Every day Greg Miller, Colin Moriarty, Tim Gettys, and Nick Scarpino talk about the biggest stories in nerd culture. Развлечения
the moment colin says that dirty grandpa is better than imtaition game
Holy shit Greg thinks Zac Efron actually did all the singing in High School Musical? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
"Imitation Game isn't good" "Dirty Grandpa is way better". Yeaaaaah I can't take your opinions on movies seriously. Thankfully you guys are in the video game industry.
they probably dont like the idea that the UK had such an important role in ww2 , and that it wasnt just the US that was important
Alejandro Salazar its objectively not as good, it's also an insulting, disgusting, vapid mess that de niro should be ashamed of
Killingglorie yeah that's relevant
Jeez, Colin breathe. I felt myself choking listening to you finish a sentence in one breath.
33:00 Tim doesn't want to spend hours watching something that is only "kinda funny."
"I don't want to spend two hours watching something that is Kinda Funny" - Tim Gettys
Colin I disagree, The Imitation Game was amazing. I loved it.
Fact checking: 40 year old virgin was loved by critics and viewers. The Heat has positive critical reception. Daddy's Home is bad (lol jk on the last one).
Fact check: Nick likes every movie.
Fact check: Superbad and Knocked up are both loved by critics and viewers. Tim is crazy. Superbad does not fall apart in the end.
Comedy is really subjective, while most people can sympathise with something sad (drama). That's why (imo) it's so difficult to make a good comedy; you can't please everyone.
You don't need to please everyone though. The Japanese don't seem to have a problem with creating good comedy, as there are plenty of good comedy anime and light-hearted, comical stories in Japanese developed video games. Take the Hyperdimension Neptunia series for example. I regularly laugh out loud during the story segments of those games, and they've only gotten better over time.
That's just you being a weeb, though. To most of us that shit is cringe.
Tim has literally the exact opposite opinion than me ON ALMOST EVERYTHING. I can not fucking like this guy!!!!!!!! GOOOOODAAAMMMNIT.
LMAO you sound like a petulant child. They're just opinions, stop acting like a weirdo about them.
I'm a movie fan and believe that good movies are good movies, period. It really annoys/confuses me when some people don't want to give a movie any real validation simply because it stars a superhero.
I hate film snobs that expect everything to be the movie of the year. Doesn't matter if a movie is animated, is set in the old west, is in black or white, has a female lead, or stars a superhero. Good movies are good movies, and it's about time people realize that.
Tim Gettys: "I don't want to waste 2 hours watching something kinda funny."
😁😋
40+ minute topic, nice =)
published for 15 mins and already has a dislike...
Joe Romero now there is 3!
Best line in that Bad Grandpa movie, "I want you to tear off my bra like it's a social security check". I grew up around Atlanta and have friends that became lawyers there, that relationship is legit how many of them are. I've been to those brunches before. lol
Grandma's Boy is such a hilarious movie. So many memorable quotes and great cast.
I love you Tim, but you are a comedy snob sir.
He's such a piece of shit!
Salivating Salamander woah.
Tyler Blair the irony in insulting someone because they insulted someone.
sweet
TheJr1302 yea...he has a short attention span. that's sad doe.
TheJr1302 But Dirty Grandpa is REALLY shitty. so is Daddy's Home, and that's coming from a Will Ferrel fan that LOVED The Other Guys
I would watch a show where Nick And Tim talk about fashion
Totally agree with Nick on the last part about being in the right mindset and seeing a movie again through the right lense. It wasn't until my third time watching The Other Guys that my brain decided it is my favorite comedy of all time with Step Brothers and Hot Rod close behind.
33:03 - 33:07 Tim and Greg break the fourth wall and it's absolutely amazing
Art is subjective. Movies are art. Therefore you can think/say anything you want about it. But there's no universe in which 'Dirty Grandpa' is even on the same field as 'The Imitation Game'. I'm sorry, Colin but... You're dismissed! XD
Fletch is one of my favorite Chevy Chase movies. So good, and that theme music is iconic!
Two extremely underrated comedies you guys should just fucking trust me and watch.... Keanu, and Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. Don't do trailers, just watch the damn films, you will love them and if you don''t fuck you! ;) Love you guys and keep it up.
Jono Knight never seen Keanu and pop stars Was pretty good.
Jono Knight Agreed. Both awesome, but I enjoyed Popstar a bit more.
Jono Knight man Popstar is something special honestly I haven't laughed that hard at a movie in a long time
Nick on wives/girlfriends and movies they don't wanna see. Lol. 34:00
Holy shit! The ad is so good I watched it twice!
I saw Dirty Grandpa in theaters, and thought it was just ok. I laughed a few times, but by the end of the movie, I just couldn't wait to leave the theater. But to each his own.
Paused this and watched Dirty Grandpa. Was not disappointed! Thanks, Guys!
Man I have never agreed more with Nick on a topic than this one! Great job!
Have faith Greg, I'm 26, and favorite comedies probably are grandmas boy and step brothers, dont find comedy to be a strong movie genre, but always enjoy a good comedy! If i am entertained, then the movie is successful in my eyes!
I fucking love the Grown Ups movies.
Schlinders List is just about as funny as Dirty Grandpa. It makes sense that they like the band 311.
I agree laugh out loud moments in both
CasperGgoodwood Yep ur right. But as friends they should tease him bout that
CasperGgoodwood I give up, you win. 311 isn't as bad as Bad Grandpa. Apologies
The more I watched this episode, the more I just realized that you guys have terrible taste in movies lol. But to each his own I guess ; )
There needs to be a patreon tier to be serenaded by Gregs beautiful voice
Don't ever forget Old School
This was the best ad read yet. More sponsors should let you guys write your own ads.
"Dirty Grandpa is better than Imitation Game." -guy who eats mayonnaise with pizza.
Tim accurately captured my feelings this entire video
Greg Miller LOVES Pixels...literally unforgivable.
My favorite part about this video is Tim saying those comedy movies suck while he loves fast and furious.
"I don't want to spend 2 hours watching something that's Kinda Funny......" - Tim Gettys
Literally stopped the podcast to go watch Dirty Grandpa what a good movie
"Not like Mick Foley after he retired" 😂😂😂
One of the first ads I watched to completion. Keep doing ads like that. That was fucking hilarious.
Saw Dirty Grandpa drunk outa my brain and it had me busting up!
Yo Stole - Kelly Rowland is legit one of the best songs of the early '00s no joke.
"I don't want to spend two hours watching something that's kinda funny." Well... is this channel not that? LOL
i had the same experience with tim on step brothers and anchorman. i didnt laugh at all but then went back and it was hilarious
Swiss Army Man: great movie, funny, crazy ideas, great acting. Under performed.
Just watched Dirty Grandpa because of this and it was definitely a bad movie
nick is so on point with his scenarios
After I read all the reviews I never thought to give Dirty Grandpa the time of day because I thought it would just be a terrible comedy. Then Nick and Colin started talking about it on the morning show and how much they loved it and so I thought I'd check it out. Gotta say I pretty much agreed with their thoughts on it. I was highly entertained and laughed quite a bit. "FUCK EM UP ALF!"
I had to pause this so I could watch dirty grandpa
32:51 "You seem to have been poo pooing on every Colin we've thrown out" wut?
Oh no. The old people are losing touch???
Wow people hate on the ads but as long as Greg keeps reading them its fine.....Peta its fine.
Tim saying that our generation is different is him not looking outside of his box. I turn 26 in a month. Me and my group of friends are on the side of Nick, Greg, and Colin. Adam Sandler has been my life, Dirty Grandpa is hilarious, Caddyshack is a classic, Superbad was a coming of age movie, and 40 Year Old Virgin is outstanding. Tim, you just don't like comedies its fine. Again, I am 25 and youtube videos did not become something that my circle understood or paid attention to until we were in our 20s.
Tim breaking the 4th wall 😂
Hey, dude! It's a little wild and a little strange...when you make your home out on the range!
Nick, Zac Efron plays young Matthew Perry in 17 Again. And yes, that movie is actually hilarious
The lighting makes Nick's laptop look bent as fuck.
17 Again, the movie Nick referenced, was Efron's breakout role for me. First movie I saw him in and didn't associate him with High School Musical.
Greg is amazing lol. Knows every song to the T.
I would watch a full 50minute show of Greg singing
Dirty grandpa sucked bad. I had to stop watching it. Zachs other movie mike and Dave get wedding dates is 10 times better than they garbage
WATCH OUT FOR THE BEEHIVE LMAO
17 Again Nick! great movie :)
I am starting to think Nick needs his own show for us older folk. Marriage with Nick.
That ad was worth watching!
Haha, that's the best ad read yet!
Enjoyed the more kick backed ad intro this week.
i'm calling my boy colin "Lola's Daddy" from now on 😂
I tried to watch Dirty Grandpa but surprisingly didn't work for me. I think I need to be in the mood for that humor.
nick looks more muscular every week. all the shadow boxing is finally paying off ☺
What type of mic do they use for this show.
They don't start talking about bad movies until ten minutes in
If Grandma's Boy was Kinda Funny, Nick would be Dante
Please let Greg write all ads from now on !!
I actually liked this ad, it was hilarious
70% of the movies I watch are based on the fact that an actor I like plays in that movie.
2016 was a great year for horror.
The Witch
The Conjuring 2
Lights out
Don't breathe (Top 10 of the year for me)
Blair Witch
Ouija: Origin of evil (I know the original sucked but this was good)
The Neon Demon
Purge Election Year (my fav of the trilogy)
Not really horror but might fit
The Shallows
10 Cloverfield lane
OMG Gregg not remembering the name of Margot Martindale its so Bojack.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO WATCH SUPER TROOPERS
Grandmas Boy!!! Hell yeah.
What I don't understand is why people who want to watch mindless comedies late at night choose shitty Adam Sandler movies over shows, like say, "It's Always Sunny", which is not only brilliant comedy but is also a blast to watch mindlessly. I'm glad the KF guys are having fun watching shitty movies, but I bet they would be having even more fun watching truly great comedy that also doesn't require much brain power.
We're all walruses at heart.
You guys NEED to watch The Greasy Strangler
Don't be a Kevin. Kevin, who is wearing a Kinda Funny branded shirt.
Tim representin' MIC DROP! p.s. Manatees are Huge!
Went and saw Dirty Grandpa on a last minute decision with my mate knowing full well the bad reviews and had a blast, nearly died laughing, honestly don't understand the bad reviews. Hilarious.
Ok this ad was amazing.
Vayshen stop dressing like Kevin and dress like Tim instead. Greg needs to write all the ads
I love Greg's shirt
Tim, some jokes don't work outside of the context of the story. You can't just be dropped into any comedic situation and receive the same emotion if it was distilled and presented to you outside of the idea. Some can, but i'd wager the vast majority of comedy can't.
Internet meme's and such are funny (when they are funny) for about a minute and then you move onto the next thing. At least that's how i feel about them.
Even my mom loves Grandma's Boy.
also... has Nick seen Kung Fury!?!? Thats such a Nick movie
I'm surprised you guys never mentioned Chris Farely
Dirty Grandpa isn't a good movie, but it is hilarious. I happened to watch it last night, and it's exactly what a wanted at the time; just something to turn off my brain to and chill for a couple hours
looooove Grandma's Boy
Does anyone know where Greg gets these awesome shirts?
into the wild is amazing
I'm surprised Tom Green didn't come up. Freddie Got Fingered has to be mentioned in this list.
solid ad read
