This is how ive felt playing the reignited trilogy on (a shitty) PC while simultaneously exploring every bit of lag as a potential glitch spot. Except I set all my settings to not make my computer lag and so I don't get a headache from it. Also, the tutorials aren't so fucking obnoxious. Some fucked up shit went down behind the scenes, most developers were starving, their health insurance was cut without them even knowing, Universal rejected over 25 different worlds that they had already developed, the CEO of the company that developed the game choked one of his employees over some dumb shit... they did what they could with the tools and timeframe they were given. There’s a documentary about the development of this game somewhere out there I forgot the name but it’s over an hour long and has some of the developers in it explaining what went down

This game was my first spyro game
This was the only Spyro game I owned as a kid... I thought it was good
I might have just been lucky, but back when I had this I never had any major bugs. Maybe it was the disc. Maybe my playstation, or maybe the planets aligned for me. Don't know, don't care because it made this game playable and at least somewhat enjoyable for me at the time.
I remember when I bought this I turned it on and straight back off the lag annoyed me way too much I actually thought the disk was scratched or something lmao
Legend says that if you remove the last two words of the videos title a army of angry spyro fans will drag you to the same lava in riptos rampage but not before obliterating the enter the dragonfly game
Never knew this game was seen as a catastrophe for the series...me and my sister had the best times with this game in our childhood...maybe its a good thing I never played the other parts, so this will stay in a better memory 😂
Even when i was a little kid i wound ways to glitch thro stuff😂
Only thing I like about this game is the music. Especially the soothing home world music 🙂
Basically, it's all the fun of this and much less of the pain. 10/10 would recommend. hopefully you'll have a PC-compatible controller because all i have is a mouse and keyboard.
EDIT: Spoke before the first major graphical glitch....oh god
I would genuinely a proper reworking of this game
First 3D Spyro I ever played. Never beat it tho.
I wish they would remaster this game
I loved this game as a kid I can't believe everyone hated it
Some fucked up shit went down behind the scenes, most developers were starving, their health insurance was cut without them even knowing, Universal rejected over 25 different worlds that they had already developed, the CEO of the company that developed the game choked one of his employees over some dumb shit... they did what they could with the tools and timeframe they were given. There’s a documentary about the development of this game somewhere out there I forgot the name but it’s over an hour long and has some of the developers in it explaining what went down
Nothing is wrong with this game. It is a perfect game with no exploits.
I still have the first three original games. I played the first one a little while ago or about 2 years ago now that I think about it. No way this is still possible in the remaster?
I remember my sister renting this game at Blockbuster in 2002. It was awful. One glitch has Spyro running on the sky.
Riptos rage is the best to speedrun
I had this game as a child. I wish I was not less than ten years old and could see how bad this game was, but I was very young and could not even go through adult link's castle town in Ocarina of Time because I was completely terrified of the Redeads, how would I tell how much a game is crap when I thought it was fun to just run around and jump in a game. But, I think every kid was terrified of Redeads, and even at 16 years old they still creep me out on the HD remake.
This is my favorite Spyro game :(
Getting stuck in one stop and then stun locked? Wonderful. I forgot how bad this game was... Damn my Spyro fanatic as a kid and playing every game. I thought Spyro Orange was the worst but now I can see why I only played this once lmao
The best game on Gamecube.
Instead of 60 frames per second it's 60 seconds per frame
you can also play it on ps2 i think
I only played spyro one when I was like 6 on some console
So will you play Half life 1 as Spyro?
Lol i was the one spamming about Lee Hazelwood
