This comic is all speculation, an AU! We don't know anything about the collector or if that doodle Dana drew on the stream is collectluz, as the fandom calls this theory. So just keep in mind that.

I love how the whole fandom just agreed that the collecter would possess luz, bill cipher style

Being that gravity Falls and the owl house are probably my two favorite shows Disney has ever made I find it awesome that the fandom has agreed that the collector is just going to possess luz bill cipher style
With a little Darcy style on the side

So far I’ve read a few theories and they’re all really cool!:

I love it! Collector Luz is just a cool idea. And it looks good too!

I'm actually writing a story with the concept of Luz and the Collector meeting up with each other. I just love the concept that much. In my version, Luz isn't quite so easy to trick. She's read fantasy so she knows a villain when she sees one. It basically takes every trick in the Collector's toolbox and more to break her down and even that's not quite enough.
can you tell the name and where i can read it?

This... would be hilarious & probably make everyone either very happy or very disappointed. xD Perhaps Dana is just messing with us again. But jumping head first into a theory while a show is still airing is all part of the fun!
As much as I want Collector Luz to happen, I admit, this is funny.

I've seen this idea getting really popular lately and I would love to see something like your video happening in cannon, it just makes sense for her to do that kind of thing to protect the others.

Collector: Well, I suppose I worded it wrong. I’d just be able to take control of you whenever I please
Luz: Why on *earth* would I agree to this deal??
Collector: Come on Luz…we both know you have families in both worlds. Families who love you

Collector: And it’s been so SO long since I’ve had a body! To think, I’ve just been a soul! Wandering the boiling isles! For hundreds of years…it’s just been really hard

Collector: Are you sure that’s what you want?
Luz: It’s my only hope!
Collector: Well, the spell you seek requires a magical contract, I could give it to you, but once you return to Earth, you *must* give me something in return.
Luz: What do you want then?
Collector: My freedom.
Luz: WHAT?!
Collector: I know it’s a lot to ask, but I’ve just been here for so long all by myself, I want to buy my own chocolate, or those little shrink-wrapped muffins at the bottom. Mmm!
Luz: But these are the titan’s bones. I can’t free you.
Collector: A deal between two witches is stronger than any titan. Now, do you want to learn the spell?
**Collector extends a hand to Luz. Luz takes Collector’s hand, and a magic circle forms around their hands. Both of their necklaces start glowing. After a few moments, the circle vanishes, and their necklaces stop glowing.**
Collector: Come close. Now... **utters the spell**.... And aim it directly at the eclipse.
**Collector disappears within the bones again**

This is such a cool idea and if it happens in the show, I'll scream.
I do believe this might still happen, as a way to limit their power.

The collector in the end didn't need any host he can be free with his own physical form but based on someone...
Manifesting that this happens. It would such a good storyline when the protag becomes the antag and now the side characters need to safe the world.

If the theory does become canon which I hope so this is how I think it’s going to happen collector making a deal to luz about protecting her friends and family if she gives up her body to the collector and i really wished that Luz would have a good and happy episode without trauma and going through pain and not being sad but I’m really interested about this theory and if we’re all being honest we’re all scared if this becomes canon

i’m pretty dana drew a sketch in a livestream, and the fandom assumed the drawing to be luz possessed by the collector. now everyone is getting crazy but really interesting theories 😭

Very nicely done I you're work here keep it up though I must say given being recently played by Belos and having made a deal with him in the past before it doesn't seem within Luz's character to trust in the Collector even if they did have a way to travel between worlds Luz's current priority is to stop the day of unity.
