One of the two greats of the 40s-60s I never heard live, (Heufetz was the other but he had pretty much retired.) Francescatti was just never where I was.
I love all the arguments about violinists and about who plays what the best, but all lists it seems to me must include Francescatti. That guy was as good as anyone playing.

Bravo bravo bravo brilliance fantastic super virtuoso music
Definitely one of the greatest ever. One bad note a second before the end mars the perfection.
2:02, the best execution of this hard passage!!! I dont hear other as good like this one!!!
I'm speechless... What a fantastic performance!!! I want to be like that one day...
Asuka Hirai what about now?
Did you ever become like him?
Un colosso . Musicalissimo anche nel virtuosismo più impervio...
Stupendo, credo l'interpretazione più musicale ed affascinante che abbia mai sentito.
One of favourite violinists - this wonderful to see and hear. Thanks
Fantastico Zino!
Grande Zino ! Che tecnica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incredible!! I have never heard anything like that.
PARABENS MESTRE!!MUITO SUSSESO 🎉❤😮🎉😮
My heart was racing!
Extraordinaire ! C est bien supérieur a Heifetz !
Absolutely Amazing!
Amazing violin!
Superb is too weak to describe such a performance. I have strong impression that Zino could pound nails with his bare fingers without any hammer.
Wow ¡Qué Genial!
Exceptionally !
Have this in vinyl ***** Thaks for putting online!
Extraordinaire.
robotnik77- well you've elicited a laugh & nod from me, as that was precisely my thought when the video concluded. Excellent way to begin my day.
Why has this video been cut short ?
At the end Zino adjusts his lapel and bows, such humility from one of the greats. But all this deleted.
Where can I find this full version of the video?
I didn't think there were any recordings better than vengerov's.
I was wrong.

We can see..he was brilliant
Wow! Far better than Vengerov or Perlman.
l'un des trois grands du XX° siècle avec Kreisler et Oistrakh
Et …
Now that was fun, wasn't it?
Unbelievable.
What's the year of this recording?
خیلی زیبا
What's that strident sound at about the 3rd to the 4th second ?!! Mistake?
J Z preassure near the bridge
Basically the only evidence that the player is human. ;--)
@saintmichael104 It's just the quality of the video.
is it just me or is his bow REALLY warped...?
It's the distortion of the camera lens creating that effect.
