Learn 5 important Piano rhythm patterns to support the Right-Hand melody. The goal is to maintain a steady pulse and then build the patterns around it. This 2 part series will hopefully develop your hands to work independently with different roles - Melody in the right hand and Harmony + Rhythm in the Left Hand
06:15 - Pulse - Legato vs Staccato | Slow vs Fast
11:00 - “Toggling” Pulse - Root + Octave/Perfect 5th
13:15 - “Disco” Pulse (Sixteenth Notes)
15:07 - We will rock you!
17:11 - Tresillo Видеоклипы

So kind of you!
Recently stumbled onto your awesome videos and love them, esp. your no-nonsense teaching/demo style. I am a semi-classical and filmy-cover singer, but trying to learn keyboard lately, and finding you videos very useful with your emphasis on building some creative melodies as we do go through the practice-routines and fingering exercises. Keep rocking, Jason, and thank you for your videos..
Awesome, thank you Ravi! And welcome on board!

I really enjoy this type of content because it is like giving me accompaniment tools that I can practice and add to my musical arsenal. Could you do another video about how to fit right and left-hand accompaniments to a sung melody?

Wow, i'm practicing the we will rock you pattern, and I can do it well, also the right hand can do the melody as well. But when I try to play both at the same time and it's like I cano not do it. I will keep practicing. Thanks for the lesson Jason!

Awesome
Thanks a ton 🙏🏼
Basically a funk version of Loch Lommond!
Yep 👍🏿
Very nice 👌👌👌👌👌
Thanks a lot Avinash!
Jason, thanks for another wonderful video. You are indeed a great teacher. I can play a song if the left hand plays chords and right hand melody. But if I have to break up the chords in the left, I'm not sure how to fit it with the melody. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
Thanks Magdeline! You'll have to develop your hand independence from many perspectives. Perhaps check this playlist out. There are quite a few approaches: ruclips.net/p/PLrNNL05e9FT-On4vodpAoZqTlWDCS5jv7
Hi Jason, I'm really enjoying your teachings, you're a great teacher. I would like to know the steps to a beginner pianist? or what methods should be follow.
I'm all over the place Like crazy.
Hi Ann. Perhaps you could do our normal Piano course for beginners which I teach at Nathaniel. You can write to music@nathanielschool.com. We've also prepared a list of lessons on RUclips designed for newcomers like you: ruclips.net/p/PLrNNL05e9FT-rzWqok8kAwaAQ4kgqk4V6
So, I struggle with what you mentioned at 11:58. Both hands want to do the same thing, independently they can do their thing though. For example, doing staccato with left and legato with right is difficult.
Watching the playlist you shared, to fix this.. :)
Thanks,
Try this as well: ruclips.net/video/8kF9pV4uZPE/видео.html
Nice syncopated rthym sir ji. Love to learn such syncopated rthym. Is it taught only for students in your membership. If is it so then I would like to be your student. I want to learn advanced gospel piano, balad, pop, and others. But I want to learn only without staff notation, Is it possible or do you teach stuff like that in your membership. Please let me know.
Thanks so much for watching the lesson and for your interest in learning music with me. You can consider our structured members only content on the website: www.nathanielschool.com/video-courses
Else, you can also do regular online courses - music@nathanielschool.com | +91 7760456847
I personally like the root and 5th as bass (like a "power chord" arpeggio!), but if your hands are too close together to hit the octave, maybe you could substitute the octave lower instead? Thanks again, Jason, for another exceptional lesson.
Totally agree John!
@@nathanielschool Now if I can only get my hands to agree to do different things (be different instruments)!
THANKS. VERY. NICE. JAIPUR
So nice of you Patrick!
Hi. could you send the link to the Patreon post for this specific post?
Here you go: www.patreon.com/posts/43452167. Sorry! Had forgotten to put the specific Patreon link!
Hi Jason, how do you follow a singer with a new song? Let say the singer started with a key of C, just do the chord progression? What do you do? tnx EdA
I will do a dedicated video on this! However, will be going tonight and demonstrating this with a popular song. This should also help: ruclips.net/video/CAV2SafUsZ4/видео.html
That bass on the back ..., ( as former bass player learning piano now is a bit emotional 🥲.., )
The Bass Rules all :)
Pls explain how to play the guitar gospel rthym on piano.
Hmm. I don't understand what you mean? Can you elaborate?
Sorry I mean how to play swinging rthym like a guitar on piano. Any rthym gospel if you could. Hope you got my point. I would really appreciated if you could break down on this. Thank you.
Please see the channel for rhythm patterns. We've covered a bunch of this stuff!
Sir earlier to my request Bollywood Rhytham pattern as in your this tutorial melody scale is same in which one famous song is composed ISHARON ISHARON MAIN DIL LENE WALE BATA YE HUNNAR TUNE SIKHA KAHAN SE. what pattern we will form to play with LH as sóme time you do not want to play RHYTHMS from Ext Pack thank you sir
Awesome to know!

want to hear from a proper music teacher.....
Sure John. For a structured course, perhaps you could write to us: music@nathanielschool.com. Will send you information on our foundation course!
13:56 how do you combine left hand and right hand? It's sounds like a fusion
Here are some Independence exercises for you: ruclips.net/p/PLrNNL05e9FT-On4vodpAoZqTlWDCS5jv7
@@nathanielschool thanks so much, but i don't understand how can i play like you at 13:50 Asking if you have time thanks
@@nathanielschool 13:56 *
Sir what digital piano you are playing.
I am currently playing the Roland - RD88 🎹
When I tap out the pulse I mess the melody up lol 🤦🏾♂️ I’ll keep at it because sometimes I find the zone
📍5:25
Try playing only the Pulse and sing the Melody? Eventually this will happen! Keep at it!
@@nathanielschool I will definitely keep on working at it because having hand independence is key to be a sound piano player. Great video and instruction.
How I can negligent to subscribe your channel that will be my loss not your to subscribe for such valued tutorials is very meager
Thanks a being a part of our channel Rafik!
