Lana you are my new go to for learning motorcycle skills 🙂👍 ive seen many instructors & some good/ some not so good , im happy ive found You 👍😄 I like your teachings! Cheers from Bundaberg Australia 🇦🇺🍹🏍 ✨️
Hint to international viewers: A US parking space is usually 549 cm x 274 cm. That's why you may have found some of the exercises a bit challenging. In many countries a parking space is typically 500 cm x 250 cm. Beginners can increase the distance between the cones to 300 cm.
You're absolutely right, none of these skills are anything special. Unfortunately, in many countries, including the US, motorcycle license requirements are not as strict as in Europe. And then many riders don't think of going back to those exercises even if they went through them in the licensing course. Finally, every exercise can be done at a different level of difficulty, and I recommend my viewers to challenge themselves with tighter turns than they're comfortable with or slowing down the slow race exercise beyond what they think they can do.

Start with the first gear. Approach this as a typically riding. If you can switch to the second, your slalom is not challenging enough. Make it shorter (reduce a distance between every cone by one foot) or offset every second cone by one foot. This way you continue improving on your lean and clutch control.
Great video as all the others. Clear and direct to the more important points to improve everyone's riding skills.!!
Great video as usual Lana!! Really appreciate your time and efforts in sharing your insights and skills. Thanks

Thank you! I do need to remember that not every country is built the same.
Thanks for this video. In the Netherlands, this is all part of the driver's license exam. But I still practices sometimes

This is great stuff. Now if I can just get this nimble with my R18!
Last Sunday, I competed in a police rodeo, where I had the only bike that wasn't a Harley. I didn't win.
@@LanaOnWheels Thanks for inspiring me. :)
Looks a lot like exercises from European exam

when doing slalom, what gear I should be in?
