I had iroiro pink in my hair a few months ago and i dyed my hair black because I did not want to damage it trying to remove it. A month later my hair is still black but the water is hot pink when I wash my hair lmao idk what’s going on.
You can stack crayons on top of each other, literally. Lol but no really, when you color with crayons, the colors stack wax on wax like individual layers of waxy color on paper & obviously black will go over another color crayon..However the color of the 1st crayon/s will still be under that black shade.. It's just an illusioooonnnnn lol.

I did that!! two rounds of L'Oreal color fix and a round or two of bleach!! then tone it when it's a very tiny bit yellow almost white and you can get an icey blonfe

I went into Sally’s beauty the other day to buy bleach and developer and I told the worker that I was going to mix 10 and 20 to make a 15 developer because my natural color is very light and I just need to do my roots and she basically told me that that was pointless and wouldn’t make a difference from just using 20 developer, and looked at me like I was stupid. She said “i’ve been a professional for 30 years I think I know what I’m talking about” Just wondering what your opinion on that is because I lowkey wanted to cry lol.
I think she was rude and definitely could have been nicer, 15vol compared to 20vol isn’t THAT much different but if it makes us feel better why hate on it? 😂🖤🖤
@@missmiawallis706 the lower volume dilutes the stronger one. Like mixing in nesquik into white milk! It’s not a strong brown, but not a strong white either
I think the advice could have been useful, but there's no reason for her to be mean. And I don't think you wasted your money either. Developer lasts for a long time, and there might be a project down the line where you'll need the 10 or the 20. And it will give you a chance to get to know your hair. You can try 15 this time, maybe 20 or 10 another time, and see if it makes a difference for you.
I regularly use the Aphogee treatment and I find that when my hair is really damaged (like after bleaching it), it's ok to use it twice back to back rather than the recommended once a month.

I love the pastel cotton candy colors, but getting my hair light enough is a pain in the ass. I just keep my hair in a short pixie so any damage that I do to my hair in the bleaching process just gets cut off in a month or two. It's just hair. And pixies are so easy to deal with.

I’m not sure if you’re trying to stay away from bleach based color strippers, but I’ve used the Pulp Riot’s blank Canvas, and I was able to strip out day-old-red and blue, and it goes back to blonde pretty nicely. And I’ve used it on fine, coarse, curly and straight hair and it even helps remove black hair dye nicely. But I think you should try it, you can get it at salon centric and the packets are like $3 or $4 a pack and the ratio is 1:3 I believe

The yellow blond color might comes from the teal wich contains yellow wich might have stained the nice white hair... i have that on one side of my head... wich is baby pink roots white blond to a hint of pink on the lengths and yellow/blond ends..( the other side is stained green that's bin there for 2 years and i think when i tried to bleach it out i baked the green further into the hair cus its here to stay
Thank's for the help but tried that.. it turned a dusty purple (that was 6 months ago..) since then each 2 to 4 weeks i darkened the pink (added more red in the colour for the green and added a tat bleu in the pink on other side to even out the end result) to see what i need to not have a dusty/muddy colored side.. when its fresh and a dark bubblegum and fushia its okay but 1 week later its lightens to a point where its muddy again i have about 6 inch of bleached roots that never had anything but pink on them so its fades wierd... dark pink link roots, lighter pink & green lengts + yellow end since those are bleached the most and cuticles dont close anymore.. i gave up i either walk the rest if the summer with pale faded hair or give in and split dye again with dark a purple and a dark pink (the pink fades pretty on the lights side and i keep hoping to even both sides back to platinium one day)

I’ve wanted to say this for a while now. But you should check if an ikea near you has the “synnerby” mirror. Its a 3 part mirror you can put behind you which makes dyeing the back of your head a million times easier.
You should try the swartzkopf hair color remover!It removes hair color on bleached hair wonderfully with an 8-10 vol developer and it can also lift the hair up to 3 levels depending on the developer that u gonna use!
Just some advice! When doing Color Removers, wether a vitamin c treatment, bleach based, etc. don’t wet your hair, wet hair is at its weakest when wet and at it’s full elasticity causing more breakage. 6 vol and 10 vol allow for hair color molecules such as blues, greens and reds, to be pushed further out leaving an even better canvas to work with, just works low and slow but why not wait a little longer to preserve a bit more of integrity! The treatment you did was great, maybe try out some collagen hair treatments as well! Other than that I’m excited to see your new hair color choice!

Ughhhh that sucks. Dilute a tiny bit of pink dye and pop it on top of the green. It should neutralize the color a bit ❤️

I have the exact same mindset as you! Its hair, itll grow back and if not ill buy a wig 🤷♀️ in the last 2 days ive bleached my roots and done a green/pink split dye and am sat with my dye and showcap on my hair atm and rainbow hands 😂

Your hair, do what you want. I used to color my hair all throughout my 20s too, it wasn't until my late 30s that it stopped growing back after all the color stripping. But you got time, so have fun lol

I’ve wanted to say this for a while now. But you should check if an ikea near you has the “synnerby” mirror. Its a 3 part mirror you can put behind you which makes dyeing the back of your head a million times easier.

You should try the swartzkopf hair color remover!It removes hair color on bleached hair wonderfully with an 8-10 vol developer and it can also lift the hair up to 3 levels depending on the developer that u gonna use!
Just some advice! When doing Color Removers, wether a vitamin c treatment, bleach based, etc. don’t wet your hair, wet hair is at its weakest when wet and at it’s full elasticity causing more breakage.
6 vol and 10 vol allow for hair color molecules such as blues, greens and reds, to be pushed further out leaving an even better canvas to work with, just works low and slow but why not wait a little longer to preserve a bit more of integrity!
The treatment you did was great, maybe try out some collagen hair treatments as well!
