    Love these clips, even though I don't understand Italian it is informative. Thanks for the subtitles you have added for the main points being made. Really good.

    Stupendo! che bello vedervi lavorare tutti assieme sotto la vecchia quercia! e poi vedo una bella analogia anche con la scherma storica occidentale nel momento di "Teng Nuo mostra il suo spirito". Grazie mille M° Dante

      Hello unfortunately for the San Jie Gun, at the moment I don't have a student who wants to study it. And so I can't demonstrate the applications that I care a lot about. As soon as possible I will do it with pleasure.

      it is a Dao not a Jian, the taiji saber has this particular shape, which looks like a sword, but it is a saber with only one edge ruclips.net/video/zNLe6j0NBgA/видео.html

      @@DanteBasili it is funny, i always see sword in Hong Kong, this is the 1st time to hear it. Thank for your information. Your videos are very nice. But they are just to move their bodies, not for combat.

      @@DanteBasili Just watched your linked video, yes, it is saber. But the style is almost same as sword, I'm interested with it now.

  • @VanishingNomad

    Although I really like your videos, you seem to have some very scary errors that need correcting...putting the sharp of the blade on your skin is the biggest one. In those positions, you have the flat of the blade on the skin, not the sharp.

    • @DanteBasili
      @DanteBasili  3 года назад +3

      Ciao. There is a difference between saber and sword, this is a saber. I never touch the edge of the saber blade, but only the back of the saber blade which is without edge. It is precisely a characteristic of the saber that it can be pushed and pressed with the hand on the blade (not on the edge). With the sword, which has a double edge, this is not possible.

    • @DanteBasili
      @DanteBasili  3 года назад +2

      (The misunderstanding arises from the fact that this particular type of saber, of ancient shape, in video looks like a sword)
