Bigger heavier white belts at the gym hoping smaller lighter white belts don't watch this escape. This will nullify 100% of their submission attacks.

How is being heavier genetic in a broad perspective. Anyone can build muscle and weight through training

I’d debate if this works because if it does then you’ll end up in twisting arm control, secondly americanas at least where I’m taught you stay tight to the person completely isolating the arm and squishing them which will stop the turning, and for tucking the elbow, when doing a Americana you make sure there is no space between your bicep and their tricep or elbow

Got caught twice with one of these yesterday despite using the proper escape because I was smashed by much larger partners. The best defense is not letting your arm get extended in the first place. i.e. Don't be lazy with your defensive posture.

So basically if you get americana'ed, you're a noob?

Yeah but they’re a good way to set up other submissions

You can use americana to get them to turn or sometimes people extend their arms to defend it as well. After they turn, you can go for S mount, gift wrap, arm triangle, etc.
