I'm wonder if it's possible to make a plenum like setup for BEAMS ITB setups, along the lines of the airbox for the Silvertop/Blacktop 4As for the sake of being able to run a proper cold air intake
Thanks for the response! I never would've thought of that, great idea! Also, I'm very much debating buying myself a rolling SR5, the owner had a BEAMS he was going to put in it, he has the mounts and all, but he abandoned the project, selling it for 4k, do you think that's a good price for that? (interior is stripped, but the body is okay condition) And what are some common traps for getting stuck in a swap like this? I'll admit I'm not too experienced with the whole engine swapping stuff, but I have tons of time and passion for undertaking this.
You're welcome! I think where most people get stuck is the wiring. It's also very discouraging spending several years to try to get a car running and driving. Wiring, driveshaft, exhaust, and some cooling system routing are the "custom bits" that are left on that project probably. Panic Made does plug and play wiring and ECU combos that make things really easy. I have a video playlist where I go over some of this stuff, take a look! ruclips.net/p/PLg5RKljeFxG6rbY9nw5S5RMkoyYkFEcT9&si=gHqMUKP4z3NicEYK
Pipercross or ITG are great filters for ITBs

Probably! I looked at getting a Pulsar gti-r plenum to adapt to a beams itb setup at one point.

I have a ke70 with a 3sge. The engine sits too hard against the fire wall for me to use the pipercross filter. Anybody goy any recommendations?
Mine is also rhd so my master cylinder is in the way😢😢😂
Oo that's a hard one. I'm not sure. @speedacademy made their own filter backing plate for their Celica, you might have to do something like that?
@@DoctoredGarage I'll have a look into it. I'm sure I'll figure something out haha cheers man.
