The Subaru Baja Turbo is a very interesting car. Today I'm reviewing the Subaru Baja to show you why the Baja is so great -- and I'm going to show you all around the Subaru Baja Turbo. Then I'm going to drive the Baja and explain what it's like to drive Subaru's odd car-truck combo.

Holy **** as soon as I read that I realised that IS why I bought a Baja. Subconsciously. To out-run a rex, something that used to give me chronic nightmares as a kid. wow. If I had a therapist they'd call this a breakthrough.

    • @VramanNoodles
      @VramanNoodles 4 года назад +154

His rating system (or rather the DOUG SCORE) is stupid because the most important thing that takes place is looks and performance, and that's what Doug cares about. He likes the super cars and all those Lambos. I hate all super cars except the Ferrari and Aston Martin, but the cars I like are the old cars [the 1970 ones.] The most important thing for cars is practically, reliability, and storage.

    • @bakatazz
      @bakatazz 4 года назад +156

VramanNoodles Brawl Stars that is your opinion. He has mentioned that the Doug Score is biased towards faster cars and super cars, so live with it. I agree that maybe he should have 2 different versions, one for fast cars and one for practical cars, but that probably won’t happen. Plus, it is the DOUG Score, not the EVERYBODY Score. Basically, every one has their own opinion, and the Doug Score is based around his. Also, not everyone thinks that practicality is the most important thing for a car, that is your opinion.

    Few recommendations:
    - Ford Flex (w/ EcoBoost)
    - Subaru Outback LL Bean Edition (02-04)
    - Isuzu Amigo
    - Chevy Lumina van (94-96)
    Edit:
    My reasoning
    Ford Flex:
    - So roomy
    - Literally 4 sun/moonroofs/skylights
    - 365hp
    - Seats 7
    - quirky styling
Subaru Outback L.L. Bean Edition (02-04)
    - I have one my grandma left me w/ original window sticker
    - H6-3.0 (212hp)
    - Dual moonroofs
    - Bean branding on manual cover, leather seats, exterior, etc.
    - This gen is EVERYWHERE, but no one talks about them
    - I have a 2002 w/ 230,000 miles
    - The fancier VDC model had a McIntosh branded stereo by Clarion
    - Is hella fancy for 2002
    Isuzu Amigo
    - My first car was a 1990
    - Cute and spunky w/ 5 speed
    - Removable hard top like Bronco
    - Barely any features
    - Hella fun to drive
    Chevy Lumina van
    - My grandma had a red 1996 when I was little and it took an Elk like a boss haha
    - that styling tho
    - Windshield larger than Rhode Island
    - looks WAY better after facelift
    - Pointy doors are dangerous lol
    - Built in baby seat
    - Had power sliding door in 1996 or so
    - Seriously just LOOK at it. I thought it was so cool as a child when she got it new because my parents drove like an 81 Mercury and an old ford work truck.

Yeah, you could ditch the stupid bars and have a double walled tail gate to mimic the extender function and it would be perfect. It was done before, i forget the mini truck that had that as an option (obviously for the same reasons) and it's stupid simple. The tail gate goes down, you pull from the main hinge by a lever the half up, and then from the inside two sides spring to make up for the gaps left and right. Thicker tailgate, yes, but it's not in the middle of your bed when not in use...i think it was a Toyota...i think.
