2 Questions: the 12 volt feed from the radio you used is that like "blue/white connect to system control terminal" that only comes on when ignition in accessory mode ? typical used to connect to say an amp and what do you mean about antenna wire not being terminated ?
Do you need to disable DAB antenna power if you use the 12V line of the antenna itself? I know on the Sony unit here, that is an option you can toggle on or off.
I have replaced my aerial on my ford focus 2006 with a digital one, The reception is terrible constantly in and out. In your video you say some cars might not be suitable for digital aerials. Is my ford focus unsuitable or do i need my aerial at the back. Thanks
Yes, this is the second one of these aerials I've used and it has been very good. The model in the video is the Kinetic DRA-6001 from dabonwheels. This doesn't appear to be on their website at the moment and the similar DRA-6006 is out of stock - but you could ask them if it's coming back or if they have an alternative? They are quite good at replying to enquiries. There are similar aerials by JVC and Calearo. I'm afraid I've not tried those so would see if there are any reviews and check with a retailer whether they come with the cables or if you need to buy them separately. Thanks.
I’ve just installed this one today, exactly like the one in the video but with the spare length of wiring works like a dream excellent signal where usually I’d get nothing but static Eightwood DAB Car Aerial DAB... www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0739XWBN7?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
great video this answers a few questions I had from other ones on YT Cheers

Thanks for a very helpful video. I used silicone and now it leaks a few drops, do you think it is better to use grease, as you did?
Wow Chris Peckham is fitting car aerials.

Does it have FM as well
Which fuse did you fit into the fuse holder?
10a fuse will be sufficient for the small amount of current draw.

You have a heated front windscreen so stick on windscreen aerials wont work. Same as gps signals struggle with heated front screens
You have had this fitted for a while now, would you recommend it?
