    Must appreciate the skill and innovative techniques. Even if it works half the life of a new one, still great, as they have added value and given life to a dead battery. Of course, nobody from the West will go there to buy it, it's made for locals who can't afford a new battery. When you're fighting with hunger, the environment & health risks go down the drain.

      one consistent i see in these videos is people defending the kind of unsafe hack work. yes, i do a lot of these type things in my back yard. i only have to pull it off once. i seriously doubt that someone 70 years old enjoys having to face this type of wage slavery for the rest of their lives. they have a lot to look forward to.
      i have done unsafe work and i have the scars to prove it. small injuries may not be seen, cuts, broken fingers, repetitive motion (acid burns) but they make life miserable and hard to move, focus etc. doesnt matter what the defenders say its still unsafe prehistoric methods other countries stopped doing at the turn of the 20th century.

    The number of plates determine the voltage, if you noticed they got one box of plates of one size.
    You can’t just fill the cavity with plates until it is full. The rebuilt batteries will have a lower current rating and should work as well as they are made.

      The number of plates determines the capacity, internal resistance and thus current capability (CCA), but not the voltage! More plates - better battery!

    • @billguernsey6419
      @billguernsey6419 11 месяцев назад

      @@ГеоргиХристов-г6р then you’ll need to explain how placing two 6 volt batteries in series makes 12 volts. (That’s twice as many plates in series.)

    • @ГеоргиХристов-г6р
      @ГеоргиХристов-г6р 11 месяцев назад +10

      @@billguernsey6419 You should understand what is parallel and series connection, what is electrochemical cell and what is a battery of cells. Inside a single cell all plates of certain polarity are connected in parallel. Adding more plates (in place of that plastic garbage) increases current capability of a cell, but does not increase the voltage!

    • @billguernsey6419
      @billguernsey6419 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@ГеоргиХристов-г6р you do understand the concept of two? Any increase requires a doubling of plates, since the chamber was 2/3 full you can’t because physical restrictions don’t allow the required plates to add capacity. Any plates that are not equally matched by others will not contribute to the whole since current output is limited by the series of least capacity. So no you can not just add plates in an unmatched way. One third is available not one half.

    Банки друг с другом не герметичны. Как бы не было круто многое из их работы но... Как оно работать будет. Мне интересна тема восстановления яккумулятора. Но у них прежние корпуса а пусковой ток меньше и емкость тоже, и электролит из банки в банку переходит. В одной будет больше а в другой вообще мало будет от тряски авто

      I've watched plenty of these videos, I'm pretty sure most of hose replacement plates are brand new.
      There are videos where they make their own plates from scratch.
      And yes, it's as bad as it sounds, people breathing in lead oxide dust without much care.
      Oh, now I see.
      Yeah, those are used plates, weird how they are not using the brand new plates, I guess those batteries are on the cheaper end, because I know they also have access to "new" plates.

    They're downsizing the battery . Not only are the plates smaller , but the number of plates are less , space made up with padding 18:32 . Buyer be aware capacity is about half that of original battery. It would be the same amount of work to use correct size plates and no padding , the battery would be same capacity as original.

    In 90% of the countries in the world, you would be in such trouble with the law if you were killing an adolescent like that with the exposure to lead. No gloves, no respirators, no nothing. That child will not reach the age of 30 with what they are doing to him. Sadly in the 10% of the remaining countries, there are no laws against lethal work practices such as this. The sad part is, instead of being in school, this child has been working in this death camp instead, so he doesn't even know that what they are having him do is killing him.

      That kid has to be at least 12 or 14 anyhow. The old guy working next to him is his 28yr old dad 😉
      Good thing is way thr plates were still all sulphated over so those will last 3 or 4 years and starts out at about 70% of power vs a new one...😂
