Samsung A50 cannot turn on. Connect to a computer with USB and it still fails to boot up and charge. The current for power on is zero.After a series of testing, we find out that it is caused by a small part.

My only reverse tip for you guys is to clean the camera lenses when reassembling, since after the back cover goes on, the user can not do it. I usually make them dirty by accident haha!!

Great job, just wondering how he made the first conclusion that the main power IC was not working and from then on how did he know that the clock oscillator was not working?
I'm not sure somebody can correct me but i think he tried all possible places this problem could be coming from and then he left with this two things so he went for it , i don't think you can check them for sure
He could've checked for VPH at the power switch line and assumed VPH is ok and good and concluded it to be a problem with the PMIC .

Power managemen unit IC is bad, but first of all, allways need to check crack condensator, varistor, temperature sensor. Vbat, Vsens, V_core, V_reg, rtc frequency, V_sim, thats value need to check before change pmu, need to use osciloscope

I bought galaxy a50 about a year ago for 20k..on 23 oct my phone got hung while playing RUclips and after a few seconds it switched off automatically .I went to samsung care, initially they told me that it was a minor software issu but after inspection they told me to replace the mother board for 9000 rs. Now galaxy A50 cost 14k and the cost of service is 9000. Totally lost my mind and I am never gonna buy samsung product in my life. Before galaxy A50 I was using redmi note 3 for around 3 years and got a replacement of rs. 2800in flipkart. Buying samsung was my worst decision ever.

Both the PM IC and charging IC can cause the issue. Try to replace them in the first place.

Hello sir! My samsung A50 wont turn on. I tried the force restart, still nothing happens. I also tried connecting it to a power source, still nothing happens. Do you think that the motherboard is the reason why it remains unresponsive? Too bad I can't bring it to a repair center due to the pandemic and lockdown. You can flash(run system re-installation) your phone, since software faulty also might cause not turning on issue.

I don't really know the reason why it happened. My phone was out of battery that day, and I thought leaving it drained will not affect my phone. But I was wrong, I honestly didn't know what happened, I charged it hoping that it would turn on, sadly it didn't.
