omg i just realized from 4:20-4:32 that is where he is lip singing.proof is in his songs u hear a double duo with his voice and the track but suddenly u just hear the track going on that high note. great snger either way tho but it was a bit of a shock.
its not a lip sync. Its a backing track. Watch the actual dvd. Its explained there. To the other guy. this is from the 2008 concert . not recital. you can label whatever you want. its youtube.
Most of this is done in post production. Kind of like other bands live cds. Kiss alive comes to mind. Just to explain. yes. when he is singing there is a harmony part, but clearly only one person doing said part. Usually when it comes to that. The keyboardist usually has samples of backing harmonies/melodies. You can tell he is actually singing because sometimes his harmonies don't match or he is out of pitch/vibrato. good performance nonetheless, but yeah most of these big Japanese bands do this, plus they post edit their DVD shows like a mother.
