  • Finally back in Nepal!
I’d been straining at the bit to get back to the Himalayas - my favourite place to trek - through the whole pandemic, so I was overjoyed to finally make it back to Nepal.
The first half of this trip is the Annapurna Circuit. I did this before in 2002 so I can show you how things have changed after 20 years. The second half is to the Annapurna Sanctuary. This was new to me and had been on my bucket list for years.

Quite a trek! Thanks for the great coverage, I so want to visit Nepal before I get too old. What was the age range of folks on this walk? Amazing altitude swings. Thanks again🙏🏻Elmer- Seattle

I don't know the ages of the others, but I was 59 and there were probably some older and some younger. I would say that you need to be used to hillwalking and be comfortable with doing that day after day for the length of the trek. Nepal is relentless up and down.

Beautifully done, but you sure drove a lot of it. Missed a few beautiful villages and miles of trails. Seems that's almost the norm these days.

Nice! Still... don't understand a single word bc your accent. Are you Welsh?

I'm English - I don't have an accent! But if you're a foreigner who struggles to understand English, I have provided English subtitles for the first time with this video.

What is it with these climbers that they have to tell you about every meal? Geez

I remember including 2 stills of a sample menu at one teahouse, otherwise where did I tell you about a single meal?
