    Brilliant design, but definitely pricey. I'm almost tempted to buy it anyway.

    Didn’t know about this. Seems like a good replacement for the cheap laser level tripod I use with my Oly 35 RC

      Hello Matt, Thank you for your comment. This would work well with a 35 RC. It could also be used as a mic stand or a web cam tripod etc.

    I own two of them, they have a very sturdy ball.
    I didn't see in yours the slit in the base of the main section to insert a coin that acts like a lever for a strong tightening of the ballhead.

      indeed, the coin slot was dropped from the design at some point. there have also been a couple of revisions on the camera connection, even on vintage ones.
