The first 6 CLRVs (4000-4005) including 4001 were built by SIG in Switzerland. The remaining 190 (4010-4199) were built by Hawker Siddeley in Thunder Bay.

I wish I was there Alex! I might go to the Hillcrest garage to do a video! I miss those old TTC streetcars I remember riding them for years back then before they retired. Hope you had a great time!

The Hillcrest Complex/Harvey Shop will be open to the public again on September 17th but admission is like $5, I might not go but it might be your chance

Hey Alex, how awesome is that, to have had the opportunity to attend this event in person and view and experience these old streetcars and buses, how did you find out about it? I had no idea is there a place online that lists upcoming events related?

@@AlexGetsAroundTO No worries!! I will do a search to see if any of our buses have solar! It's a huge interest for me. I went into psychology for a career but I also love urban planning and transit and alternative modes of transportation. Huge fascination for me! Cheers!! 🙂
