This 10th anniversary edition of Between the Buried and Me’s critically-acclaimed fifth studio album, The Great Misdirect, is out now on CD, vinyl and digital. Newly remixed and remastered. In addition to the standard black double-LP release, a special edition color variant (disc one in translucent orange and disc two in opaque white) is available exclusively via the official Between the Buried and Me store, and on tour (while stocks last).

Every fragment of this song is utterly exceptional
Everytime at 2:33 and the next verse untill the guitar plays by its self is just like another world everytime i hear it and feels always the first time just get sucked right in and just so amazing played and everything in harmony too the lyrics and just craftmanship of this band and is one of my top 5 of all time and seeing them twice in Richmond VA with the first them performing this whole album as a whole was phenomenal experience and the transitions to each song but theres alot of parts in this album even Desert of Song just feel everything from it like i can relate to it as it was a part of my own life and just speaks it feels and the rest of the song being so epic after this whole part is perfect
Finally I can get a version that doesnt just abruptly end with like 10 seconds left.

2:12 reminds me of the intro in "The Glass Prison" by Dream Theater.
There's something about "the great misdirect" that speaks to me. In my opinion it's by far their best body of work
This remaster is a pleasant surprise. The separation is so much better. Cymbals, snare and guitars are easier to pull apart and sound more lively. Thank you guys!
By far my favorite song off this album. The remaster sounds a lot more aggressive & has more clarity all around. Very nice 🙏

The bass guitar solo really benefited from the remaster.
Also honorable mention to the cross stick sound coming out and adding additional ambiance during the clean bridge.

Still have the original in my car, and it's gotten more car play than any physical copy I own. While this is definitely a better mix, I can't stop myself from loving the rawness of the original mix on the album. It's just burned into my brain that way.
