    1:20 "Changes the type of voltage"...... should be "Changes the voltage"
    3:08 "Any type of solar panel up to 100 watt"...... you can use larger panels which will help when the sun is not that strong. Only things is, the Mini will take only 100 watt.
    5:02 the non-wireless version is also missing the USB-C port

      I've been back packing now for the past 30 years. many in remote locations, Back in the day I have always carried power with me. from D to AAA batteries, small 12v brick batteries and I can tell that back up power is so important for safety. I power lights, walkies and radios You never know if you find yourself in dangerous conditions as I have. Now that cellphones have replaced many of my must have gadgets they need power and carrying 6 pounds that can give 300w is a important luxury for back packers.

      @@cameranmanner4701 Sorry, I’m not knocking anyone for using that kind of stuff. Whatever floats your boat. It’s just that to me, roughing it means that you don’t have ANY electronics. That’s what makes it rough.

    • @cameranmanner4701
      @cameranmanner4701 2 года назад +1

      @@christianjorgensen249 roughing it is a relative term for me. Safety is paramount as you have responsibility to be safe for friends and family. In the 80s and 90s i carried walkies and pocket radio for safety and the rest is minimal provisions such as tent, fire starter and sleeping bag and enough food and water for the length of my excursion and yes a camera. That was the only non essential item in my bag. But it was important to me i capture my trip.
      Even though i brought electronics it gave me and others a sense of safety.

    Check me on this, but I believe the cheaper option ALSO omits the 100Watt PD port in addition to skipping the wireless charger. That could be important to people looking to charge their laptops directly from the USB PD port.

    So this name of this unit is a little misleading. It is not a generator it is a battery power system. A generator produces power it self not being charged by another source.
    I do think this is a good unit and would work well with a solar cell or what ever other power source.
    But again this is “NOT a Generator”

    Good video. It may be 10 times cheaper but it's 12 times weaker. You sacrifice many options for a small handful of options you can use it with for the convenience of price and size. The pro is the better value even though its about as heavy as a boat anchor.

    • @SilverCymbal
      @SilverCymbal  2 года назад +1

      I agree with you that the Pro is amazing and super heavy but there are lots of times you just don't need that on the road. Running that small cooler is a great example of powering something important thats small where you might need lightweight.

    • @Equinox68
      @Equinox68 2 года назад +2

      @@SilverCymbal yes definitely agree it would be good for camping and such. But if I'm going to invest money, I'm going for the one that can do more. I'd rather have something that could save me in a blackout for my fridge etc and lug that thing on a camping trip. Or... Once I have the big guy, then I might consider buying the little one for convenience. Either way, I love your reviews. Keep up the great work.

    210Wh for over $300 is a tough ask these days. Golabs is probably one of the more well reviewed but lower tier units and that's 300Wh for $200. Even Jackery is doing 300Wh for $300. Weird for Ecoflow; I really thought they'd do something to put them on par with the other 300Wh power stations.

    • @SilverCymbal
      @SilverCymbal  2 года назад +4

      Yes I agree about the capacity but keep in mind that xboost feature is very real for a lot of appliances and the app for some is an awesome add, plus it charges I think 4x faster than any of the others. So it's defintiely got some big pluses but definitely on just raw runtime alone I agree with you.

    • @Mike_219
      @Mike_219 2 года назад +1

      @@SilverCymbal Those are great points! The ability to use xboost to run the coffee maker is kind of a game changer if that's all you want to run and don't need capacity. Most of the other 500Wh and under power stations won't run that. You'd have to go for something that has a 700W inverter so maybe the Bluetti EB55.
      And come to think of it, with the rate Ecoflow power stations charge, I'd probably take that over the snail's pace that Jackerys do.

    3:16 the way your turn on your car makes me uncomfortable. I'm so used to leaving it on the ON position for about 2-3 seconds before starting it

      This one is either $319 or $349, they make big ones that cost that much but this small one is the most affordable one in the lineup ecoflow.com/collections/delta-series?aff=37

      I worked in hospitals for decades so I always think of their pockets in lab coats. But it definitely wouldn't fit in those pockets Gigi Hadid has on her jeans

    Yeah I live in Florida where the state crop might be known as LAWN, So that all aside it's amazing to me all these weed wackers and blowers and trucks tending to just this one issue, yet you will not find on the market the much more powerful electrified version of the above mentioned without a sound using much less power with five times the kick to say the least and that's without putting their minds to it. At any given moments you can hear blowers and weed wackers in various places at any given time or holiday and it just doesn't seem to make sense anymore 🥀🤔

      You need to click on products, then choose the River Mini, its $349 or $319 without wireless ecoflow.com/collections/delta-series?aff=37

    Please stop referring to these as “generators” in any context, including video titles. It’s misleading at best, and malicious at worst (because people don’t understand the differences in terminology).
