This is THE BEST tutorial I've ever seen explaining everything from Printify to mockup creation, product design and Etsy listing. Been looking for something like this for months. Thank you Hannah! 💚
After watching like a million tutorials for weeks and weeks, your was the most straight forward, and easy, and different easy explanation tutorial! Thank you sooo much! May god bless your business :)
Thank you so much for such a clear step by step tutorial for mug designing that (an old girl of 60yrs lol) can start, so grateful I've found your channel to subscribe to. God bless Hannah, thank you once again!
This is an incredible video, easy to understand. I wanna add mugs to my store but I was hesitating, I'll definitely try it but with awkward styles instead, lol. They are a bit cheaper, but printify is my second option. Thanks a lot Hannah
I've been following you for a bit now and realized you are a fellow Grand Rapidian! Just starting out my POD journey and your vids are really informative and helpful!
I have been overwhelmed by all the information that's out there. I have decided to use your videos over others because I felt I was going down the "POD Rabbithole" from the other videos I have watched. Your videos are soft spoken and easy to understand while others are pumping out at Light Speed. I have PTSD and your videos are refreshing thank you.
Thanks so much for the positive feedback! There is tons of content out there (even on my own channel), so just take what you need at the moment and come back when you’re ready for more!
Ok thank you! I thought, this takes me so long, wonder if I am doing this all wrong. Guess not 😂🤣💖 you rock for showing the whole process, I have never seen a video that has done that. Thank you
Great videos they are really helpful for me as I used to view merch Titans and found a few trademarked words which we can't use like cute and gift Keep up the good work 👍😄
Such a helpful and informative video! I can't wait to try the cross niche ideas. Thanks so much for taking the time to go through this process. I learned some more new tips to help with my store. Thanks!!
Another question; if you are selling two different items, mug and t-shirts, how do you manage to combine listings in an order? In terms of shipping, etc. Does offering free shipping once a certain price has been met make it difficult with combined orders? Thank you!
This video was so helpful thank you . Another question when you split the shipping and by that do you mean you’ll be adding that difference into your price ? So instead of 12.99 would you change it to 14.99 to cover the shipping ?
Thank you for this! I have not tried using the Kittl template, but am confused about the dotted lines that indicate where the right center and left center is on the Printify template.... I notice there are no dotted lines in the Kittl template.. how important are those dotted "right center", "left center" lines? I have been using the method of finding the middle of my design, then making sure the "right" "left" dotted lines fall in the middle of the design... it always looks good in the non-context preview, but it doesn't look right in the context preview... do you have any thoughts or suggestions about this? I am finding mugs to be a little confusing.. don't want to sell anyone a bad product.. thank you so much!!
hannah do you think it is too late for Christmas? i recently opened my store and ave 34 listings, none of them are christmas. do you think i should start working on Christmas or is it late
Thank you Hannah, this is really helpful, but could you maybe use a better mic so it’s easier to understand you. The content is great and I love the level of detail you describe.
Hi, great video and a ton of good info. Building a shop and going for broke. Was wondering, if I'm pretty good with Photoshop or other such programs, do I need Kittl and or Canva. I have AI access and art skills, so the imaging and formatting is all kinda in my wheelhouse. They seem like fantastic tools for those that aren't quite as proficient with the more advanced tools. Just wondering if I missed something key about the image formatting process? Again, great video.
Thank you for such clarity! I created a mug step by step with you for my first time. When I hit publish, it’ll say publishing but it keeps coming back unpublished. Please help, what am I doing wrong? TIA
Hi! Great video. Quick question. I noticed that the search volume for bird watcher mug was super low. Would an item like this still sell if it doesn’t seem people are searching for it?
There is a chance of it selling, although you probably won't sell a lot of them. You have a higher chance of selling that particular mug if it is unique and there are few mugs listed with those search terms. I was successful selling creepy Halloween plates because I was the only one selling them. They were a pain to make though, so I didn't make more than a handful.
I’ve been doing print on demand for a while and have not sold one item. Prices are to high. There is way to much competition that will undercut your prices on Etsy and Shopify.
Agreed Mugs are easy so there's a lot of competition. Pricing is the only way to compete but even at the lowest price without 1,000s of listings the ROI is minimal.
Hi Hannah! I just ordered my first mug as a sample from Printify and it seems a little blurry. I followed the instructions about the pixels and DPI. Is this common? Maybe I'm a bit more critical but I want to feel good about the quality before I start live listing in Etsy.
Hi! Great video! Is there a way of getting the product shipped with the logo of my store? I mean, the provider will send the produxt, so i never get to see it or hold ot, but i'd like to at least send them with a sticker of my logo in the wrapping.
Love this video but I have a question....Printify told me a while back when I contacted them about an issue that any title or descriptions have to be done in printify and it will upload onto etsy....but I see you are editing it right in etsy. Does it make a difference? Would doing it while in printify be better for the SEO? Is there a benefit search wise of doing it right in etsy? not sure why they would have told me that...I never do it in etsy since they told me that.
@@hannahebeling ok thank you. I do. I just need to upload my designs but for some reason I have 3 storefronts but when I click on Etsy it says it doesn’t exist . 😭I hit a bump so gotta start over somewhere
Its about volume and a numbers game, list every day new product and to have hundreds or thousands of listings, then you will make 5 or 6 figures according to the experts. And of course good products, keywords, tags descriptions etc.
Hi! Can you show us how to completely wrap the mug with a design on printify? I've tried to do it & it leaves an unwrapped space where the handle is. Thanks!
Great content! Very helpful. A question. You suggested pricing mugs at $12.99. I recently sold a mug priced at $15.50 where the production partner was Printful. Printful charged me $14.44 and Etsy deposited $13.61, so I made a LOSS of $0.83 ! 😪🤔. (Obviously, had I listed at $12.99 I would have lost even more.) How to avoid this in the future? Did it occur because I used Printful but with Printify it would not occur? Also, even Printify state that their white mug starts from $4.40 - meaning it could cost even more ?
You have to factor in all the cost in order to know what you will earn. I read to look at different print on demand companies to get the best price. You clearly didn't do the math correctly to understand what you would be earning. No hate, just saying, your math has to be right so this doesn't happen, make sure you understand all the charges, on the POD and Etsy side.
@hannah… how do you handle when the quality of the print on demand item your customer receives is not up to standard I have heard a few horror stories of people ordering products that were created in a print on demand situation in the images not right or the quality is not what they expected with Etsy. A bad review can really kill your shop. Any suggestions or guidance you can offer?
One of the things I like about being linked to printify is that they will make it right every time if there was something that happened with the manufacturing. I try to take care of customer issues promptly and effectively and typically they are very happy!
Tell me this.??..How can an image be generated by A.I ,edited, the title checked for trademark etc, and got rejected by Amazon, I re-edited and used A.I for the title and bullet points, rejected twice, and don't want to lose my account.., simple religious design nativity scene inside a wreath ;-(
Not sure if Etsy are still doing it, but they did experiment with inserting photos with links to other sellers’ similar listings in spare photo slots. The only way to stop this would be to fill all 10 slots…
Yes they do. I sell a lot of mugs. I offer free shipping... charge 24.99-28.99 more when I put on a sale. 2 ppl just bought a mug at 32.99 I had forgot to start the sale but let me see ppl buy what they want.
You make the same mistake like 81% of the RUclipsrs do: You are talking endless without any interruption. It seems that you have to hurry to finish your job. Older people like me have big problems to follow you coz we have no time to think about what you just said. We are the generation who still want to think... Same here😑
Totally disappointing plus grrrr

If you integrate with printify, they have some great options to add personal branding.
Does kittl have same png resolution like canva after downloaded?96dpi? If yes, how you.deal with it coz many POD sites ask for 300dpi
Kittl lets you set your DPI. You can do it in the beginning when you are setting up your canvas or when you are getting ready to download.

Does Canva have the same sizes as kittl
If you have a pro Canva account you can make a custom canvas size for mugs! You just need to look at the exact size on Printify!

4 or 5 dollars profit hardly seems worth it unless you can sell hundreds a week. Seems more like "hobby" money than a business.
Its about volume and a numbers game, list every day new product and to have hundreds or thousands of listings, then you will make 5 or 6 figures according to the experts. And of course good products, keywords, tags descriptions etc.
I LOVE your videos. Do you know if you can link printify to tiktok shop?
Yes! This is a brand new feature which is super cool! I haven't utilized it yet, but it is definitely worth experimenting with.
Hi! Can you show us how to completely wrap the mug with a design on printify? I've tried to do it & it leaves an unwrapped space where the handle is. Thanks!
With mugs you are typically going to have the image stop by the handle because of the way they are produced.
I have some beautiful photos of my own that I would like to use. Do any sites like Printify allow for upload of our own images?
Yes, absolutely!
When selling on esty do you sell all your niches you working on in one store or you make multiple esty accounts for every niche?
I actually do a mix! I have a general shop and some niche specific stores for niches that have done really well. But starting general is a good idea!

I actually have a full tutorial on this! Called Etsy Printify integration!
What is the name of your shop?
So do you not order the mug to see what it looks like in person?
You totally can ahead of time! I’ve sold this style mug for a long time and love the quality.
How do u upload mock on etsy
If you click edit listing, it will bring you to the page where you can update any info. There is a photo section where you can click add more photos .

My only question is what about making sure you have ten pictures on your listing?
You totally can make that many, but I tend to like to focus on getting more listings up than getting 10 mock-ups for every product.
@@hannahebeling interesting, I’ve been working so hard to get the ten mocks….if I don’t need it then I’ll definitely stop 😂
