deal breakers are snap button, super long chain, limited space, and i don't need the card slots..

The Chanel gives a polished look but the LV is a work horse that is worry free and easy on your back. I prefer the Pochette Accessories.
WOC hands down, so much nicer. The Pochette Accessoires needs a different strap than what it comes with, so you have to buy extras to make it work if you have no other straps to use and I don’t believe you can dress it up; save a bit more and buy the Félicie Pochette if you want it for evening. Even the Double Zip Pochette is nicer. People generally pay for everything via phone these days or have their driver’s license or train card on an App., so it doesn’t even need to hold cards. I get the mini version but I’m surprised this is still available.
I agree the Felicie is a great option for a slightly dressier look!

Thank you for sharing. I have a quick question - it seems to me that the bottom of the LV PA could "sink" over time because the material is relatively soft. Wondering if you have noticed that? Also, does the pattern on the sides look symmetrical (like the logo appears to be in the middle, etc.) a few PAs i looked at in the store seem to have an issue where the pattern on the sides look asymmetrical. The LV PA is a pouch so it’s definitely softer, not meant to be hard or structured. I love how malleable and soft the canvas is actually. But that gives it a casual vibe, unlike the structure and polish of the Chanel WOC. As for the symmetry of the monogram pattern, I’ve never seen a PA with lined up monogram! 😂

I’m not sure if this a fare comparison. The wallet on chain isn’t as pliable as the pochette. I think it would be a far comparison the wallet on chain to the Felicie. It’s like comparing the min pochette to the o pouch.
This comparison was specifically requested by those who love both pieces but are having a hard time deciding. The Felicie is a great option too but that wasn’t the ask.

Do they sell the pochette accessories in leather? If so, I would definitely buy that over Chanel.
They used to make them in epi leather but they don’t anymore. If you search, you can find some on the preloved market for decent prices (often under $600).
I love how much the PA fits. I can actually fit a mini umbrella in it with room left for my keys, my asthma inhaler and a pack of gum. On such a day, I will forgo a card holder and just stick them in the inner slip pocket.

It would be highly unlikely for me to purchase another Pochette Accessoires because they’re absolutely not worth their current selling price. $1,300 for fancy plastic? I think not. If I were buying either one of these today, it would most certainly the WOC.

I really don’t know if I would pay $1290 for the Pochette accessoires. I didn’t even know it was at that price point now. I feel so lucky to have gotten it in 2020 at $630 🥲 it’s such an easy convenient little bag. And for the Chanel WOC, I’ve bought 3 and sold all of them because there’s other Chanel’s I always end up grabbing instead. They are so cute but just don’t fit enough for how much they cost now.
It is pretty insane how the price on the Pochette Accessoires jumped recently!
Wonderful review!! I had both and chose the WOC bcz of its esthetic and dressy look. But as soon as I purchased the Chanel 19 I sold the WOC and it has been my biggest regret since the price has increased, since I last purchased it.. I am really considering rebuying at retail. I love the PA as well but IMO it isn’t a dressy bag and I have not used it as such.
