Plenty of room for a car camp, which looked a good idea in that weather. Cannot believe that mussy and wet up to Hartsop Dodd in this really almost June. Weather was much better back at the car and watch out for flying axes when you meet up with Lundy lol. Cheers Alan

Big ups to the Sierra Nevada! I used to work at the Chico brewery and have personally packaged hundreds of thousands of those cans. It also doesn’t suck that it’s about a mile from my house and I can smell it if the breeze is blowing the right way.
Well done mandingo, I like the wild camps as much as the stealth camps as your less restricted and we can see a lot more.

Nice one Chris. Was nice to watch the clagg lift and then see the views as it cleared on the way down. Can't wait to get over there at the beginning of August now. Hope the weather's improved though. Mandingo, we are often worried you would get lost on these hikes so it’s good to know you carry at Sat Nav with you. When the weather closes in like that, I imagine it would be v😢easy to lose your sense of direction and get lost.

Great camp. Feeling sheepish during the whaskey review but turned out not too baaaaad. Those painted wooley backs are saying "sell us yer jawbone." I imagine the drive home smelled of farts, chicken, cooking oil and a wee bit of whiskey. Thanks for the day brightener.

I'm outing myself here as a big Friend of the Wednesday Wildcamps!
I'm swiss, never been even near the British Isles, It's my Way to explore the absolutely wonderfull british Wilderness (I love Nature, Animals and Wilderness and cooler Weather) these Wilcamps tick most of the Points on my List of what I wanted to see/do if i'd gotten the Chance (and my Health back) to go somewhere else!
The Stealthcamps, well, I don't want to hurt anyone, they are both Labourintensive and difficult/dangerous to do, but the only somewhat interesting Part is to get into the Spot and that's it, the Rest is always the same.
I did watch a few RUclips Stealthcampingcanals, including Big ones like Steve Wallis, but I got bored quite quickly and stopped, it's not just a BLOT-Thing.
But BLOTinsky's Stealthcampinovskis i still watch as Backgroundsound while doing Stuff just to get him one more View for the RUclipsstatiskinovskis....

Its somewhere I want to go, because I have a little thing I want to do before I die and that’s to visit every country in Europe at least once and I’ve got a some way to go yet.
Where in Switzerland would you recommend?
@@Natasha___. That's a rather hard and difficult Question to answer, as each Region has it's very own Charme to it. But Switzerland is small, has a very good and reliable Public Transportation Network.(Eurailpass and others may help to keep Costs down, Switzerland is expensive, even for us natives!) It can generally be sliced in 3 Stripes: Alpine (high Mountains deep Valleys), Lowlands (big Lakes, big Cities but often foggy) and Jura (rolling Hills, small-ish Settlements). Depends on what you like Most.
Be aware that in the Mainseason it can be absolutely stuffed to the Brim with Asian, Arab and Indian Tourists, in the more commonly known Places...
I live in the Berner Oberland, so naturally I'd recommend coming here :)
If I had to pick? I think the Kandertal would be my favored here. It's absolutely gorgeous, with plenty of hikingtrails rangeing from flat to Mountaineering and other Attractions like Europe's steepest Postbusroute, the Niesen Funicular with stunning Views over all of the western swiss Alps, Oeschinensee Cablecar, it is near Lake Thun if you want to go swimming, plus it has very good Interregional Connections (1hr to Bern f.ex.) Nearby Thun is a lovely little City with the old City and it's Castel from the 12th Century still intact.
