Why in the world did they allow their designs to create an awful nightmarish battery change idea? Crazy! What was wrong with a simple pop off the back and pull it out battery?

@@clause8272bro...it's got nothing to do with Water-proofing. It's because they want to make $$$. Just like you will when people realize where TF are they going to get all the crazy tools YOU used to do this. Yeah, it's cheaper to BUY A NEW REFURBISHED PHONE than buy all this crap.
Oh dear, thought i might be able to do it myself. Not so sure i want to take the chance. My phone still works, so will look around and see how much a professional will charge. Good video though!
I'm thinking the cost of buying a suction cup, separation tool, isopropyl alcohol, adhesive, mini screw driver and battery would be around $35 with no guarantee of success! Hence, I'm my opinion we'd be better off buying a new phone. A new unlocked and guaranteed A50 can be purchased from Samsung for $129 with your trade in.
It's how I've decided to go, my time and the agitation alone that I know I'd experience changing out my battery simply isn't worth it!

Is it not required to replace charge controller when replacing a battery? I remember years ago my HTC phone did not last longer with the new battery until I replaced the charge board with te controller... Is it model dependent?

Thanks for the instructions! Why did they make batteries so hard to replace? They're still batteries.. they need replacing when they fail. Putting that much heat around electronics and the battery is kind of sketchy.

my battery was bubbly from water damage which badly interfered with the speaker , sometimes have to tap it into action ..so it will be replaced soon for free ( I buy battery) all good can't wait !
